I’ve owned a Scout Bobber for almost 4 years now, I’ve 26,000kms on the clock, and I absolutely love it. My only criticism of it, is the smallish tank. I get roughly 200-230km, depending on how hard I ride it, from the tank before the fuel light comes on. Other than that, I love it and haven’t regretted buying it at any stage
Thank you very much for this video, it is really very successful, mega cool video recordings and I also think the presentation is great! I personally think that the Indian line with its Scout or Chief or Pursuit or the other models are really extremely well done. I'm really happy that you as customers are making such great machines available to us and I'm very excited about what we're looking forward to look forward to it in the future! Greetings from the south of Germany Stuttgart City
I bought a 2015 Scout new and was very disappointed with the very poor suspension, very poor cornering and lack of high speed stability/ fatigue. Stability/ fatigue fixed with custom screen, suspension improved with 2 thousand of dollars tuning the front and alternative shocks. Couldn't fix my leg getting violently ripped from the footpeg and thrown behind me when cornering! Very happy with the power and build quality. According to this review two of the three issues I had have been resolved. That's a plus for those that can live without windies in their life.
For me the most important aspect is looks + character of the bike. I've had a harley sportster and a ktm duke 790. The Ktm was perfect in every way performance and handling-wise, it was the perfect machine. The Harley was loud, hot, lots of vibration, bad handling/performance when compared to the ktm, but it had a lot of character, and it made it an unique experience. I'm comparing apples to oranges, but I do miss the Harley more than the ktm.
I personally don’t like the look of the rogue but I love the scout bobber twenty, which I own. The rogue looks good I will admit but it’s style doesn’t agree with eyes because I love the look of base bobber and the twenty. But I can see why many people would like the rogue
I like this bike alot, How ever I have to look at the Triumph Bobber as well. What do you think about the windscreen? Does it make any kind of wind protection, or will the air come right in the helmet?
Great review Chris! Seen many complaints with the seat and the shocks on the Scout Bobber, does the Rogue have a much different set up? And what brand are those motoshoes?
Good review. I love my Softail Street Bob for very similar reasons. We’re not all race-track refugees or pretend adventurers who ride to Tesco and back 😄
No no no.. I bought my M1800R and tuned it to do absolutely awesome powerslides and to piss off no good riders on 600 super sports. Which it did. You figured this cruiser thing all wrong. :D
Beautiful bike, my misses has a scout icon and I have a chieftain, so we love Indian, but couldn’t they have put some black levers on a murdered out bike?, come on Indian haha 🇦🇺🍻🍻
I respect the bike and the attitude, love for all bikes.......... But as soon as I saw that road, I wanted to hop on to a Superduke 1290 🤣 To an extent, seeing how quickly the pegs go down, it could almost be dangerous, even at the speeds you're supposed to be riding it. But seriously, fantastic review!
Chris try the 2022 FTR carbon for a review if you get chance ,it’s a different animal now with the road braised wheel sizes it’s a proper smile machine that not a lot of people get , always look forward to your reviews by the way they always come with a real world perspective
@@Ferraiolo_1 it’s just something can see Chris doing for shits and giggles. Not to mention Ide like to see how badly the bike that “puts the sport back in sportster” actually flops on track 😂
Funny how your attitude changes as you mature/age/grow older/get scarred more easily. Like 18 year old Chris I would have pointed and laughed at one of these until a few years ago. But now being 57 (I tell myself its just a number) I can see what Chris is trying to get across, just ride what makes you happy. Others will judge you but so what? HD have traded on that for years and are, to the best of my knowledge the only manufacturer whose bike values increase after purchase. No I don't understand it either and personally not my thing but I no longer laugh at those who choose that route to happiness.
Yup! Order a Bobber in April, was told I'd get it end of May. I finally got word directly back from Indian with my order#, won't see the bike until mid Aug !!!
I really like attitude that Chris projects in his reviews.
Agree 100%. He is not a poser. Very cool, straight-forward talking guy.
Best review I've ever watched. And there's a ton out there. His intro alone made complete sense and I subscribed right away.
So nice to watch a video showing the bike instead of yet another POV view of the handlebars.
I bought a used Scout four years ago and I still can't get rid of the smile I have every time I get on and off of it!!
After having Scout Bobber you will feel like a KING in your locality.
And the speed and features are GREAT.
❤❤❤❤
This man is a gem! ❤️
0:25: "get on and ride it - simple as that" AMEN to that, bro!! Hallelujah !!
..........on the other hand 0:59: simple as - let the bike do the talking ! why overdub an Indian?? are you out of your mind ??
A great no-fuss review from a guy who knows what riding is really about
Hard to see these days. He's a Jem!

