funnily enough, it kinda was. the rockets still only do bullet damage on a direct, so splash damage beyond close range is minimal, and at close range, you do insane self-damage.
I've only been able to get on this server a grand total of one time and during my playtime my Sniper's SMG loaded like the Beggar's Bazooka and unleashed a stream of flares everywhere. It was delightful.
i am going to be honest: that scout pistol with fire on hit sounds like an actual fun weapon to have in scouts arsenal to run with the sun on a stick too
I thought of the idea before, the “set fire on hit” attribute would have to have a limited range or else whatever class that has such a weapon would be too sniper-y.

That flamethrower was like a wounding flamer I got in fo4. It did like 25 bleed dmg per hit and could shred deathclaws (the strongest non boss enemy in fallout) in like 3 seconds.

This video has made me discover a weapon i desperately want to see; a minigun for the heavy called the Meditank. It heals both teammates and enemies for 5 hp each hit that lands. It also makes the heavy slightly faster in general(on wearer?) and revving/firing slows the heavy down less. Yes, it heals both; that's the main drawback in my eyes, the fact that you can heal your opponent by mistake. In my eyes, it gives heavy a new playstyle as a faux medic while still leaving a damage option in his secondary. You could make it some sort of healing shotgun instead, but i think id prefer the minigun slot doing this. But hey, i dont play TF2 often, nor am I good at it. I wouldn't know balance if it was placed on my head, so maybe yall would have some better ideas for a healer heavy weapon?
