Like I've said in my previous comments. No other channel is sharing great information (Tips and tricks) like you guys are. I'm sure this channel is going to grow tremendously with the great content. Cheers and Happy memorial weekend!
shoot man you can do it in a kayak or a skiff. the side scan is an amazing tool in deeper water around the passes and bridges but beach fishing is mostly gonna be sight fishing cause its shallow that's why you typically see the captains in towers working the beaches. If those fish are not showing (rolling, tail slapping, popping, etc) you might be able to find a large dark spot moving along the bottom and that is what you wanna get in front of or they're daisy chaining (swimming in a circle). For almost 20 years we ran a 1996 20' sea strike and she was nothin fancy but we out fished even a lot of captains some days with their new fancy boats. Recently we finally upgraded and she's got side scan and more of the fancy stuff and it's great but you do not need the fancy shmancy gizmos to catch tarpon. Tarpon fishing is almost entirely technique and experience on the water and even then there's plenty of days where we go home skunked despite seeing fish rolling in front of us all day long.
