Your breakfast is more a dessert for us here in Norway ☺ It is something we could eat at a birthday party etc. Or on a holiday somewhere. In Norway our breakfast is mostly open sandwiches with ham or Norwegian brown cheese, boiled eggs and coffee. Many also eat oatmeal, milk and yogurt.
After that breakfast before to go school or work, Italians often eat something around 10\11 a.m to make a break ( a very light luncheon usually ) and then there is lunch at 1or 2 pm . If they eat all that caloric stuff too they would not eat until dinner.

Hello there! Thank you for sharing this incredible video. My dad is from Tuscany but we live in the US and he recently passed away. I know he’s near and your videos from Italy always warm my heart with memories of dad.
after watching ur videos, one of my definite goals after college is to land an internship or apprenticeship in pastry arts in Italy. there's just so much to learn and taste there and after watching ur videos, Italy has become one of my top 5 culinary destinations
girl, we want more camera shots with the real scenario of the relaxing Italian breakfast! Personally, I’m more interested in the scene yall eating in real life than cookie knowledge cuz your shooting was so relaxing i want it more.
The pastries 😭♥. Also, am I the only one who thought while growing up that Kinder is german chocolate? Hahaha Loved EVERYTHING in this video, Rosie and the way you filmed it. Comforting and warm, just like the brioches 💕

So happy to see a new video. Dough wrapped in blocks of butter … yum. All the machines and tools - very cool. Love your content and shared with a few pastry lovers.
I’ve always believed that Italy is like the European version of Mexico haha and I can tell you that with this video I got those vibes as well. We have our own pastries which we call “pan dulce” and it’s literally a staple, a lot of people enjoy drinking coke with it or just an instant coffee made at home, we’re also big on the cookies with coffee as well and I swear my whole life I thought kinder was mexican because it is really popular over here too. Amazing video as always! Sending you much love, Rosie ❤️
I can't believe you didn't mention tea. Like... tè con i biscotti? Lots of italian drink that for breakfast. It's definetly more popular than drinking orange juice for breakfast. The tea island in italian supermarkets is huge. I'm Italian and almost every adult I know drinks tea in the morning as an alternative for coffee or even the two of them as a combo, one after the other.
greetings from Austria! 😊 I was born in Tyrol, so fortunately the delishiousness of italian pastries and cookies was never too far 😍 How Italians manage to stay in shape though, is still a mystery to me. Considering the amount of sugar and carbs in the daily diet. How is it even possible? I am envious 😅
Those pastries are usally made with very little to nil sugar and with quality products compared to let's say stuff made in USA or England, been there seen that, and usually, unless one has not to fast until dinner, you take just one togheter a coffee or a cappuccino, you will hardly see someone eating 2 o 3 of those pastries in the morning, very rare. Hence not a great consumption of carbs and sugar. As for pasta it's mostly just one dish of pasta at lunch for most people . In my house for example we never eat two times pasta in the same day, sometimes we don't eat pasta for 2\3 days either. Granted that is the topping that make pasta fattening, for example a dish of spaghetti with just a bit of olive oil is one of the healthiest stuff ever made and eaten even by athletes.
What a fun and relaxing video Rosie, thanks so much for your posts, I look forward to them! Love the family dynamics- you seem much the same age as my daughter and I recognized me in your dad's expression. 'Salve' to your Dad from another Dad in Florida! We do what we do because we love who we're doing it with!
How come italians are living so long when they eat so many sweets from breakfast until dinner ? Maybe they balance this habit with eating a lot of vegetables and fish/seafood 🤔
Thank you for your efforts and enlightenment! I really enjoyed this video. It was no surprise there as I'm a big fan ❤ I certainly know more about Italian breakfast options now and several completely unknown things like barley and ginseng coffee options! The quality, pace, locations, music, and your narration were wonderful!
Italian breakfast is one of the most unhealthy meals that they have. But that being said, all other meals are pretty balanced. The key here is balance. I rarely see Italians over eating most of the time. It’s just funny that they start their day with so much sugar..
So much sugar consisting of latte and, at best, 3/4 little biscotti. Or cereals. That's not much if you think about it. What Rosie has shown is basically our Sunday breakfast if we want some variation from the usual.
@@odetojoon it depends what you consider a lot. Each of those biscotti is has a lot of sugar. Here in my house my family eats them every morning. I do agree that is not a lot once a week, but if you eat that everyday it is. I think that a breakfast with some protein and healthy fats would just help stabilize blood sugar levels for the start of the day, instead of only carbs and sugar.
Do you think that eating pancakes or eggs cooked in butter or fried bacon or sausages , or cereals full of sugar ( more than Italian sweet pastries) is a helthier way of starting the day? Let's check statistics on obese or fat peaople in Usa and Italy and you'll have the answer on who has the best blood sugar levels..
It's a shame she is so inconsistent. There are many more channels emerging with this type of content and if she keeps up her current schedule of one video every two to three months, her channel will lose momentum and people will move on. I would hate to see that happen.
Those Italian commercials showcasing how 'healthy' Nutella is to have in your diet had me laughing for so long especially the one with climbing the mountain lol, thanks for another amazing content as always!!!
I think many people will start to unsubscribe/lose interest if she continues to only post one video every 2-3 months. It's a very strange way to run a channel.
I don’t know what to say… However, Rosie is very busy with something else so that’s life. So maybe she is creating a new video sometimes soon. She doesn’t care that someone will unsubscribe from Rosie Maio. So she is currently may be working on it and please be patient, one thing at a time.

