    Watching this, I feel like a small child. I know how to do some of these, but it is a laborious process for me. Fluxo, you make it look so easy - almost in a whimsical fashion. As always, your builds are fantastic, and I’m sure Stin appreciates the shout out. Have a great New Year! J&O

    Absolutely love this type of tips video. Have to work on your music volume a bit. But absolutely loved the flow of your video and I'm glad that you didn't stutter or "um" your way into each step before starting to show us something it felt very real without feeling rehearsed or scripted. Definitely will want more tip videos from you and you explain it so well and simple that it makes me want to give it a go in my world. Keep it up!

    nice tips. The thing I was most in awe of though was the shear size of the builds that were just glossed over in the preview. Where you get the imagination (and resource) to create them is beyond me. So uniform, clean and effective. To look at mine is utter chaos, though not to Josh (let's game it out degree). Who still managed to produce more than I do. I've subscribed just to view more of what you have made.

    These are some absolutely clutch tricks.
    For your curved road, have you tried using the catwalks instead of the rotated foundations? Place a single catwalk at the end of the foundation you wish to have turn, then use the rotation on the 2nd catwalk that you're snapping to the first one and you have that same level of precision over the rotation without having to drop over 100 foundations. Rinse repeat on each foundation and you achieve a nice curve of any length.

    • @FluxoBuilds
      @FluxoBuilds  Рік тому +2

      Thanks brother, yeah I know that catwalk way, I use my technique over it as it ensures my 90 degree angle and snaps me back to my grid

    really like this kind of videos, always gets me fired up to jump in and apply the stuff i did not yet know. think its a nice addition to the usual type of videos you release.
    minor point of constructive criticism, although it might just be me, but i thought the music was a bit loud for a video where youre explaining things in. its nice in the show case type videos but when youre speaking i would prefer it to be turned down a little more, so its less intrusive when listening to your explanations. but as i said, this might just be me.

    With the last tip, I've always just plopped a road barrier down and held ctrl to replace it with the wall. Seems you can get much more accurate with your method. I'll def be using your zfighting canceling method. I've used a similar style method, but the way i was doing it was a bit more inconsistent.. Great video. I hope you can come up with a few more gems and jewels for us Pioneers. I know a lot of people still get hung up on signs. How to get specific placements, design patterning, canceling z fighting, rotating. 🍻

    Great stuff Fluxo. I knew a couple of these but will be using others extensively. Especially that perfect alignment technique! I been stuck trying to use road barriers to align but that only snaps in like 1 meter chunks so either most angles are ass or in the case of too much ass I ditch it completely. That's a game changer!
    I enjoy pretty much all your content but the edited stuff on YT fits better into my given watch time. I know it's higher effort than streaming for (I assume) lower payoff; streaming is where I'd put my energy if I was a creator. But the only way I have time for an extended stream is putting it on a second screen while I play myself, and blame adhd but I end up forgetting the second screen is even there.
    I appreciate vods for referencing tips and concepts by watching you build real time like this curved road tip you use in your complex road networks vod. Or angled columns in basically every stream. 😎 Plenty of FluxoColumn©inspired sections in my builds now.

    The curved road technique using a radial method works, but is very tedious, labor intensive. The DC method can be easier. But some consider that too labor intensive. Relyen recently released a blueprint road guide for modular roads (straight sections, merges, exits, and ramps). And also a quick guide on how to merge together two mismatched roads almost seamlessly.

      @@FluxoBuilds I’d love to see an expansion on this idea with a blend of showcase. So how do you go about picking a location for a factory, what target products and quantities do you choose, how do you lay out the footprint of the related structures, how do you choose what parts to highlight such as visible belts, entryway and path to the factory floor, where and when do you plan external logistics such as road/truck connection or drone port placement or how to use trains and for what. These could each be their own video in a series of combine some into what makes sense. I think you could really increase your following and reach if you considered approaching your channel in this way. You do amazing work that people with limited time would love to learn from and replicate. Cheers!
