I like this woman’s style of dressing, with the white collars on her dresses. I may have to be in a more conducive surrounding to begin slowly absorbing these lessons properly, but I would gladly learn from such a person, she is very friendly, and kind, so easy to learn from. God bless
I just started to learn French on my 2 hour commute with with an app. I like to watch videos like this also. Yours is the only one I have subscribed to!
Can i just say how wonderful you are. I have always wanted to learn a language and been one of those men who said i wish i knew French. This comes from when i lived with my mother and we met a English lady who had been living in france for 10 years and 2 weeks before my gcse in French helped me to learn the basics but more than this she installed a love for the French language as i saw the passion she had for it. Now i am 41 and made the decision to actually put the effort in and commit. i am using duo lingo at the same time as i discovered this before you. Can i just also say how well structured your lessons are and how fantastic you are as a teacher. I think what you have done is amazing and you have made my learning so much fun and i am committed to your learning too. You make sense, make things easy and have a great smile :) Thank you for producing all your videos and lessons from Byron (Leicester England)
Until they look at you and reply 'oui?!', like they cannot believe you just said 'yes' to whatever they'd just been saying. You could laugh, look sheepish and quickly reply 'non?', but they will probably have sussed you don't understand much of what they've just said... I've been there!
The Francophone world says “goodbye” in many different ways; I knew some African French speakers who would leave by saying, “Moins un”. Thank you for all the work you put into these videos.
Bonjour! I am going to France in May. I'm trying to learn some basic French. Having learned some Spanish I am constantly trying to pronounce words they way the Spanish do. I am so excited to come to Paris. I have a lot to learn. Merci!
Can we also say " comment dit ton" ? And also the sentence to survive lot of conversation in French for me has been je sais or oui or vraiment or je content pour toi or je suis desolé
je voudrais savoir comment dire en francais GOD BLESS YOU? Et encore comment dire take care of your self? keep in touch ? merci beaucoup pour vos efforts
Bonjour Geraldine , I am happy I discovered your channel the other day. Utube l'autre journée (I am sure i made lots of mistakes😊😊) Blossom
Yha... Thank you so much.... I use to watch your videos again and again...... But learning French is important.... But the more important is to know the behaviour of the French peoples.... As it's difficult for us to deal with French people...... As they seems different... Or we have lack of knowledge about them....... So can you please explain us that... As.. that is the most important thing....... That's all..... Merci beaucoup.....
L K Is English your native language? You mustn't be from the south with grammar that poor. In all seriousness, while she does speak English very well, you don't have to put down others when you make a compliment. That's completely unnecessary and downright ugly.
Hello to the community, HELP!! I am searching for the French Translation, for the English term " Loud Voice" All help will be welcomed and appreciated.
How about 'Partir, c'est mourir un peu' as a poetic goodbye? OK, maybe that's a bit of a downer. :) If you don't want to say 'Je déconne' you could maybe say 'J'ai dit ça pour rire'. I've heard French people say that when something that I thought was serious, wasn't! Or 'Je te fais marcher', though I don't know whether that's polite.
I can see the passion and compassion in you’re teaching . Really heartwarming to be in your class . Je suis content
This all is so helpful and great! 👍 🙏
This video is so good! And you are a fantastic teacher!

You are the best French teacher, ever!
À Paris last month, I just started avec bonjour, I toujours got nice response and the help I needed:) Bonjour et au revoir are magic words.
The best one when you're lost in a conversation is: "C'est pas faux" and it match with the "tu as raison" too.
Perceval approved. ;)
oh que oui !
Merci beaucoup Madame Geraldine, c'est super basic leçon français
You are a nice teacher

Until they look at you and reply 'oui?!', like they cannot believe you just said 'yes' to whatever they'd just been saying. You could laugh, look sheepish and quickly reply 'non?', but they will probably have sussed you don't understand much of what they've just said... I've been there!

Perhaps because of its too noisy around
The Francophone world says “goodbye” in many different ways; I knew some African French speakers who would leave by saying, “Moins un”.

Moi c'est le contraire
Bonjour et merci Géraldine ! Your classes are très cool 👍 💕

Bonjour! 'bear with me I am still learning!!!' :) c'est quoi en francais?!! Merci
Can you give a lesson on expressions of annoyance e.g. “n’importe quoi!” Or “j’en ai marre!”
Faint with your breakfast croissant in hand! 🤣🥐
I know it made me want a croissant too.
Your French accent is excellent.
Peux-tu me passer du _____? Can you pass me the _____? So useful at the table!
I tried to speak French to ppl in France..... I said Bonjour.... In return I got a dumb stare and poor English... I tried. I ain't get no super! Lol.
Tankist It's a game then really. The point is if you just keep replying in french they will end up "losing" and replying in french too.
Merci
When you speak both English & Spanish, you have a hard time trying to say things in French using less words!
Merci!
Merci 🙏✨
Do the French drop ‘ne’ from negatives in conversation? So, is it better to say ‘J’ai pas compris?’
I love this channel, it’s so useful!!! does anyone know of a spanish equivalent?

search for "Butterfly Spanish" Olivia. cheers
Don’t learn French and Spanish at the same time. The languages have so many words in common that you’ll end up getting confused. At least I did.
It is actually super easy don't mention it hard its super easy to learn French
Yha... Thank you so much....
I use to watch your videos again and again......

I tried to speak French to ppl in France.come from China, I said Bonjour.
Merci beacoup
I think the most helpful expression was: "Je n'ai pas compris que tu m'a dit."
She even has outstanding English that surpasses most Americans living in the southern United States :)
L K Is English your native language? You mustn't be from the south with grammar that poor. In all seriousness, while she does speak English very well, you don't have to put down others when you make a compliment. That's completely unnecessary and downright ugly.
The hard Truth that's rude. Why are people so mean
@@mindywyse9515 because they feel inferior. The Yankee accent is like nails on a chalkboard. I'd hate myself if I spoke like that too.
Aimee Ward what?
My first time here great lesson and your very beautiful!
I like "the work is small and life is longg!"
It's The world* but yeah it's a nice saying
I'm just chinese, not German, huh...
Hello to the community, HELP!! I am searching for the French Translation, for the English term " Loud Voice" All help will be welcomed and appreciated.
Hi I want to learn French can someone help me please
Nice telephone.
J'espère pouvoir dire 'Je t'ai pas dit ? J'ai réussi le DELF' 😂
Super ! C'est chouette ! Je suis trop contente pour toi ! :)
Tu as raison
For me, the most useful expression is, "Je pige que dalle." Heureusement, je comprends de plus en plus.
David Guy "dalle"? traduct svp :)
Moi, j'adore ça!
Je ne sais pas... est une bonne option pour dire 'I don't know'
How about 'Partir, c'est mourir un peu' as a poetic goodbye? OK, maybe that's a bit of a downer. :)
If you don't want to say 'Je déconne' you could maybe say 'J'ai dit ça pour rire'. I've heard French people say that when something that I thought was serious, wasn't! Or 'Je te fais marcher', though I don't know whether that's polite.
Is it ok to say 'comment' when you don't quite hear or understand something? I hear the French say it all the time but think it sounds impolite ??
Excusez -vous, je peux parler en francais?
Why "je suis trop contente" but not "je suis très contente"?
I asked myself the same
