- Like any good meal, TF2's magic spells are greatly enhanced by spaghetti, spices, and a refreshing can of soda. Except in this case, the spaghetti is only figurative and the soda is radioactive. Well, it still makes for a fun strategy! For those of you who aren't aware, spells are affected by mini-crits for some reason. While this wouldn't matter if there wasn't a class who could become mini-crit boosted on demand, it just so happens that there is one of those! Or three, technically, but the Buff Banner and Cleaner's Carbine proved much less interesting to do it with. (And no, you can't cast spells while under the Buffalo Steak effect, I already tried that too.)

This video made me realize the reason the short circuit projectile can't be crit boosted but _can_ be mini-crit boosted is because it's taken from a halloween spell, which has the same properties when it comes to mini-crits and crits.

So according to my analysis, this video, at minimum, took a week to record/edit, because I recognize 8:23 from your spell tier list video, where you spycheck a scout, bump into a spyro, and then blow yourself up. Also the spy was wearing a miles edgeworth thingy.

Unrelated but the bot problem actually sort of make it easier for me to complete contract on some specific maps(koth_mapleridge), and the strategy is basically
1. bonk scout
2. Drink bonk to avoid place where bot can see you
3. Go to underworld
4. Stay there until you got minify
5. Use minify right before you leave underworld
6. Just throw whatever spell you got at bots(best ones are actually skeleton surprisingly)
7. Repeat
This actually makes it extremely easy to topscore over the bots

It's got some niche uses if you're clever, like each use heals 25 health. 50 health in a pinch is nothing to sneeze at tbh

Mini crit boost negates the blast damage falloff so you are dealing max damage doubled. this works with all the pumpkin bombs
Misinformation. Minicrit boost is 1.3 times damage and only removes distance falloff and rampup, not blast radius falloff. It's just that the fireball spell has no blast radius falloff to start with.
I wiped out an entire team by summoning a mini monoculus in one of those hell stages. Felt 20% bad about it.

On this topic here's a little funfact: The fireball/meterior shower projectile will actually take on the purple trail (but only the trail, not the pumpkin explosion) of the pumpkin bombs vanity weapon spell if your holding a weapon with said spell while casting the spellbook. It doesn't impact gameplay but it's a fun little oddity I discovered.

The gas passer applies a debuff to enemies, not a buff to the player.
@@badideagenerator2315 ah that distinction makes sense. but i actually think that would be a good overhaul to the gas passer. having it buff teammates in its area of effect rather then debuff enemies

I don't know about tomfool as a verb but tomfool can be a noun or adjective as in "that there Jimmy joe bobson is definitely a tomfool" and It is basically the same as just calling them a fool.

If medic gives you crits the spells crit?
Spells that last longer than the crit o cola (monoculus and skeletons), do they still deal extra damage after the effect has ended or do they deal normal damage after the effect is over? Also does this work for other mini crit effect givers like buff banner and steak sandwich?
They switch back to normal damage after the effect ends.
With the Skeletons, Wouldn't it theoretically be better to run Buffalo Steak instead? Since that's roughly double the duration of the Crit O Cola.
I know Grinding for Spells as Heavy would be mote tedious, But you would have a much larger window to do it at least
