I like 3rd gen's better, only because of how far back the engine sits in in the 4th gens in the bay and how the firewall and cowl is right there makes it a bit more of a pain in the ass to work on there isn't a whole lot of room compared to the older ones. Other than that they are good.
I bought my 95 3.4 l brand new. I was 19 at the time and couldn't afford the insurance on the Z28 and the 3.8 RS wasn't out yet so I bought the 3.4. There is no other car that looks like a 4th gen Camaro. Back in the late 90's there weren't many after market upgrades available, but now I see there are quite a few. I was thinking about upgrading the suspension and brakes so I can rip around country roads. I think the v6's handle better because they are lighter in the front than the v8s. Today it looks brand new but there is a bolt that stripped out on the transmission.
I found a love for 4th gens 3 years ago when my buddy got rid of his 93 v6 and got a 99 z28 with the T tops. Now if you really know these cars you'll know that the chameleon green was a rare color and that's what it was. He got into an accident and got the front fenders, front bumper and the hood all fiberglass and got a 2 1/2 inch cowl hood scoop. He's right about how it's just modern enough to throw cool shit into but still old enough to be considered "mullet muscle". I like 98+ ones they did, the 93-97 really needed a facelift
@@GnarshredProductions So the limited engine space in the 4th gens is the reason why you like the 3rd gens better? Ok. But the engine that sits in that tight space is wayyy better than that TPI in the 3rd gen.

you CAN swap in an LS, but you dont have to. there is nothin wrong with the LT1, i love the low end torque of the LT1 and the sound. im not racing my car, so i just enjoy the LT1 for what it is, a decent engine.
Ive got a 600HP LT1 in the shop. They are great engines. The only thing I dont like about them is the tuning software. HP Tuners got me spoiled. If I were to modify an LT1 I would get a 24x setup.
Steve Sabino My LT1 was pumping out 296rwhp and 330tq to the wheels, this was with long tubes, cai, electric water pump and tuning. It ran great, I even beat a few C5's at the drag strip. I just decided to build a forged motor and at the time ported ls3 heads were 1300 new. It was the 350cfm heads that made me look into the swap. I was running nitrous on my lt1 and made 430rwhp and 570rwtq spraying. It was a lot of fun. We had a dyno day with a local car club and my car on spray put down more torque than a buddies bolt on n tuned turbo diesel!
Ive thought about doing the same rear in mine. An auto would be nice. I want to get a faceplated t56 built eventually and see how I like it. Thats a stout setup. I love the 6.0's So easy to make good power.
I'm getting a 98-02 trans am as my 1st car can't wait for my schools reaction :D EDIT: I forgot to say this but I now have my red 02 ws6 and its amazing
They are awesome cars. My only advice to you is to be careful these cars slide out very easily especially in the rain. Take it to an autox and you will learn a ton on how to handle it in a slide. They are great cars with great performance potential! Oh and one other thing. Dont speed over 6mph in the fast lane. Thats where cops shoot radar 99% of the time. I wish someone told me when I was in HS.
Dave Rodriguez I got my fbody Camaro Z running when I was 19-1/2 and I’ll tell you honestly that I’m glad it wasn’t my first car. If it was I’d probably be in a jail or without a license. That said be super careful. These cars will get away from you.
I love them so much thats why I got a 4th gen camaro and a trans am lol Best thing is the absolutely timeless design and the few electronics which makes them repairable as well.
Yeah they do!! I own a '97 firebird 3.8 powered runnin on the original trans & rear with 3.23 gears with 181 thousand miles. Do'nt drive it during Pa winters. I had one individual comment about my poncho. He said he has'nt seen many firebirds than camaro's on the road lately but said very nice car to me.
Nice video. That 95 has a great owner that truly understands 4th gen F Bodies - you're all over it man ! I have a 98 Z28 that I bought new... dropped in an LQ9 Stroker, tuned it Speed Density N/A but with 3 Bar tables - WOW !
I can’t agree more. I have been loving mine since I took possession of it in 1998. Mine was leased to someone who drove it for a year then I bought it. It’s been great to me through all these years. I put 325,000km on it and only went through one clutch, one opti-spark distributor and one water pump. It’s been very good to me and reliable as hell. Mine is black on black leather with T-roofs, a/c (of course) 6 speed stick ( again of course!) and has never been smoked in. I’d love to upgrade to an LS upgrade but with having its history all documented and it being the last V8 iron block I think I’ll just keep it’s vintage and heritage intact. Thanks for your time Rick and your great video. I should be out of this hospital bed next week so I will send you a few pictures. Again, thanks for such an entertaining video. Damn, you sure can drive that thing!
