@@Grimeyhoob They should stick to writing in their own language as the lyrics just do not make sense in English. They certainly havent a patch on Cradle of Filth's lyrics - which as far as lyrics go in general are some of the best ever written, and not strictly within the genre of Metal either. Say what you want about Dani being a poser, his voice sounding like a cat being raped and the music not being Black Metal (which I dont think they'd dispute), Dani's a *MASSIVELY* talented Poet and lyricist. Show any scholar of the English language worthy of the very name Dani's lyrics (without the music or his onstage/theatrical image/persona) and they'll agree too, I can almost guarantee you that. I know this is a relatively old Dimmu song (I actually bought this album when it came out which proved to be the first and last Dimmu album I'd buy) so maybe their English has improved by now, I dont know. I hope so, because as I said - it just doesnt make sense, or it lacks the substance of imagery and basic poetic devices and just appears hollow to me. Credit where credits due - I like the music though; its well orchestrated and the muscians thenselves are geninely talented. Those background vocals sound INCREDIBLE. Doesnt one of their guitarists play for Cradle now though?

Fuelled by the venom of hatred for man
Consistently, without the eyes to see
By those who revel in sewer equally
We, the prosperity of the future seal
Cloaked by the thunders of the north wind
Born to capture the essence of
The traits of our kind
Discover and conceive the secret wealth
And pass it unto your breed
Become your own congregation
and measure the sovereignity of it's invigoration
We, who not deny the animal of our nature
We, who yearn to preserve our liberation
We, who face darkness in our hearts with a solemn fire
We, who aspire to the truth and pursue it's strength
Are we not the undisputed prodigy of warfare
Fearing all the mediocrity that they possess
Should we not take the bastards down with our might
Reinforce and claim the throne that is rightfully ours
Considering the God we could be without the grace
Once and for all
Diminish the sub principle and leave its toxic trace
Once and for all
It's "revel" not rebel."revel" means something like "celebrate".
Surprisingly redpilled
Yeah , wrong ! It’s REVEL ... trust me bro , just think about the lyric
Pile of shit lyrics
Spasibo .. For This Song...
Masterpiece! Timeless! Amazing!
I love all the music this band makes, hell they can sing gospel music I might go back to church lmfao
É como se fossem de outro planeta!magnífico!
Eu gostaria que o mundo tivesse acabando, vortex tocasse essa parte , é perfeita pra o fim do mundo
Barker Is another level of drummer! 👌
Dimmu Borgir came up as a suggestion when I was listening to her ghost in the fog by Cradle of Filth and I haven't listened to them since High School. It had a bit of a power metal feel when the bassist started singing.
This song sounds to me like somebody sat down and thought to theirself, "I wonder what a metal song fit for a musical would sound like" and then made this master piece
This song is just the epitome of musical perfection, its fucking magnificent
MissMetal23 Nah,many years before they wrote Alt Lys er Svunnet Hen,that is the most perfect musical piece!!
Well, it would be if the entire intro wasn't stolen from Magum's Sacred Hour track.....
MissMetal23 Absolutly

Great comment and true
Still after 20 years one of the BEST songs ever made!!! Mustis and ICS made this song epic!

@Ali Rashid Abdullah Take it Easy Worm..
Discovered this band in my early teens & now, in early thirties, I'm still in love with Shagrath. WTF kind of spell is that?
Spellbound by the devil
Black metal is true Music of Nature🖤🖤
Existance of the most beautiful magical sounds and the genius musicians brutal rage in this music drives me mad in the magical way.
I remember being into this so much in high school that I did my makeup like this during my theater makeup part of class, I walked around campus with death metal face for the rest of the day.
Only one thing to say here: Masterpiece!
Te conosco ace 20 años jajjaj
i want this song to be played when the world finally goes down
Came here because of corona.
Now? Probably?
This, or Puritania
@@mr.paranoiac5082 Definitely Puritania...mixed with some Mourning Palace! LOL
Folks, I love this tune. For me, it's the Main song of Apocalypse, theres no some to be a fieldel of Portrait of Amarggedon. This song changed my conception about of the Norwegian Black Metal. Thanx to Dimmu Borgir, Thanx to Mustiis that composited that State of Art from the Heavy Songs. Hail from Brazil!!!!
Just had the melody of the chorus for this song pop into my head for the first time in about 10 years... Figuring out everything from the small snippet of the melody was utterly brutal... Finding this song again and it's chorus was totally worth it though.
Lyrics
The battle raged on and on
Fuelled by the venom of hatred for man
Consistently, without the eyes to see!
By those who revel in sewer equally
We, the prosperity of the future seal
Cloaked by the thunders of the north wind
Born to capture
The essence of the trails of our kind
Zero tolerance must be issued forth
Behind the enemies line
So it shall be written
And so it shall be done
Zero tolerance must be issued forth
Behind the enemies line
So it shall be written
So it should be done!!!
The battle raged on and on
Fuelled by the venom of hatred for man
Consistently, without the eyes to see

Black Metal is true music of Nature 🖤🖤
So majestic. Like a god damned golden pony.
If I could rencarate into a video of such epicness I'd be one happy deity with this one truly the king of my own little metal collection for life
After all these years, this is still an absolutely epic tune. 🥰
Господи, эти спецэффекты просто восхитительны.
