- I made this metal speakeasy gate for a client that I have done a lot of work for. Something like this is very hard to price because of the amount of work that goes into making it. I have a ton of hours into this thing. It was a very difficult build because of the precision it took to make it fit and work nicely.

as the owner of the original "speak easy gate" I gotta I love these two more!! Thanks Jim!!
Jimbo, your right , it's got to be hard to put a actual price on your labor with a project like that. You are a true Craftsman man ! Nice job.
Nice work again my friend!
WOW amazing craftsmanship. Thank you for sharing your videos. Beautiful gate... God bless 🙏
Jimbos Garage,are de best
A legend and an inspiration.
Good stuff. Your intro music is reminiscent of a discovery channel show.
Those are sweet and look like a ton of work. Its very hard to get that tubing bent the same to match twice. Great work!
I like your way to work, thanks for share the video, best regards from Venezuela
That door is sweet! Heirloom piece for sure.
Amazing work
NICE JOB
Very nice work, Jimbo .
Jimbo, that was some fancy welding and fabrication. You're the man on this project. Hope you got enough green stuff to make a mortgage payment.
weld out 🍻🍻
It was wilds watching the right leg move in and out as you heated it.
Great job!
Heck yeah
That IPE is beautiful... will last forever.. nice way to upcycle, too.. I built a sitting bench from IPE from a boardwalk that was damaged here (NY) during Superstorm Sandy... that wood is extremely dense also. Looks great, Jimbo.
very nice craft!
Beautiful work! 👏👏👏
Nice work Jimbo, as always ... 👍
Very nice video this week Jimbo. Hopefully they enjoy it for many years to come my friend. Can't wait to see more videos. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God Bless.
Great project.
BEAUTIFUL job BTW!❤
Outstanding work as always 👌👍
A piece get's "welded in" or welded in place; a job or section of a job is "welded out" or finished up. (Or I could be completely wrong, haha) Either way you'd be right and we'd know what you meant, Jimbo. - I will sometimes under bid a job because I know how long it should take if I were a trained welder/fabricator; but I'm not and I often spend a lot of time on details that an experienced pro would probably cruise through. Always a pleasure watching you work. I learn something new every time. Thanks!
Love your craft so much and always learning new skills from you
Awsome build, love it!
Jimbo you do some very nice work.. We need an update on the can crusher.. That was so cool.. Take care my friend and God Bless....
Those are beautiful. I like the way you work.
Great video. A lot of work went into those gates.
Fantastic gates great project jimbo!
WoW!
Really nice gates. I enjoy your videos.
Really good work, alot of detailed work, the 3/4 angle iron adds a nice touch of functionality and look...the 3/4 on the backside of the speak easy, I would have miter cut them around the speak easy...looks great thou...love from the Caribbean 🇹🇹
Waww tnkiw
I wish grinding in real life was 2x speed 😀
Id say Welded in when attaching a piece to something like a bracket to a frame, Welded out when just welding like on your table
👍👍
Wow, absolutely excellent craftsmanship! $30k for both I bet.
Go Buskeyes
very nice job. I keep considering making something like this for my home but the cost of steel is so high and my need for that element so low it's hard to justify.
Steel is cheap. Skill is expensive. :)
how many hours labor was one gate? they turned out fantastically 👏🏼
why no 45 joints on that inside angle iron?? 1 more step to make it even nicer.
Where do you get your weld table clamps you use ?
Jim did king metals close? I can't find them. Looking for decrative metal for the driveway gate.
What type of lockset or handle do you use on this type of gate?
How much did you charge for these ?
