This video started as a initial thoughts video but turned into a review video concluding 6 months later as I'd originally messed up the the end. Thanks all.
Hey Owen! Really enjoying the channel. Recently subscribed and watching through the video content. Great variety, camping, hiking and biking. It's all very enjoyable. Hope you and your family are all well and looking forward to another warm season of outdoor exploring. Thanks!!
Another great video!! Loving the content 🥰 also like the music when setting up. I really liked the stove and that meat was looking delicious!!! Till the next one, cheers 🍺
I have yet to find a thin, flat pack style wood stove that doesn't warp. Thankfully titanium is easier to work with than stainless in that regard. The only ones (steel or titanium) that don't warp in my experience are the cylindrical ones, but that takes away from the whole flat pack appeal.
Mild steel and stainless steel warp aswell depending on the thickness of the material and amount of concentrated heat. I like the stove its a decent size but I would prefer a fold up. The search continues 😂🤣👍 Great to see you out enjoying yaself mate 😘
Hello there. I just use it as a table to keep the fire off the ground, but you can use the stove on the ground. I hope that answers your question. If not let me know 😁
Hey, yeah you're right, its not really for that, but it would still probably warp after an hour or two. I still use this stove and the warping doesnt really matter. Its a good stove for the price. cheers
@@AlbionCamping The real problem I see, from a backpacking perspective, is adding doubling the weight of other products just so it can be stable, since it's not particularly solid without locking into that base. Unnecessary weight to compensate for a less than ideally constructed product. Appreciate the video and response.
Good piece of kit. Cheers for sharing. Atb.
Cheers Grays, I both love and hate it. Atb bud 😊

Cheers Ant. Yeah a fold up one of this size would be great, sounds expensive though 😂👍

First time I've seen one of ya'lls videos. Have subscribed & will be back. Stove looks if e.
Thanks Allan, that's awesome :) the stove is a bit warpy, but isnt too bad for the size and price, I'm still using it. all the best, owen
The plate under the stove is important?
Hello there. I just use it as a table to keep the fire off the ground, but you can use the stove on the ground. I hope that answers your question. If not let me know 😁
@@AlbionCamping Thank you, I thought without the plate there might be a risk that something would burn.
Is warping a surprise if you burned a fire in it for 13 straight hours? That's really not what these are meant for.

Interesting that your alcohol burner never bloomed before you got a boil. Is that usual?
think that's just how those stoves are tbh 😎
Homemade coffee can stove achieves the same effect minus the price!
Good call!
