  • After a lot of research on preparing particles I found most not to be the greatest for carp or fish in general. Your standard rock salt has anti caking agents in it which are really bad for fish. If you use pure Himalayan Rock salt it is completely natural and also 100% safe for the fish. You can find it here on Amazon at a very good price. amzn.to/1G3uNiW This will allow your particles to become pva friendly.

Great video Brian - I make heavy use of particles and this will certainly help me learn how to avoid the dreaded PVA meltdown and utilize many other products in my mixes. Fins-UP!

Just another tip of you have not tried it.
I make a saline solution using the phs and let my particles soak in it. Fill my pva same as you but after that I drop the whole thing back in the solution. Your bags will last for months and stay extra juicy adding more flavor. Didn't know if you have tried this yet.

Very nice! I haven't tried it with hemp myself yet but I have tried it with sweet corn and maize corn in the Himalayan rock salt and that worked well. Great video and one quick question, was the water colder or warmer?
