I just discovered this as well.
I remember when I found out how to do that, I finally didn't have to reload saves whenever NPC'S got in my way while I tried to kill things. With nocturnal's cowl, you can literally kill people right in front of the guards, take the cowl off, yield and they'll leave you alone.

That is a very reasonable reason to crash a game.

EvilDevilCry1 100% chameleon, 250 ft life detect, water walking, night eye, water breathing and 500 hours logged....good times, good times. I really hate how they didn't bring Life Detect in Skyrim. Best enchant ever.

Added "under" to the title, hopefully that sorts out confusion! This is meant to be a tutorial on HOW to beat Oblivion in 10 minutes, not a 10 minute video beating Oblivion, if that makes sense.

Reneloth It takes a really long time tho. Its better to get the Thief stone and go to High Hrothgar and power level there.
no, is faster, it only takes long after like, skill level 50, even then it is still fast, i go legendary and do it like 4 times to level 48, much faster than Hrothgar
Judas Silverstein Remember though, you forgot to say get the 1st sneak perk, lol, it is also great for getting up 1 handed, not as fast, but helps. whack him for a bit, increase 1 handed to level then get 1st sneak perk, then whack his back in sneak, so simple,

There's plenty to go on with with Dark Souls 1;
Duke skipping will glitch summoning for the Seath boss fight,
Tumble buffing,
Item duping,
Being below Sens Fortress,
Jumping out of bounds near the entrance to the Dukes Archives.
Vinyl_Frost Good list... the only one i could consistantly pull off was Duke Skip :)
UnliterateDyslexic There may not be that much to do with glitches in Dark Souls, but there's plenty of those in Demon Souls. Most specifically, the infamous item duplication glitch that makes the game so much easier. lol

For those wondering how this glitch was even discovered, just go take a look at glitched Morrowind speedruns. Then you'll be questioning reality.
To skip the tutorial, I always make a permanent save right before you leave the sewers, so I don't have to go through it again.
That's what I did with Skyrim. I kept the autosave that happens right after you get off the carriage at Helgen

man i know a lot of oblivion glitches like the paint brush glitch and an exploit with the Clavicus Vile quest that lets you complete the game at level 1 which normally you need to be level 2 to get a daedric artifact. but i did not know about clipping through the walls to escape the sewers. You are the true glitch champion, and i salute you.

i legit played this game for over 1000 hours.....and i have not yet seen that 1 glitch
i could write a NEW page of the glitch wiki of oblivion to count all the glitches i discovered.
i do know the glitch of skipping the class.

You can't kill him before that unless you cheat.

This is really cool though, I think you can also glitch the game in this fasion by dropping paint brushes. The paint brushes in this game arent affected by gravity so you could build your way up the white gold tower hop in go through that door and be good to go, the clip way is a lot faster though.
This glitch took so long for me but it was so satisfying when I got it

Hay - have you ever gotten out of having to do your character past the race in Morrowind? My husband showed me that you can clip the wall with the tree before the office.
It's pretty funny to run around with no class- or health, stamina, or magic gauge and no character menu whatsoever!

if you are on pc you can hit ~ and type tcl to turn off collision and fly through any walls you want then to return to normal just type tcl again in the ~ window

TanKer BloodBrothers I plan to! Starting with Oblivion because it's the one with glitches I'm most knowledgeable about, but the response to Elder Scrolls seems really positive so I'll definitely do more games! I wasn't sure if people would respond well considering I do mostly Nintendo games.
TanKer BloodBrothers Oh also, yup basically a Glitchfest speedrun! You can check out actual speed runs doing it in about 5 minutes. I actually talked with a bunch of speed runners with this, they helped me out. The tactics used are altered to be as easy as possible, this is more about having fun / showing off to your friends rather than trying to get super fast speed runs. @scykoh you also teach the glitch lvling in obilivion by have a testing toon and another toon wgos ready to level (the one we well be sleeping to lvl) but right before we wake up on the one whos ready to lvl we load up the tester toon and tahdah your tester lvled up
I remember there is another glitch similar to this one to compete the game.Before you get to the temple district, dupe yourself lodes of paintbrushes. People that know this game know that paintbrushes float for some unknown reason. Anyways, use the paintbrushes to build yourself a staircase to the top of the temple, then you can jump through the roof. Then you just go to the door in the floor and do the same process. It's more time consuming then the above glitch, but it can be fun :p
