    You ride however you want, but not using the front brake is horrible advice.

    • @SmittyAZ
      @SmittyAZ Рік тому +1

      There are still 'Biker Types' that preach to young riders to NOT use the front brakes.
      Go find a clean empty road / parking lot, practice and see for yourself how much longer the stopping distance is, when you're afraid of the front brakes.

    • @occyman

      Yep it’s disgustingly ignorant advice

      Using the front break with rear break for emergency braking is the safest way to avoid collision with that car that didn’t see you when you are at speed and it pulls out

    Congrats on new bike. You may want to watch a few exhaust videos before you pull the trigger on a new set of pipes. Some have regretted going with aftermarket after a while. For me, I just punched out 1st baffle in each pipe. Plenty loud for me, and cheap to do. Keeps neighbors at bay also. I also put on floorboards, sissy bar, and heel & toe shifter. Small changes can make a big difference.

    The back tire on that bike is just fine. No need to waste money on a fat tire. You get better handling and better gas milage and faster acceleration with the stock size.

    I love my Vance & Hines. I installed baffles to take away the "burpy" sound and that gave them a deeper rumble. I think it sounds great. You're in for some great times ahead Brother. Beautiful machine, ride safe.

    In the break-in phase you should shift and change rpm as often as possible. Breaking it in with constant revs is not good for the motor. That is by the way also what the manual says.
