Very nice trailer I would be proud to own that. It’s basically new at this point and it should have no problem for 4 years. Even then you can get a brand new unit on this box and keep it going for another 5 years until the insulation wears out.
That unit is going to have a tough time in the summer when it warms up with smaller loads but for now it’ll be good. I’m looking into getting a foldable bulkhead to fit under the trailer. That way I can block off the back of the trailer when I’m left with a couple pallets at -10 and the unit is going crazy keeping the trailer cold. It’s a couple hundred pounds but worth it’s weight in gold if you’re stuck over the weekend on a weird load.
Appreciate the set of videos you did. When it comes to different unit's, which do you prefer and why. Oppose to other's. That might be to much to write back with. Maybe it can be a video where you talk about the different unit's etc.

Units last a long time. Under 10,000 hours is pretty good. 15k to 20k Around there start expecting to replace a compressor soon. Regular servicing goes a long way.
Probably a battery powered forklift had a leaky battery and the driver didn’t notice the acid on the floor and it ate through the aluminum before it was washed.

Yeah, I don't haul a ton of frozen. Mostly 34 degree loads

Good deal on trailer. What what would be acceptable hours on a used unit?

@@DIYSEMI For quality and good repair time would be a thermo king or a Carrier? As for as trailers go my own opinion I guess would be a Great Dane.
@@dogman807 I prefer a Dane with a carrier unit
What length trailers do you use in the usa ....in the uk its 45ft ...enjoyed watching
Mostly 53 ft. Some applications use shorter trailers though
Congratulations on your new trailer. Thank you for the education. Good Luck!🇺🇸
What would they be hauling to cause corrosion only in certain spots?
Probably a battery powered forklift had a leaky battery and the driver didn’t notice the acid on the floor and it ate through the aluminum before it was washed.
probably from meat blood. then getting an acid wash out. maybe acid pooled in those spots....who knows
Sometimes companies take weird back haul loads and you can get a container of acid that leaks.
You can't really say you didn't negotiate on price, as the things they fix/replaced would have cost you money had they not done it.
That's true
Is thermoking sb 120 any good? 25k hours
Yes a in tk sb210 is a good u it. Those hours are on the high side . Check it over good
