Simplex Metal Detector Beach METAL DETECTING | LIVE DIGS Short Treasure Hunt | MEH Kind of Day?

Hey everybody, this was just a short live dig session out at the beach with the Nokta Simplex a couple days before the Legend arrived... nothing crazy just looking for the jewelry or coins in the dry sand.. can he score us any silver or gold or will it be a MEH kind of day? I actually do really like the Simplex on the dry sand! Always love swinging on the beach... too bad there's lots of BOOTY
What settings do you run on your Nokta Makro Simplex on the beach if you have one?

live digs are great, you give some good feed back and info. With my just getting the simplex i like when you show the VDI's and the targets that follow because it helps me learn when i can go out and dig on my own. Currently I stay on Park 1 though because that all I've hit up so far. But Also when you do a video with jumping to each dig when you find something generally means you are finding a lot more in the video. So i think your on track and just going back and forth depending on how your feeling. Great video as always dude!

Park 1, sensitivity down 1 bar. May need to try your settings though. I like the tones in Park 1. Congrats on the ring and earring!

Have to wait on a few more videos on the Legend but it sure was chatty at the beach. I need to start digging iron tones, probably why I find so few gold rings at beach. Only found one and it was 10K which is a lot higher than 14K. Now I see my problem was I was ignoring low tones near iron or a iron sounding. And I hunt a lot. Most guys who hunt as much as me get several gold rings a year I got one in seven years. Thought I just had worse luck. Got to hunt Equinox 800 videos to compare to Legend. If I have to spend a few hundred for a better machine I will gladly if it doesn't falsely tell me there is iron where it's not. Deffinately will be digging iron at the beach now but a chatty machine will have me hunting ghost signals.

I would say the legend is in need of an update for the beach.. at least that's my first impression using it out there. I've never quite found gold that read in the iron range but I've heard some chains can be right on the edge. Most of my gold rings very low though just like a piece of aluminum foil... treasure definitely hides amongst the trash!! Thanks Roger.

Tried to hunt with my new simplex on Anastasia beach and it was tough finding the right settings…

Honestly I've found the Simplex can be a little tough on the beach. It seems to run a lot smoother on the dry sand but if you take it down to the wet sand try these settings... Beach mode + manually turn your GROUND BALANCE down to 0. Also lower your sensitivity a couple levels if it's still noisy. You might lose some depth but it should run a little smother.👍
