- What Cindy and I love most about our new to us Jeep YJ Wrangler, is that so much of it is still bone stock. But, if there is a down side to it, it’d be that some of the factory parts, such as the door mirrors, are pretty worn out. And, while sometimes a little tightening of a screw or two is all that's needed to fix them, more times than not, they just need to be replaced. Fortunately, there are companies like Rugged Ridge that still manufacture and sell OE style replacement parts and at a reasonable price! Of course, they also make a ton of cool new parts and accessories for older Jeeps like this, such as all weather floor mats and because they are sold as Official Mopar Licensed products, you can be sure they provide a perfect fit. I have an 89. Love that thing! I’ve owned CJs and TJs but to me the YJ is the best of both worlds. You get the old school feel with some modern touches.

Love this! The first Jeep I bought brand new was a late '95 YJ. It was built in October of '95 while they were re-tooling for the new '97 model year TJs. So late in the year in fact, that it came with the TJ's round windshield bump stops on the hood instead of the standard YJ rubber coated u-bolts. I love all Jeeps but I'll always have a soft spot for the YJ. Square headlights and all!

I bout a 92 YJ last July as a project vehicle.
I have a Mercedes OM617 diesel, and many other things planned but I just enjoy driving the dang thing around.
If you decide to clean/buff & shine up the amber parking lights the best is mother’s aluminum polish on 3 inch buffing pad. I’ve done that to our original 87SS ElCamino tail lights & marker lights. They came out great. Hope puppy training is going good

Definitely some nice and needed upgrades. And yes very true owning a Jeep is a very slippery slope lol. I thought I was going to stay mild with a 3” lift and some 35’s, but soon after came pro-Rock 44 gobi rack bumpers and winch, and still going lol.

Would really liketo see a Hellcat swap in that Jeep. Used to own a 1988 Wrangler with a 383 Stroker swap . Loved that Jeep But could not afford the gas when I moved back to Maui. Keep up the great videos

Wayalife needed a transmission in my Semi.
I also added a convex view mirror to the stock set up.... What w what a difference in field of view
I wasn't sure if I'd like it at first but after having it a while, yeah, the greater view is nice to have.
Have you noticed any vibration issues with the mirrors you installed? I purchased a cheaper set on amazon and have noticed, while driving, the mirror head vibrates and causes me to not see through it well.

Where did you get the front bucket seats...Having trouble finding good replacement seats that allow for easy entry into the back seat.
What you see in this video are factory seats. Yes, the previous owner took that good care of this little Jeep.

I know my question has nothing to do with this video. You made a video with the JL in which you had to do some minor paint repair. You had a kit and a link to that kit. I can't seem to remember which video that was. If someone could please help me find it as I recently have damage due to rocks and mud. Very much appreciate
This is one of my favorite YJ videos out there. I just purchased all the mats and mirrors for my YJ. Do you have to cut out a spot for the seatbelts on the cargo mat? Love your videos, hope to see more of your YJ. It’s a beaut!
I don't have a rear seat but I would imagine you would have to cut an opening.

Is a YJ a good enter level platform to add improvements to tackle the mighty Rubicon?
I like the 04-06 LJ. But there kind of pricey.
I suppose it depends on how big you're wanting to go. The overall platform and 4.0L engine are great but the Dana 35 rear axle is a weak link with big tires.
I have a 95 Cherokee with the 4.0 and front Dana 30 with 8.25 rear axel.
So I have some experience with that set up. I have a 2019 JLU Rubicon.
But the wife has made it hers...no mods!!
So I asking for opinions from different people on a good rig to wheel in.
How does the rear cargo mat do at highway speeds? Looks like the wind would catch it and send it like a frisbee, there goes mat and Ripley right after it. You alwasy have great videos, just need more and more often please. Oh the pressure of viewers.