Rosie! You seriously have a future in food content. Producing informative features like this is really cool and you certainly have a unique perspective. I’d love to encourage you to do more! ❤
BABE WAKE UP ROSIE JUST DROPPED A NEW VIDEO!! ❤❤❤
Hello there!
Thank you for sharing this incredible video. My dad is from Tuscany but we live in the US and he recently passed away. I know he’s near and your videos from Italy always warm my heart with memories of dad.
Loved this Rosie! You should make these with the voiceover in Italian too, they'd make great videos for those who are learning the language.
after watching ur videos, one of my definite goals after college is to land an internship or apprenticeship in pastry arts in Italy. there's just so much to learn and taste there and after watching ur videos, Italy has become one of my top 5 culinary destinations
Where do you live?
girl, we want more camera shots with the real scenario of the relaxing Italian breakfast! Personally, I’m more interested in the scene yall eating in real life than cookie knowledge cuz your shooting was so relaxing i want it more.
Yes I prefer the old style videos. This one is very “produced”.
yeah i like the way she just shooting ,it’s so relaxing and it’s ok not to talk @@jack67102
Excellent presentation, Rosie. I think this is one of the most authentic perspectives I've seen - well done!
The pastries 😭♥. Also, am I the only one who thought while growing up that Kinder is german chocolate? Hahaha
Loved EVERYTHING in this video, Rosie and the way you filmed it. Comforting and warm, just like the brioches 💕
Ahahah in italy too many don’t realise that ferrero (nutella) and kinder are the same company
The colors of this video are gorgeous! Very well made❤️ So happy you’re back!
🥰
Francesco isn't old ...yet. lol As we get older and see our parents age, we realize people don't truly get old until their 80's. The admirable and talented Francesco is safe for now. lol Also, your mom, the other talented hard worker, looked gorgeous.
so true!! To someone in their 20's, everyone is old, haha.
I hope all is well and thank you for being so open with your family and life. Love to watch but your mentality and life is worth more than our viewing pleasures 💜💜
you literally don’t know how much ur videos mean to me!! ur my comfort youtuber and you literally feel like my friend and i missed
your videos sm i watch all
of them on repeat everyday 🫶🏻🐞
The languages are crazy similar too
mexico = italy at home
The similarities between Italy and Mexico are mostly due to Spanish past of Mexico i guess.
Mavaffa!
SO GOOD, loved this one!! And loved seeing Francesco working and the nutella part
The quality of this video is amazing! It's so good to see your evolution
Rosie, where are you? Hope you are okay! We miss your videos.
Love it, Rosie! Would love to watch some more of this “italian ways of doing stuff” kind of videos
OMG ROSIE MISSED U
Cmon sponsorship!!! Love seeing you leveling up on your channel. I’m a fan
Where have you been Rosie? I miss your videos :.) hope youre doing well!!
WOW 😯
Outstanding
A master at his work.
Thank you for sharing this story.
greetings from Austria!
@@alessandrom7181 thanks for clarifying and the explanation!
The colors look so beautiful in this video
Are you ok? Are you busy with the paperwork to move? Missing your videos!
What a fun and relaxing video Rosie, thanks so much for your posts, I look forward to them! Love the family dynamics- you seem much the same age as my daughter and I recognized me in your dad's expression. 'Salve' to your Dad from another Dad in Florida! We do what we do because we love who we're doing it with!
that big dad sigh at the beginning as he has just woken up to drive his kid around is such a universal experience 🥲
Rosie i missed your videos a loooot, i love the everyday life that you show us, the real italy!!
How come italians are living so long when they eat so many sweets from breakfast until dinner ? Maybe they balance this habit with eating a lot of vegetables and fish/seafood 🤔
I wonder the same😅
Exactly. Also, they are eating just a small amount of those sweets.
Yay she’s back
next video will be in 6 months
It's a shame she is so inconsistent. There are many more channels emerging with this type of content and if she keeps up her current schedule of one video every two to three months, her channel will lose momentum and people will move on. I would hate to see that happen.
I don't know why but your videos is one of my reminders that life is still beautiful.
Those Italian commercials showcasing how 'healthy' Nutella is to have in your diet had me laughing for so long especially the one with climbing the mountain lol, thanks for another amazing content as always!!!
Who else will unsubscribe this channel?
I think many people will start to unsubscribe/lose interest if she continues to only post one video every 2-3 months. It's a very strange way to run a channel.
I don’t know what to say… However, Rosie is very busy with something else so that’s life. So maybe she is creating a new video sometimes soon. She doesn’t care that someone will unsubscribe from Rosie Maio. So she is currently may be working on it and please be patient, one thing at a time.
Rosieee I’m so glad you uploaded again! Im in LOOOVE with this new camera quality and filming technique🥹🩷 you rock!
