Really wish I still had the motivation and inspiration to do stuff like this. 15 years ago I was a web and graphic designer and used to play games like the Sims, CNC etc but only to build and design, never the game itself. Since spending my life on a PC I've burnt out like nuts. This is my favourite game EVER I'd say and I have about 600 hours but I burn out so fast nowadays. Really want to get some drive back and try this stuff because your design ability is just mind blowing. I love the aesthetics. Mixing landscape with the buildings is just so so so so so good.
Hey m8 this is just a friendly idea but have you tried going for walks? Sometimes just getting out into nature a bit helps. I like to go primitive camping for a few days just to get away from the tech and people for a bit. It's just what works for me it may help you for a bit. I come up with a lot of ideas while I'm out there too and after 3 or 4 days im actually a bit excited to come back and impliment them.
This is similar to me, Pinball. I too lose motivation for tons of things. I had 500 hours when I quit Satisfactory about 2 years ago (when Update 5 came out, I barely played it). Eventually, I avoided this game because I kept giving up or ADHD kicks in and I go do something else. But I just came back into Satisfactory with tips from Fluxo and TotalXclipse that I've found new inspiration to make beautiful buildings. I highly suggest trying to get some of your friends involved as it makes it more about a fun experience rather than a task. You can spice it up for them by creating a parkour course of sorts (very viable with Ziplines, Jumpads, and Ladders!)
I really like the horizontal version of your famous vertical wall, using the roof piece. Thanks for diversifying out of mostly showcase videos. It’s nice to see the techniques you use to make your masterpieces.
Huge THANKS! We need more of this style of "tips & tricks" video. The showcase fly-throughs are ok - but tend to be rather fast and hard to stop and study details. What you showed here is SO simple - it's just that you thought of it - stack 1M foundations and deleting in between is just one of those things that only becomes"obvious" when you see it done! 😀💥
Dude! You make some sick and impressive builds. Kudos for your brilliant mind and tenacity to figure out some interesting builds for this game. Great work!
Gorgeous builds! I always love to try and incorporate the natural features into builds as well so it's great to see someone doing it so well AND giving us tips!
Nice walkthrough. Appreciate the text subtitles for each chapter as well as the instructional foundation space to reduce environmental distractions. Great work!
Love these tip videos! Thank you. The aesthetics is definitely my weak area in this game and always looking for tips and tricks that are easy to apply and you really nailed it with these.
Damn, awesome stuff there - exactly what's necessary in order to get away from the boring, rectangle shaped factories! Definitely taking some of these as inspiration, thanks a lot for this video!
Only just found your channel. Absolutely love these types of tutorial. I guess we all have grand ideas, but don’t know how to do it. You give us a chance of fulfilling those ideas we these tutorials.
Thank you for all the great inspiration. I may never get there esthetically, but I always enjoy seeing it! If you could do a "how my truck refueling station works with my truck network" that would be epic!
The gridded wall is something ive experimented with before. I wondered how you did the horizontal ones. Nice. I thought it had something to do with using the small frame foundations for alignment. Really cool build tips. Great video! I love the look of that build in the end scene. I have a real habit of making symmetrical designs. Bravo sir!
IMO this build fits the Satisfactory Map smoother and lifts the Beauty of the World into a level all content Creators are trying to reach and get close to but none have reached your work on your level. Makes me think You are not from this world but came here to walk among us. And Play Our Games.
As always, my friend, lovely stuff. I remember how hard it was to learn methods like this, but you still make it look effortless. Looking forward to your next stream. #Satisfactory #FluxoAF
Thank you brother, yes I know this :) there is a reason I don't (I explain this at the start of my most recent video). Basically I use ficsit foundation first as the pattern indicator on the ficsit foundation is the clearest indicator to show the direction of the foundation which is really important with asphalt as if asphalt isn't all facing the right direction when you are a certain distance away it looks "chopped up" but if it is facing the right direction it looks a lot smoother!
@@mhx47 well for asphalt for example, if you place asphalt the wrong way and zoom out little, you will see it very clearly if you place it the right way, when you zoom out it will all look one nice flow. I explain it a lot in my streams!
Here is more feedback. A 15 Second intro in a day and age where people have so short attention span that they need to watch two videos stacked on top of each other in a youtube short is very, very brave ^^

Thanks! Really appreciated this video as well as your other content 👍
Thanks for dropping some feedback on the content man really helps! Thanks for being here also!
The cool thing about these tricks is that they look great while not beeing too annoying to place down on a large scale
Yeah! They are all for any scale and they work great breaking up builds!
A great vid yet again. Now I understand those techniques and if I understand them everyone understand them😅
Hahah! Well this is always a good clarification 😅
brilliant as usual keep on doing what you are doing 😀😀😀😀😀
Means a lot coming from yourself gaspap! Thanks man!

Hopefully this helps you in some what way then! Really appreciate you taking the time out to check out my content too! (Also, love the name)
That's an incredible video you're helping me so much
Ahh man, feedback like this makes it all worth it, good to hear my dude!
Incredible work as always! Thank you for giving us such an insight into how you obtain such looks via vanilla ways.
The added depth these bring to a build is amazing. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Gets my creative gotta try that vibe going. Loving it!

Sorry to get back so late! My good man woodro, thank you brother! Really appreciate it!
Your tutorials are as awesome as your builds. Gives me hope that I may go beyond the box.
Thx. i turned these into bits and pieces plus some altered twists in the blueprint designer.
Ive learned so many cool ideas in this video that I am going to implement into my builds, thanks!
great quality video can't wait to see more
Fantastic video Fluxo, thank you for sharing your vision and talent with the community.
Awesome that you are enjoying it my dude! Been here a long time now Nectere, means a lot brother
Remember to put a water pump on the horizontal before a row of verticals , just how water works in game
Wait what? You're supposed to put horizontal pumps before a vertical one?
some great tips... keep em coming :D love this :D
You are the wall master dude, thanks for the ideas.
I would love some up-to-date tips on roofing and other ways to close off the top of our factories.
I want more of your technique videos. thx for sharing

Good stuff!
Really liked the tips here, but I'm wondering if you know that you can just build the foundations as asphalt instantly so no need to paint them? :-)

Man i love the Fade On font from DaVinci Resolce :D
Also great building tips! Can‘t wait to try some of these out in Update 8 today!!
Is there a reason why you place a thing, changing colour and material afterwards for how game handles placement or is it just a habbit?
There is reason, the basic ficsit foundation showns directional pattern of the foundation a lot clearer that any other foundation!
@@FluxoBuilds Do you mean 90 degree difference? Why is it important to you?
@@mhx47 well for asphalt for example, if you place asphalt the wrong way and zoom out little, you will see it very clearly if you place it the right way, when you zoom out it will all look one nice flow. I explain it a lot in my streams!
