It's nice to see six flags finally branch out and do things to put them up there with other theme parks like disney. I hope this help change the idea of six flags for people and get them to start coming for more than just the rides.
Glad to hear that Six Flags is trying to tweak the looks of the park. Landscaping is important, if only to break up MM's concrete deserts or because lots of trees are needed for shade---Valencia becomes a sauna during the summer. Also, theme parks around the nation & world are really upping their game. What's being built in Orlando right now by Universal is very impressive, & what Disney is building in Tokyo is the same thing. So if SF doesn't want MM to be pushed too far back, they can't be complacent.
Exactly. They need to stay competitive in their own right and the best way to do that is to improve their look. Simple things can make the biggest difference.
Glad you got to experience this! I visited on Friday and loved that it was a chill event. Hardly any waits for food. This festival is an improvement over their previous ones, since this is the first one with dedicated booths, and they really stepped up the food quality. Let's hope they keep this momentum going with even better festivals next year

I've done food fests at BGT, Seaworld Orland, Dollywood and Epcot... SFGrAm is nearly the best and worth the price. #1 is Seaworld, but it cost a more
We saw you in the park and were in the back of one of your tastings. You should have gotten the Piccino Caprese skewers instead of the ravioli. They were much better.
This video idea seems great, but what would have made it better for me was seeing all the foods available at each location, or just seeing the menu close up. Folks like options as well as experience. Also the commentary seemed drawn out and the pacing felt flat. Tighten it up and you’ll have yourself a stellar channel. Good luck.

I know you haven’t been to Disney in a little bit but have you been to the downtown Disney District lately“? they have scaffolding around the sorcerers hat at Disneyland hotel I was just curious if you knew what they were doing with that? sure hope they’re not taking it down! I'm from Northern cali and love to support SFMM (also love SF Discovery Kingdom, my home park). Did the flavors of the world festival last weekend and was VERY impressed! Hope they keep it up and the park continues to grow! Thanks for your coverage!
I can recall a time when Magic Mountain without Six Flags had a lot of good food going on but when Six Flags took over, it wasn’t the same most of the food was a bit disappointing, it’s been a long while since I been there but I’m glad that the food is better and delicious, thanks for posting this.😊

Went to SFMM yesterday 7/8/23. Was really disappointed. 14 rides CLOSED. That's insane, for a Saturday, during the summer break. Supposedly they were having power problems and thats why half the rides were closed. But even the rides that were open, were only operating with one train. Tatsu was a 3hr wait. And it was so hot, Roaring Rapids was a 2 hour wait. X2 was 2hours pretty much the whole day. Twisted Colossus once again carrying the park on its back with great operations. This is my home park and I feel embarrassed if any tourist had a terrible time.
@@seanlewis1148 That would be great. My brother decided to throw on his Karen hat and complain to customer service because he was really mad that everything was closed. Got him and his son vouchers, free tickets. I have a membership so didnt need it. But yeah, at first they were like we will give you a discount for your next ticket purchase, and my brother was like "no, let me speak to the manager", finally the manager gave him free tickets.
Went Saturday and today. It was so disappointing how many rides were closed and down! Also…I rented the $8 transferable locker pass yesterday and the lockers in Twisted Colossus LOST POWER! My stuff was stuck there, and then one time the lockers by Batman doors got stuck and I had to kick it for the door to open. I looked crazy but it worked! Anyways, long story short, they really need to change the name of the locker company…because they are NOT the “Best Lockers.”
My experience this weekend was so frustrating I have half a mind to make my own video on it. 😅 And how to make it right! I bought the flash pass and even that was a irritating experience. I actually really regret not taking their survey. They have so much room for improvement. They’re lucky their rides make up for it though, cuz even with hiccups it’s always 💯 worth it!
I wonder if some of that is because of issues with staffing shortages, maintenance issues or trying to reduce operating costs? Just about every vid of MM posted to YT shows non-SRO-type attendance, & Six Flags needs so many customers per day to cover expenses, much less be profitable

I went on friday and got some chicken wings, a beef shwarna and 2x flights of drinks at the full throttle sports bar. 😎 it was not bad!!! Sooooo surprised!!
