Yes, due to a promise TTI made with the film distributor, the existence of the pit viper was a secret until the first trailer for JW4 was released. The Sand Viper is essentially the same design, but with a different finish and sight, so it did not break their promise. It is a very, very nice handgun!!

Get a ds9. You won't be disappointed not to mention the phenomenal customer service Phil and the team offer. I put 25k rounds before it broke, sent it in for warranty work, received essentially a whole new gun 2 weeks later. Not to mention the cost of the mpa is a fraction of the tti. Mpa=hand fit and crafted firearm made nearly all in house in Ga. Tti= factory made on a line and will not disclose who makes the firearm.
Was the theory that JW was using 9mm Major for a flash bang effect? Bc the utility made little sense. They went from JW having Scavenger Pro on scooping Glock mags to a 2011.
@@TheGentlemanGunnerCool, but in context of the JW world a 2011 made little sense. I was hoping the 9mm Major angle had something t9 do with the legions of full armor dudes he was drilling down in waves. Maybe there was some deal that he could bludgeon dudes wearing armored evening formal wear.
In the movie he takes the slide off , then proceeds to stab the guy with the fangs. It was awesome!!! Near the end on the stairs scene. Took me three views to see it lol 😂

@@TheGentlemanGunnerI’m glad we shot Saturday. It dried out alot over the night and Saturday day. The staff was awesome!! Thank you, I had a couple errors but I’m blaming that on “getting used to a new gun”

So… from a source… people have shot 9Maj through one of these and it was fine. But I wouldn’t run it with the springs that come with it.