Chris is my favorite bike tester ever!! His riding skill is amazing
7:29 this would be a perfect wallpaper
yeah good shot
100%
Now that was a good honest review. A bike that was just made to ride. Great job this is one of my favorite bikes... 🙏🏾💪🏾❤️
Your reviews are so simple....you are simple man my brother....Simply superb!

Hi, thanks for the feedback. We've just been to the launch of the new Pursuit, video will be up in a couple of days.
Great review. You pointed out my one concern about grinding foot in sharper turns. I hated that about my Sportster.
Great review! Thanks for giving thoughtful and useful feedback instead of just reading off a list of specifications :)

I like how they hung that honking carbuncle of a Hillman Manx radiator on the front...really pretty.
Great review!Keep up the good work!
I'm going to test drive that same bike Saturday. Can't wait

Ist die Rouge auch gut mit Körpergröße 1.90 gut zu fahren ?

“Pretend adventurers” love it! Adventure bikes are the SUVs of the bike world😀
@@markwat5958 I completely get your point but I cannot completely agree with the SUV thing. Take a look at the Africa Twin ride they just uploaded.

Only thing I'd change is slightly lower bars. Beautiful bike.
You can upgrade the suspension and the exhaust also a bigger faring
Can you get mid controls for this bike?
Beautiful video. How tall is he?
What's the top speed of this bike?
Now THAT’S a review 🥂
Thanks for the info and great video!
Now what bike is this 0:18

Fantastic review. Thank you very much
The model shown here has the piggy back remote res. rear shocks - I don't think they are stock.
Hi, how tall are you? Thanks.
P.s. great review.
Cheers, Chris is about 5,8.
Cool informative video.

He's done that one already.
@@watster where was I 7 months ago ? Missed that one must have been out thrashing 🤪
@@andrewjohnson4475 That's a good reason! 😀
So when are we gonna see you try to take a Sportster S on track?
Why? it has close to the same lean angle as this scout. it will be dragging parts everywhere.
@@Ferraiolo_1 it’s just something can see Chris doing for shits and giggles. Not to mention Ide like to see how badly the bike that “puts the sport back in sportster” actually flops on track 😂
@@Ferraiolo_1 also the sporty has 5 degrees of lean angle on the scout. Not enough to make a huge difference. But it’s there
Couldn't live with that cast headstock though.
Cracking bike 👌🏻
Good vid
Nice review
Nice
Nice 👍
Anybody know if the vans and Hines twin slash mufflers would fit this motorcycle?
They fit the 2021 icon, I’d say yeah mate
Great review. Is the locality you are riding in Cumbria, please?
Isso que é moto!
Do a tuareg 660 review!

looks like octane
Absolutely Chris is a Gemini 🏍🏍🏍
Essentially no different than every other Scout...
Like the review, hate the bike, does that makes sense?
Sure what don't you like about the bike
Video was sponsored but still got an ad at 1:06. Literally a minute in. Just saying
The 1:06 ad are the sponsors.
This thing will get scraped to oblivion in mountanious hair pin turns
PL4Ndemic
Come and get one? Do you know that Indian Showrooms are EMPTY!
Try Robinsons the Foundry in Canterbury.
Yup! Order a Bobber in April, was told I'd get it end of May. I finally got word directly back from Indian with my order#, won't see the bike until mid Aug !!!
I'll keep my 83 Goldwing....
Very cool, thanks for sharing
I'm actually going to throw up if I see another matte black bike. Disgusting GARBAGE.
