I really like those specific crassulas, though I've heard they are a more difficult species to keep. I hope you can get it restarted. The plant still seems healthy at least. It stands a good chance with your care.
I just had the same issue and I'm not an over water. Anyway, I hacked mine up and fingers crossed one of those cuttings will throw out roots. Thanks for sharing. Now I'm off top find your update on this! Lol
Oh dear. :/ Well it looks like you caught it really early and the plant still looks very healthy. I will keep my fingers crossed for you that it grows roots quickly. :)
Looks like you caught it in time! I don’t have a crassula-not sure if it would do well here-the humidity is high most of the year! I’m sure yours will be fine with the attention you’re giving!
Crassula Buddha's Temple and Fungus..... Welcome to the club Marija. Honestelly? I am geting tired of them. A few months ago l bought 5 pieces at once. One is in heaven allready. I notice one thing. They were all a bit etiolated just like yours is. A few days after that l bought them, l bought another one from someone else. And this one was compact. No etiolation at all. this last one is doing grrrrrrrrrrreat. UNTIL NOW, cause it can change at any moment. Believe me l had fungus isues with all 5 but the one that wasn't etiolated. I've seen many UA-camrs with Fungus issues on their Buddha's Temple and l notice that they were all a bit etiolated. Etiolation brings weakness to all kind of Succulents and Cactus. Some of them are strong and will survive that. Some of them are not that strong and the problems will start very fast. I believe Buddha's Temple can't have that.......I move them all to Terracota pots without sealing. I think Terracotta pot is easier to controle watering and helps the roots breath better than Terracotta. Do you have it in Terracotta or plastic? I hope it will be ok Marija. Success
You will see on my video how they are. The part that was etiolated is missing many leaves. Only the top is looking good compact. I am not sure about their future. If they will ever be strong again.
Nilza Suculentas na Holanda yes, fungus is a big problem especially on Crassulas like Buddha’s temple. It’s in the plastic pot and maybe terra-cotta pot would be better. Hope it roots! I’m looking forward to see your video!
Succulent Living by Marija Maybe better to root it as Alex did. It goes faster in water and it would still have time to grow and get strong before the winter comes. However you wanna take a few leaves away and free the stem before rooting in water or in de the pot.... yes, terracotta pots are for sure better. Specially for those species that are weak to stem rot.
Bom dia amiga k pena ,é linda a plantinha bjs
Like 34. I love your intro to this video. You know alot about your succulent. I love that because it helps me learn. Xoxo
Always the special ones that give us problems 😂 But we are not going to give up!
Trong Dinh 😄 yes!
These plants are a pain! :) Good luck with the rooting
I hope it grows new roots. I really like that succulent but have never seen in any of the nurseries around where I live.
Cheryl Breedlove same here! Only way to find them is online and even there it is not available all through the year.
I’m glad that you had noticed this in time👍 Good luck with rooting 🤞🏻

So sad news. I wish it is going to root successfully.