My roommate picked up a black ‘95 convertible with the 3.4l V6 for $1700. It looks good, runs good and it’s fun to drive. Great video and that’s a beautiful car!
In 2005 i replaced the stock sway bars frt & back with Hotchkis system end links polyurethane bushings. What a big difference in handling! It's something on what the assembly plant up in Ontario Canada installed on either the camaro/firebird them bars so undersized! During 2014 i decide to replace the old factory springs with new ones they were done after 178 thousands miles of Pa roads.
Camaro Rick me too. They actually sound good with the stock cam but way better with a bigger cam. I was leaning towards LT4 hotcam in mine because I wouldn’t have to do as many supporting mods. but as long as I’m going to cam it I mine as well get a bigger one and do it right.
Andy Frye opinions are like assholes...yours isn't better than anyone else's. 1st, 5th, and 6th gens are the only camaro that the majority of people even know of. It's an easy shape to be attracted to, pleasing to the eye. But it gets a little dull when you see them everywhere, mainly driven by cheerleaders with rich daddies or secretaries looking for some status, or in the case of the first gens, rich grandpas who spend their retirement money paying shops to lsx swap their base 69's with fake ss badges. The new z28 and zl1 are finally drawing the attention of *car* *enthusiasts* to the new gens, not the masses, who are already in love. The 3rd and 4th gens are the rage for most car enthusiasts due to their price and power, while still being attractive to look at. When an average person sees a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th gen, they just see a cool car, not a name. And that's what some of us want.
All my fbody friends have t-tops and Im not gonna lie Im a bit jealous.... ehhhhh but hard top's are more rigid!?, yea more rigid Ill stick to that lol There is a difference in roof sheet metal though but Ive never seen these cars tweak in the door jamb from an uneven floor jack enough to notice any change in door alignment t-top or hard top. Try it with a c3 vette they tweak like crazy.
@@CamaroRick I think I might be one of the only owners in the world that would prefer my Trans Am be a hard top. I just don't really care for convertibles or anything like that. The wind in my hair feels like a nuisance, haha. I'd much prefer the structural rigidity of the hard top, and 0 chance of it leaking (even though my t-tops don't leak). People seem to love t-tops though 😁
I don't own one(yet). I believe they were the best Camaros aside from the old classics. As you stated, they are the best all-round Camaros to work on and modify and they are super aerodynamic making them perfect dragsters. The Pontiac GTO's are my favorite car, but they aren't as commonly found as these badass cars.
Got one, rescued it from a sure salvage yard. 97ss auto. Now has a forged 355 le2 heads and cam, all the bolt ons including electric water pump. Yank 3600 stall. Just got it running 2 weeks ago. May i also add it was completely flooded inside my garage during Harvey storm. This my second 97ss. First one was red with a six speed back in 1998. Love these cars.
That's amazing glad you saved it. LEHeads are very nice. He was the man on lt1s from the beginning. I had a mezere e water pump on mine was great for cooling the engine in the staging lanes. I'm gonna put one on the new motor in it now. Still wired up through the air pump relay in the fuse block so should be pretty easy. I want to get another 6 speed for my work truck. They are my favorite manual transmissions thanks for checking it out.
i really want this car, my dad had this car in 2005 and was crazyy, this camaro is the best for me not the design but the power and the feeling it's just awesome
When it comes to cars the only word ik is LS, these were king of the road for so long and kinda still are in they own way, now the v6 versions? I dunno , never drove a 3.4 but every time i see one they sound terrible and misfire uncontrollably, i driven a 3.8 and its beefy for a 6, not raw ignorant power but enough to spin sum tires and have sum fun. Z28,SS, formula, or the elusive WS6, these cars are legends
Yes you should totally put a ss spoiler on it, i had the same rims and hood scoop, seats said 30th anniversary, my first sports car. Only problem i ever had was the neutral safety switch went out once and a thermostat failed to open, 167 thousand miles on it when i sold it..
Fun fact, with the exception of the convertible cars, all coupes were born t-top cars, and just had the reinforcement side brackets added, that is why you can convert these cars to a t-top in an afternoon.
I bought my 93 new, ordered it 3 months before they went into production, best car ever produced, been road course racing mine since the day I picked it up, have made many mods over the years to make sure it continues to be one of the fastest cars at the track, just built a 650 horse LT1 for this summer, putting the old 540 horse 383 into my street 93 Camaro.
