I love these detailed videos that you do working on these cool cars. This video will help me to change my cracked drivers side turn signal lens on my 96 v6 camaro. Thanks.
Thanks for the video! Some ass backed into my Camaro yesterday, there was no damage but it did shatter the lense and I was worried it was going to be super hard to replace.
My own '95 Camaro is having that same coolant level sensor issue! I've just ignored it completely. I'm pretty jealous that your car runs that cold too :( Mine always runs REALLY warm... I may need to do a flush or something on it and replace stuff because I've never had a car be that warm
That’s for the video… I own a 96 Z28 and my turn signal is slow flashing. It seems yours was the same? My turn signal was a slower than yours. Could my bulb being out? Thanks!
I notice the oil pressure in your car sits at about 10psi at idle. Has that been typical for you? I've been trying to get my 96 together and that's about what I'm seeing when warm. (215° or so)
A lot of people say that 10psi per 1,000rpm is normal for a small block Chevy and that has kind of been my standard. My car’s oil pressure is at about 10psi at a 700rpm idle, which I’m happy with.
Great video and is looking sharp. I always liked the LT1s. I can't remember but does your car have a chip. If so, that might help explain why it runs a bit cooler.
Yeah on my 97 Camaro I replaced the sensor and my gauge still reads low scanned it with an OBD2 scanner and the car is running at the proper temperature so the gauge is bad
I totally forgot about the temp. When I had my 94 camaro and it got to about 200,000 miles I always had to watch the temp gage because it would get pretty warm.
thank you for this video, I recently purchased one and neither bulb works and have been having so much trouble removing the turn signal bulb socket. Hopefully removing the whole lens will make it easier
Yay more 4th gen content 😊 Buy the Low coolant sensor at Autozone, it comes with a lifetime warranty. I have replaced mine 3x in 20 years.
Did the light turn off after each change?
@@ReynoldsRides yes it did😊
Nice job. Clear concise & to the point. Not a lot of extra chatter.
👍👊
I just did this on my 98 and replaced all halogens with LEDs from Amazon nice and bright now.
*To keep my 1976 Camaro cool, I upgraded to a more row copper radiator and installed a flex-a-lite mechanical fan.*

I unplugged mines. 🤷 I tried fixing it before but just kept coming back up.
Thanks for the links really appreciate it.
Well done. Always got to keep on top of those little things.

Changes my low coolant sensor, very easy to do and very cheap!
I just got a 94 z28 and my coolant light comes on. Haven't driven it or looked at the coolant nut good to know that it's a common problem! Thank you.

Thanks for the help. I will say my bulb for the turn signal was not a 3157. It was a 1156
I found my 98 camaro with 94,000 miles on it. Not bad for a 23 year old car.
Not bad at all.

Any more 4th gen videos coming
Do you happen to know if the turn signal bulb is burned out, does it make the back tail light not blink as well?
*Do you know if UT's classic car insurance allows you to park outside of a garage?*
I don’t know about that, sorry.
Do you happen to know if the process is similar to the Pontiac firebird 4th gen? I assume it is because they’re damn near the same thing sorta lol
I don’t know for sure but would agree that they must be similar.
Great video and is looking sharp. I always liked the LT1s. I can't remember but does your car have a chip. If so, that might help explain why it runs a bit cooler.
To my knowledge, it doesn’t have a chip.
You need a new oil pressure sensor lol

I’m definitely glad this one is staying cool.

👍👊
This was such a pain for my car I had rusted bolts and corrosion rocks forming all of er my turn signals
It’s the sensor going out I have a 1994 z28 with 34k original miles and I got it with 27k and the sensor has gone out 3 times on me
Happy Father’s Day
Thank you!
Installed new coolant sensor… warning light is still on in dash…
Utah Camaros!!
when this happened to my z28 i had to replace a hose
I'd be more worried about that oil pressure level
It looks about right to me for 700 rpms.
well if it’s so fucking easy you come shimmy it yourself
