What an awesome curriculum, mashaAllah! Our kids are truly in dire need of such an environment with learning as well as becoming virtuous human beings. Alhamdulillah! May Allah swt strengthen and preserve your program.
Learning about Islam, should be fun like this (forget about the essays for awhile 😂). When we can took hikmah (lesson) from simply activities, align the mind, body and soul to have connection with Allah.
This is obviously great stuff. I have a suggestion if I may give. It would be a great addition to talk about and incorporate health-conscious diet wherever relevant in your programme. Modern food has made people totally sick in different ways. Too much refined sugar, refined flour, unhealthy fat. Unnecessary refinement of many things in the food industry and then adding many synthetic ingredients. This is a food crisis and therefore a health crisis, and unfortunately Muslims are like anyone else victims of it.
What kept me away from Islam and closer to Christianity was the fact that the concept of love wasn't verbalized at least as much as frequently as in Christianity, but the more I learn about Islam, hadiths, Quran and just Muslims i meet is that they show their face as who they are, and their love deeply embedded in the way they demonstrate their faith, there is this selfless commitment which I first thought was fear but when learning more about God and his attributes according to the Quran I understand that it's just deep humility which you can only get if you truly believe in him. That is what I was missing in Christianity which does speaks of love but forces one in a position of guilt which is an easy emotion to experience and then move on from without genuine transformation specially if you're forgiven (and even assured salvation) the first moment you have that guilt, which is of course also the moment you first believe Jesus Christ actually died for your sins, which is also a big issue to me within Christianity.