Dude that's bad@ss. I really want to road race, or even autocross my 2000 Ws6. Not sure I'll ever do it, but man I think it would be really fun. Good on you for getting out there and mixing it up in an F-body!
@@bradleylovej Don't know where you live, but you could type in track day events near me, if you would like to give it a try you could go to one of these events watch how it works, they have these all over the country, we do it with a car club called 3 Balls racing, great group of people. We live in the middle of Michigan, several nice road courses within an hour and a half of us, one thing that worries me is the fact that after November 8th if the democrats maintain control of congress after we vote, they plan to make auto racing, motocross, all recreational motorsports illegal, totally ban the production of auto parts for cars older than 2008 and continue cutting energy production soaring the cost of energy, creating shortages. I've been racing something my whole life, could not imagine not racing, sounds like you've got a really nice car, love the WS6's, if you have any questions hit me back, I don't do a lot on these computer things, not really my bag, but if we don't vote the right way in about a week, your time to do this may be very limited.
@@user-Dr. Thanks for the advice! I haven't found any cool car clubs like you guys have, but when I bought the car, I did find that we have some SCCA chapters in my neck of the woods. I live in Missouri, and have two options-SCCA in Kansas City, and SCCA in Neosho. They both have autocross, and the one in KC also has road racing every so often. I'm jealous that you've got a couple of different road racing courses. Road courses seem like they would be super fun, and a good fit for these cars-more room to stretch than and AutoX course. That being said, I'll probably AutoX a few times. I like that there's no other cars on the course in AutoX, and it seems like it's probably not as hard on the car as road racing. Even though road racing looks like the most fun, I'm scared to break something. Like you said, I actually have a pretty nice car that is currently all-original. I'm fighting that all-original vs. having fun in it battle. Don't get me wrong, I'm going to have fun in it, the question is just how much. You have an LT1? I've been kind of interested in what, if anything, people are doing to get these cars ready for that kind of action. Not to go out there and dominate, just to race and have fun in a safe way. I know any time you race, you're risking parts breaking, but I was wondering if there were any obvious things people do to take care of the cars before getting on the track, especially LS1's. I think they're pretty sturdy motors, but do you have any tips? Thanks, again
I absolutely love them. I am in the process of building another 94z28 with a 383 stroker and a 6speed, 4:10 gears. On board scanner, sub frame connectors. Naturally Aspirated.
I actually was looking for a camaro or Trans Am and I ended up getting a Corvette which I sold and now I finally have a 1995 LS swapping trans am. I picked up a low mileage 6.0 and I’m doing a inspection on Monday when it gets here to see if it needs anything more than new gaskets which it’s getting for sure. I don’t know what the electrical will be yet. From 95-02 were lots of changes.
the LT1 gets a bad rap but its fucking fast for just under 300 .. it has a ton of torq and can be built to sound like a platoon of tanks coming to kick ass
I had a 1995 trans am LT1 T Top, had some great power added and trans was built and good torque converter, corvette wheels, and a detroit locker. I was 19 when I had it, lost my job because company closed after 2 months of working there, but it was enough to put some gas in it for the summer! Then I sold it :(
I do not know why but I love 96-97 SS Camaros. I currently have a 99B4C with heads cam, stall and wr and at times drives me crazy but its hard to find a 10 second daily driver car like mine that you can drive anywhere for the price. And yes I have a Foxbody too which I love.
I had a '97 Sebring Silver SLP SS 6-speed manual with the optional 2OTL exhaust. Thing sounded mean and was just as quick as most auto LS1 cars stock for stock. I wish I would've kept that car. EDIT: But the real question is did you really own that C6 ZR1?! 😂
I loved my 94 z28 and wound up hating it after chasing electrical issues. I put so much money into that car. Could have bought two more with what I dumped in it. This was 15+ years ago.

I had a 2002 Ws6 TA I ended up modifying it with a ProCharger, Borla exhaust, suspension, Wilwood brakes, CCW wheels, 9’ rearend, etc. On the dyno it was making 606 rwhp & 550 tq. I ended up selling it for a 2015 Camaro Z/28.

That is right and I love that too. I never undestood why the newer Camaros weren´t made the same. I guess because sheet metal is cheaper, easier and faster to produce. I own a Camaro 1995 and the body is in awesome shape&form.
It's composite. It's not fiberglass, nor plastic.
@@ancientapparition1638 I see that as a win win!
