This song brings back so much memories. When I was going to college I spent more time on this game than I did in class lol Out of all the MMO's I've played, this battle was the most special for me. I'm a working man now, but hearing this song brings back such fond memories. Oh the good ole days.....
hmmm sweet but it really lacks of punch and heartpounding intensity of the game's version. the game version really made you feel like you were in deep sh1t and sure enough the fight's difficulty equaled the intensity of the music
It's missing Mizuta's signature synthetic and rhythmic bass lines found in pretty much all of his songs. The original Fighters of the Crystal had a 200 BPM bass line in the background which adds a "heart pumping" feeling to it. That guy really loved bass lmao, accompanied by a slow and symphonic build-up It is what separates him though from other composers.
This thumbnail feels way ahead of its time
100% me going into ffxiv's new raid and seeing the jump squad i was like oh boy.
You will be overwhelmed by the sounds that surround you...
Just love the Mithra with the "joint"
