Great tips and tricks Adam! Now i now how to get rid of the chatter very easily 👍 Ground balance manually, lower the sensitivity and switch to park mode 2! 👌🏻 Going to help a lot 💪🏼 thank you very much!
Absolutely! Nice relaxing few hours with nothing but the lapping of the ocean and the sea air in your lungs. Nice finds are the cherry on top. Cheers buddy! 😃😎👍🏻
Great video! That’s what always throws me with sand detecting you can spend a good 15mins not getting any signal and think maybe the simplex just isn’t that good but then hit a strong unmistakable signal and faith is restored 🤣
Another excellent video! Instead of bashing any machine other than the Minelab like most videos, you give great advice on using a VLF machine. I basically do the same things with my AT Pro and it works in saltwater conditions as well - sensitivity down and negative ground balance. Im enjoying your channel!
Hi Adam: I keep all the lead fishing weights in a B&Q bucket and sell them to anglers or tackle shops - any 3 for a quid. The photographic quality of your vids is superb. Love 'em.
I'm sure that new pence 1971 is worth a few quid mate, great video and tips on the ground balancing. I'm gonna try them today because automatic was full of chatter for me last night, unbearable tbf. All the best 👍
Hi, That was made by a friend who doesn't make them any more. But if you search on eBay for Simplex screen surrounds or similar there are usually quite a few similar ones on there 👍
Next weekend we have low tides below 600mm on Sat and Sunday late afternoon early evening - headtorch is essential but once u get used to it you have to rely on tones and numbers for finds
Always enjoy these Adam. I too spent yesterday morning on a beach (Essex) digging wet sand with my Ace 250. Much more chattery than your Simplex despite dropping sensitivity very low, and much the same results as you. Great fun though! I get the same problems with the large objects 5 or 6 inches below and wonder if it’s old pipe work? All the best 👍 ps great nod to Remembrance Sunday
Nice one mate, all beaches must be different as I've never taken my Simplex dow from full sensitivity including on the wet but I've never used anything other than beach mode on the beach.
1971 the year that decimalisation came in, so you have found one of the first 2p. I found one in my back garden, found one that had been sold on EBay for 4K - well done you 👍🌈
Nice! Thanks Nicola - I had assumed it was one of the first but didn't mention it on the video as I wasn't sure. I may need to take a glance at eBay then... 🤔😃😎👍🏻
Thanks! Well, I know a lot of people take the handle off but to be honest, it doesn't get in the way and it's quite handy for manoeuvring heavy loads. Better to hold closer to the centre of gravity than a metre away with the main stem. Thanks for watching! 😃😎👍🏻
Hi Natha, I haven't used the Apex personally I'm afraid so can't comment on it. It has a multi frequency function which the Simplex doesn't have, however it isn't waterproof whereas the Simplex is. From what I've seen they are more or less on a par with each other with pros and cons for each so it would depend on the kind of detecting you were hoping to do. 😃😎👍
I took my new simplex to the beach and on the wet sand it went berserk. It was beeping like mad but false signals. Anyone know why? I had it in beach mode too and tried ground balance
You need to manually ground balance to zero on the wet. Try All Metal Mode as well. Beach mode is very limited in terms of tones. Take the sensitivity down a bar as well 👍
Very helpful video, thanks. I`ve had problems on the beach with my Simplex so I will give these settings a go. Cheers
Great hunt, the simplex does well in the wet sand. I use it all the time at the beach. Thanks for sharing!
Well done mate reality of beach detecting. I know those days so well but great when something good pops up. Great way to spend few hours.
Zero chatter ! That's awesome.. thanks for this tip. I was going crazy with it.
Glad you found it helpful! 😃😎👍
A good honest beach hunt. Nice nod to the fallen on Remembrance Sunday.👍

Hey Justin! Thanks you 😊 So glad you found the video helpful 😀
Good luck and happy hunting!
Thanks for the heads up on the settings 😎✌🏽
Im a wet sand geek as well. Very rarely dig anything valuable, but I just love doing it. Me the sand and the oyster catchers...Bliss.
Always good to take a break from the usual and detect on new land (or beach lol). Keeps it interesting and challenging
Enjoyed the video well done on the finds
Real metal detecting! This is what people need to see, it’s not gold and silver every time. Well done on the wet sand the Simplex was silent 👍
Absolutely! Nice relaxing few hours with nothing but the lapping of the ocean and the sea air in your lungs. Nice finds are the cherry on top.

Thanks Scott! Really appreciate the comments and glad you're enjoying the videos! Good luck and happy hunting 😃😎👍

That's the best thing to do with them!
Thanks John! Means a lot to hear that 😃😎👍
You can’t beat a bit of beach detecting lucky I’m only 5 mins away, good video enjoyed

Great video mate
Hi Adam,
Where is the camouflage sceen tape from that you have on your simplex?
Thanks
Tom

Cheers dude! Yeah, you probably don't need to take it down in Beach Mode. I prefer to hear the iron tones which is why I use Park 😃😎👍🏻

Great video, I live beside the River Clyde and my Garrett euro ace is pretty bad on wet sand, should I sell it and buy a nokta simplex?
The Simplex is great on wet sand if you set it up right. The Nokta Legend is even better if you can stretch to it 😊👍
Those large metal areas are so annoying 🤣 nice hunt 👍
Right?! 😃😎👍🏻
Great start to the video pal with the poppy's respect, you won't believe what I found in my first hole you need to watch the video it supprised me.
Keep it up, isn’t the handle on the scoop irritating? Good to see a simplex on the beach and working
Thanks! Well, I know a lot of people take the handle off but to be honest, it doesn't get in the way and it's quite handy for manoeuvring heavy loads. Better to hold closer to the centre of gravity than a metre away with the main stem. Thanks for watching! 😃😎👍🏻
Garrett apex & simplex+ wich better metal detector sir...

How you guys dig wet sand🥵 it fills with water, and I cannot dig fast enough, side’s collapsing in as the depth gets to 8 inches🥴
With a scoop you can ignore the water and just keep going. It is tough but so often worth it!
I wrongly assumed we couldn't beach detect during this lockdown, without checking the NCMD website. Damn!!
At least you know now! Go go go!! ⛱😃😎👍🏻

@@DTEKTSUSSEX thank you very much! :) I will try that next time
Happy to help! Good luck and happy hunting!

Hey guys can anybody out there give me a platinum vdi reading on the simplex? Thanks

My poll ool
Park 1 or Park 2 for beaches
I prefer Park 2 but either would work 👍