4th gen f-bodies are cool because you can go fast for cheap. Junkyard 5.3 + turbo kit = 700+ reliable horsepower all day long
Cheap power with an expensive 4L60E rebuild
@@Epro95 True... the engines have no problem making power but the stock trans has all of the problems holding that power past a certain point. A relatively low point, unfortunately.
You're full of shit. Wait till you have to replace a part that's not a mod like, say, a heater hose.
There's $140 right there. Yeah, cheap. LMAO. Go ahead. Pour money into that monster. You'll never get it back.

@@omgvague what tranny is good to swap in?
you CAN swap in an LS, but you dont have to. there is nothin wrong with the LT1, i love the low end torque of the LT1 and the sound. im not racing my car, so i just enjoy the LT1 for what it is, a decent engine.
Ive got a 600HP LT1 in the shop. They are great engines. The only thing I dont like about them is the tuning software. HP Tuners got me spoiled. If I were to modify an LT1 I would get a 24x setup.
All they need is the 24x swap. And forged 12:1:1 396 lt1 700lift cam. Around 600crank power . Call it a day lol.
Ive heard great things from the Torquehead setups. Ill try one out someday
I'm getting a 98-02 trans am as my 1st car can't wait for my schools reaction :D
EDIT: I forgot to say this but I now have my red 02 ws6 and its amazing
They are awesome cars. My only advice to you is to be careful these cars slide out very easily especially in the rain. Take it to an autox and you will learn a ton on how to handle it in a slide. They are great cars with great performance potential! Oh and one other thing. Dont speed over 6mph in the fast lane. Thats where cops shoot radar 99% of the time. I wish someone told me when I was in HS.
Camaro Rick late reply my bad thanks for looking out
Dave Rodriguez I got my fbody Camaro Z running when I was 19-1/2 and I’ll tell you honestly that I’m glad it wasn’t my first car. If it was I’d probably be in a jail or without a license. That said be super careful. These cars will get away from you.
GunGuyTKD will do man thanks
Ditto be careful in the rain with these, they seriously slide stupid easy!
My little bro had a 95 CamaroSS and I still own a 98 FORMULA LS1 6spd, Love it so much
Great video! I love the 4th gens, bought my 99 Camaro SS ..21 years ago, brand new off the showroom floor!
Cant wait to see the build man thanks!
I love them so much thats why I got a 4th gen camaro and a trans am lol
Best thing is the absolutely timeless design and the few electronics which makes them repairable as well.
You beat me to it. I considered doing a vid on why I like my Camaro. Yours came out excellent. Go man go!
Everyone has a different view of them. Id like to hear yours too. Thanks J
4gen f-bodys rock!👍😎🤘
Thanks! 4th Gens are a great platform. The OG LS modders dream since 98
I can’t agree more.
I appreciate that, hope you get well soon. I agree stock is plenty and retains the value of the car. Would love to see the car. Be safe!
Black 93 m6 owner here. Bough it in 2000, still have it. Its in storage though at the moment. Your car is what I would like to do with mine! So nice.
Thanks, I love these cars. The M6 is an awesome transmission. I bet its fun.
During 2014 i decide to replace the old factory springs with new ones they were done after 178 thousands miles of Pa roads.
sold mine about 6 months ago.... and im about to buy it back from the same guy. Can't replace a the feel of one of these cars
True
Couldn’t agree more man. I love my 97 Z. Rebuilt a stock LT1 in it. Although now I wish I had put a cam in when I rebuilding it!
I wanted to put the CC 306 cam in mine when I was planning on rebuilding it. I love the big cam sound in these cars.
Camaro Rick me too. They actually sound good with the stock cam but way better with a bigger cam. I was leaning towards LT4 hotcam in mine because I wouldn’t have to do as many supporting mods. but as long as I’m going to cam it I mine as well get a bigger one and do it right.
love it. just bought a 98 camaro with an lq4 --t56 this week! loving it so far
Great looking Camaro I’m currently nodding a 93 Firebird that I bought a month ago. This will be my 5th 4th gen.
This is one of the best cars to customize. And they look way better than the new ones. By far!! One of my favorite cars
Andy Frye keep telling yourself that buddy
Andy Frye I mean those are all the overrated gens, but they do look decent.
I love my 93, they really are a good driving car. And there is nothing like taking the T-tops out on a beautiful day and going for a drive.
I love F bodies. They have aged very well.
Awesome Camaro. I had a 1998 Z28 and a 2002 Trans Am. Currently have a 1980 and 1999 Trans Am. I had the 1980 Trans Am since 1996.
