Yep. You’re not the only one to say the same. Wheels are subjective, but I could think of a couple others. Maybe a Halibrand Sprint wheel. I like wheels the capture the “period or time” of the vehicle. Thanks for watching. I about to release a video of a one of one SUV from USSV (probably Saturday). Check it out.
For me I would opt. for Cragar Series 614 S/S: 18 in x 8 in. or 6 in. in the front and 18 in. x 10 in. in the rear, also paint the tail gate plate around the Dodge name the same color as the roof, instead of chrome of silver, and black out the rear window frame. This is one of the best 71 Dodge trucks out there, gorgeous Thanks
I had a 71 Adventurer SE, it came with a 383 auto and that fake vinyl top. It also said Johnny lighting special on the sides. The original owner I bought it from said it came that way and was used at the Indy 500 since the pace car was the Challenger. I had it for several years, it ran like a scolded dog with the 3.55 sure track. The straight axle steering wasn't the greatest. Cool to see one fixed up like this.
Very! I bet that HEMI screams. Also, I saw a Iconic Shelby Cobra in my gym parking lot the other day and left a note asking to video it. He replied, “yes”. I will fix it in July. I hope he takes me out in it and scares the crap out me. Lol.
I have a 1971 with 8000 miles all plastic still on the Seats Floors Everything is 100 💯 percent original and still brand new with the factory bed cap,Im asking $60.000 Canadian Dollars,This Is As New As It Was In 1971 100 percent original and original owner
@scottsgaragehtx439 yes me too I will like to put some type of retro wheels to fit the era of the truck better..I have an 05 ram srt10 and a 86 ramcharger but I'm looking to get a dodge truck from the 70s to 80s
Man! I totally agree. I’ve noticed that I’m breathing so hard. I takes away from the video in my opinion. I think I need to concentrate on breathing through my nose. And maybe move the mic away from my collar. I’ve got a cool ac cobra to preview soon and we will see if I improve. Thanks for the tip.
I'm glad they kept the chrome bumpers and vinyl top. 👍
Agreed. I may have done a different wheel, but wheels are so subjective.
With your breathing you'd think there's a 14-71 on it lol I'm jk beautiful truck
Fantastic! Great to see the old Mopar trucks done up too. Always lots of love for the Fords and Chevys but you just don't see as many of these.
Beautiful good to see something a little out of the ordinary 👌🇦🇺
Really amazing. Those wheels would have to come off for me but the rest is just fantastic.

do you know if those cup holders are hand made?
Hello. Yes, they had to fabricate them. The welds look great.
❤
I will like to know if that truck is for sale
He has lots of cars, but I think this is his favorite for obvious reason. I would change the wheels. What do you think?

I'd put old school torque thrust dark grey spoke wheels on and call it good.
I have a set of those, but only the Torque Thrust II. I guess they are the modern version. How hard is it to get old school originals?
@@scottsgaragehtx439 they are still making them, unfortunately they are made in china. You can get them from summit or jegs.
Absolutely love the pickup buuuuuut..... not a big fan of the wheels nor their size.👍
Hello. Thanks for watching. That has been a common comment on the truck. I agree with you too.
Way too much rim... Kinda ruines it. Love the rest of it though
A Dodge what?
I would lose the drug dealer wheels and put something on more period correct
Bruh slow down why you breathing so hard for

Dude what’s with the breathing do you and this truck need a minute
Hehehe. Yep!!! I think a breath through my mouth too much. Plus the mic is right under my jaw.
Too bad, a Dodge dropped with fugly wheels and tires.
Taste for various wheels and tires are definitely diverse. If I were to change anything on the the truck it would the wheels. Any suggestions?
@@scottsgaragehtx439 polished Torque Thrusts no larger than 20 inches.
@@scottsgaragehtx439 I think the ride height is perfect though.
Stupid looking wheels just slow it down ..!
lol. That shop did good work though.
