Thank you for this video, sir! It has helped me as a US grower understanding this plant!
Your very welcome. Glad to hear you found it helpful 😀👍
I love watching your videos, you guys are awesome! All the best! Cheers!
Thank you so much for your kind qords and for following us 😀🙏
So thankful for this video... I have newly aquired this plant and she wont seem to pup for me. So this video was super helpful. Thank you from USA
XXOO Keep up the good work.
Your very welcome and thank you for following us Dawn 🙂🙏 they can take a bit of time to reach a bit of maturity before they pup. Just takes time 🙂
I’d love an updated video on how the propagation is going. I’ve always had trouble keeping the pups alive
Hi Aj, yeah sure, we can do one on these guys sometime soon :D
Trassula buddah temple is very beautiful
Hi Dul, yes it sure is! :) It's such a prolific offsetter :D
Thanks for your great informative videos. I would love to see a video on how and when to propagate from from my crested sunburst aeonium. Thank you
Your very welcome 😀👍 normally for Aeonium you would head chop them. They will be going into dormancy through Summer, best to wait until Autumn to chop, when they grow again 🙂 if you were to cut the crest, chances are the pups may just grow normal.
Thanks Mike, very helpful , I have one I need to do a head chop on. Wish me luck , thanks
Thanks Margaret 😀🙏 hope the chopping of your Buddha's Temple went well 🙂👍
Excelente video.....
Thanks so much! :D
Thanks for the video, look forward to trying this, can you tell me what's in the propagation mix, is it just compost and perlite or gravel?
Your very welcome! :) We just use a commercial succulent mix. It consists of pumice, perlite, peat moss, coir and we add zeolite to it :)
Love watching your videos, learnt a lot! Thank you so much!! I have a Buddha temple, he is not happy at this moment, the root seems dry out and almost gone no healthy roots… the stem are alright, how could I save him? Thank you so much!
Thank you Ellie! :) You may have to try head chopping it and see if you can strike new roots.
@@mickssucculents Thank you for the kind advice! Cheers and all the best!
Helpful video. Do you think the leaves strike better if they have a bit of stem tissue like Haworthias etc?
Probably, but these guys are pretty prolific offsetters so we do all our propagation from pups or cuttings as its quicker.
Saludos....desde argentina
Sorry I only speak English 🙂
Shoot.. didn’t realize summer dormant
If it's cool enough, they should still grow and propagate well 🙂👍
Is there a plant that looks the same, but not quite? Mine is stacked the same, but the shape is more.. square. Hard to explain
Kinda like how stack of buttons & Tom Thumb are different
Mine was at a big store, thst mislabels a lot..
There is one called Crassula thyrsiflora sp Capitella that has a similar stacking habit that we grow too 🙂
Just wanted to ask you whether we can propagate it in sphagnum moss like other succulents?
Hi, to be honest I've never tried, but I'm sure it would work.
Mine had root rot i just took off al the leaves up to where the stem looks healthy hopefully i can get it to re root what recomendations can you give me i will let it callous for like 3 days but then what?
If there is enough healthy stem, it should strike new roots. Let it callous for a few days up to a week and then plant into soil and hopefully you will get roots developing 🙂👍
Do you need to water the cuttings to get them to root?
Yes I water mine to keep them moist. The leaves can still take in moisture while they are waiting for roots to develop 🙂👍
Does crassula Buddah’s temple grow fast or slow?
Quite slow sadly :(
Hi can i propagate them in winter as well?
Hi Graham, yes they will still work through Winter. They may just take a little longer to strike roots compared to in Spring 🙂
@@mickssucculents thank you very much 🙏🙏
@@grahamwhitman8605 your welcome 🙂👍
Please where what you put in you succulent mix.
Hi Sharon, we were using our own mix to grow our stock (coir, garden mix, perlite and zeolite), but found that we weren't get fast enough growth and the best quality out of our plants. We now use a commercial mix that consists of pumice, peat, coir, perlite, zeolite and a very small amount of sand.
@@mickssucculents where do you buy it??? Thanks
i try to propagate from leaves and no one getting babys ,i wanna ask you why?no one crasullas from double leavs servaivs even one!!!
Hi Nelly, they can take some time in striking. We find putting them in a dry spot, where they don't get a lot of water works well and also they are in growing season now, which does help :) Hope that helps.
So they getting brown because of to much Sunlight ?
Yes that can happen. Takes a little while to get them in the right position. Rust, which is also a browning, can be from being in a high humid area. Ventilation will help prevent this 🙂👍
