This is a great overview, one that gave me great inspiration to my multi-planar campaign! It's a long quest to find 7 components to a calamity-saving weapon and each component was hidden in 7 different planes, one of which, is Shadowfell. With the help of your overview, I have many interesting ways the party can recover the artifact they need. They could align with Orchist, Vecna, the Raven Queen, or none and attempt a heist of sorts, all the while having their souls fed upon as they traverse the lands never to be the same again.
