My favourite couple at the beginning of the video. She made dua for me when I was pregnant loved her since then. Couldnt tell her I had a son I hope Allah accepts her dua and my son prospers in the deen. Insha Allah.

nauxsi I’ve been thinking about it these days, about how the Prophet SAW and the first generation of Muslim had no other reference but a few pieces of revelation (in the beginning years) and a corrupt toxic society. Inshallah ! I’m way too privileged now! The resources are all at hand!

The marriage part was only a small portion of it. Besides, there is nothing wrong with happy couples coming out of a world class institution. To reiterate Sh. Abdal Hakim Murad's words: "It's about service from beginning to end. We need to reach out to people, see where they are, help them, be merciful and try to be brotherly not just to the Ummah but to all of Bani Adam." Most people will gravitate to scholars from institutions built on such a vision in a heartbeat.

I remembering the source ,Darul Uloom Deoband.
The CMC seems to consistently feature a certain type of Islamic appearance, a boradly uniform approach to the classical tradition, and doesn't seem to include much diversity of being Islamic or divergent approaches. In this, it seems limited in offering a holistic university experience.
That's surprising to hear...can you elaborate more on what you mean by 'uniform approach'?
@@Muslimah1987 I suppose a part of it is due to the fact that the CMC majorly favors graduates of traditional madrasas. While this is a great policy, it would also be enrichining for the college to equally include graduates from modern western universities as well as perhaps even non-Muslim students of Islamic studies.
Saad Ismail Have you even read the college ethos? Do some research before passing poor judgement. Visit the college campus, ask questions. You “seeming” something isn’t factual. 🤦🏽♂️

A bit random, isn’t this classed as free mixing which is not permitted in Islam?
It's not Haram for men and women to be in the same room so long that no Haram occurs such as touching. There were women companions that were in the presence of the Prophet sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam and also prayed behind the men in jamaa'ah. Many people nowadays came with new ideas that likely are a result of culture or misinterpreted Islamic texts. Don't women go to university in the west and sit in classrooms with men? It doesn't mean they speak to them shamelessly or become best friends with them but simply being in the same room is not Haram.
SpreadingDeen these kind of questions baffle me. Do you really think a Muslim college have no knowledge of haram and halal? As if Shaykh Abdul Hakim Murad who has been studying this deen for decades and know far more than the average person, would not know what he’s doing. There’s a difference between free-mixing in a social setting over pizza and drinks as opposed to men and women being present in the same location to acquire knowledge.

These are traditional Sunni Muslims who follow one of the 4 schools of thought, and some do, follow a Sufi order. There is nothing wrong with Tasawwuf as long as its within the bounds of the Sharia.

Its not about service to ummah or bani adam as).
Islam is about protecting your self from anger of Allah and pleasing him to earn something hereafter.
By you know,doing salah,giving zakah,and servicing parents first and then ummah and bani adam(as).
