    Aunque medio mundo los critique por supuesto “nada de sentido en inglés”, en sus letras (cuando queda clara la idea que quieren transmitir, porfavor!) este grupo es una chingonería a nivel mundial porque hasta sin poner atención a la letra, se escucha tan grandioso, tan épico, tan magnificente que digan lo que digan, es la perfección respecto a poder en la voz, guitarras, orquesta de fondo y cualquier cosa q musicalmente hablando nos fascina de este grupo a todos los fans de esta banda y que con la llegada de Vortex, lograron un nivel único de perfecto hasta en sus videos. Para mi y millones, D.B. es la mejor banda de Black Metal Sinfónico y si no les gusta, pues no lo escuchen y ya. Si buscan poesía, vayan a un libro de Allan Poe y no escuchen metal, porque decir que Cradle es mejor, es un insulto a la música en si. I got to see them live at Ozzfest! I had never heard of them before this. We had missed Slipknot and I was kind of disappointed about that. I asked the people I was with "who's Dimmu Borgir?"
    And they're replay was something like "I dunno. Some band from Norway or something"
    Pretty neat stage show. That was a long time ago and I'm still listening to them.

      Dude! Same here! My friends and I were set to see Ozzfest in 04, and my friend told me we have to see this group Dimmu Borgir. After reading their info page in the program for Ozzfest, I was like, why not? Little did I know I was basically blown away and immediately bought their album Death Cult Armageddon after the show. I hate you missed out on Slipknot. We walked into the gates just as they were starting their set, as they threw a dead crow into the crowd and sprayed everyone with fake blood. Absolutely insane lineup that year.

    You cover your own congregation, of mischievous serenity of the age.

    • @thedeadpoet_33
      @thedeadpoet_33 3 роки тому +2

      @@Grimeyhoob They should stick to writing in their own language as the lyrics just do not make sense in English. They certainly havent a patch on Cradle of Filth's lyrics - which as far as lyrics go in general are some of the best ever written, and not strictly within the genre of Metal either. Say what you want about Dani being a poser, his voice sounding like a cat being raped and the music not being Black Metal (which I dont think they'd dispute), Dani's a *MASSIVELY* talented Poet and lyricist. Show any scholar of the English language worthy of the very name Dani's lyrics (without the music or his onstage/theatrical image/persona) and they'll agree too, I can almost guarantee you that.
      I know this is a relatively old Dimmu song (I actually bought this album when it came out which proved to be the first and last Dimmu album I'd buy) so maybe their English has improved by now, I dont know. I hope so, because as I said - it just doesnt make sense, or it lacks the substance of imagery and basic poetic devices and just appears hollow to me.
      Credit where credits due - I like the music though; its well orchestrated and the muscians thenselves are geninely talented. Those background vocals sound INCREDIBLE. Doesnt one of their guitarists play for Cradle now though?