Thanks man, I love 4th gens a lot but I also love the 2nd gens. I want to get one someday. Thanks for checking the video out!
Paceta80 Nice! My first car was a 91 Firebird. I have a 80 Formula now. Want a 4th gen so bad. Always Loved these cars.
Aerodynamic; futuristic; bad-asstic!
Very nice! Love the black & dark tint, good looking car.
Thanks Matt! Im real happy with it.
Aero dynamics and easy to build very comfortable.
Makes me miss my camaro a lot, had a 97 ss for about 13 years, heads headers cam, always ran great, thanks for the video ..
Ive always loved the LT1 SS cars, I want to put an LT SS spoiler on mine. Thanks for checking it out!
Yes you should totally put a ss spoiler on it, i had the same rims and hood scoop, seats said 30th anniversary, my first sports car. Only problem i ever had was the neutral safety switch went out once and a thermostat failed to open, 167 thousand miles on it when i sold it..
Thanks for your story , I have a 94 model with a procharger set up . It is so much fun and best of all it is different .
I got rid of 93 camaro for a 2002 camaro back in 2002. My 2002 was my first brand new car. I miss it! I am an idiot.

I have one cuz that was the car on my posters in my room when I was a kid. 93-02, I was 13-22. Love my 97 Z I have now.
I had a 97 with a hardtop. Sold it and bought a truck when my oldest was born. I miss that old red Camaro
Those hard tops are hard to come by these days. I have a 02 SS you might like
I do not know why but I love 96-97 SS Camaros.
Beautiful ending love my '98 👌🏻
I gotta 2000 3.8 L v6 cammed and that car rips. They're still popular and for good reason too.

That's a beautiful car! You've done a fine job on it. I have one almost a match to it. But not as pretty. It's a 95 with a LT1, 6 speed, t-tops and all SLP options. I admit I don't know much about f bodies. I bought it this way. I assumed it was a true SS. But I was told they didn't make the SS option available until 96, so I don't know. I love it anyway :) Thanks for sharing your beauty here.

Thanks! Love the convertibles they are a lot of fun.
I own a '97 t-top edition despite having the 3.8 V6 it runs great for having 181 thousand miles on the clock. Bought it used in 2003, i tossed the stock cat for a flowmaster hi flow convertor then added their american thunder cat back exhaust definitely helped in sound & performance. Then added MSD coil paks with their 8.5mm ignition wires. Being a automatic changed the tranny oil & went with Royal Purple Max ATF 4which i've used in this 'bird since '03 stuff is good. Changed the rear gear oil too also Royal Purple 75W90 oil. Gear ratio is 3.23 factory. Decent gears for a sometimes daily driver. Tied the sub frame with them frame connectors it's amazing just how much frame twist there is in these cars camaro/bird!!
The 3.8 was a great engine! I used to have a 92 with a 3.1 I wish I still had it. with all the room in the front there is plenty of room for a turbo! I love T-top cars also. Subframes were one of my first mods too. Sounds like you have yours under control. Keep at it!

I am happy to have one
I’m just waiting for the 3.8 to blow in mine so I can throw in a mild cammed iron block lq9 🤞🏽🥴
You will be waiting a while. Those motors are pretty good. I would just build it and begin the swap when you have all the parts. That 3.8 will become a good core for someone
I’ve got an 02 RS auto. Even though it’s a v6 it’s a blast with the cherry red and the t tops. Love that car
They are great cars, especially for the money right now. The T-tops make them iconic as well.
I'm saving for a LS3 and Trans right now on my 97 6-speed Z with SS package. Mine is also a coupe. Everyone loves my car. I do have power windows and will be installing a windowtrix relay kit to fix the issue, along with new motors. Nice ride Man. Very clean.
Great choice of motor. My friend is doing something similar with his Trans-Am. LS3 nice exhaust and its done!
I had a 95 Z28 and a 2002, both 6sp's. And both black as well, wish i still had one of them!
Really nice looking Camaro good job!!👍🏼
I had 96' Z28 and pounded on it pretty hard and it took it. Miss that car.
The first time I've seen manual windows in a 4th gen z28
Cool video. Like the spec. Very clean with the black and aluminum 5 stars. Looking into gettin a fourth gen to replace my 2002 Ford Focus that's gotten me for $20k in repairs. Looking at New Edge Mustang too. Figure I'm paying Coupe Repair bills, might as well get some coupe parts upgrades too. Happy Hooning Rick.
I’ve had my 4th gen over 5 years now. I sold it for a short while and lost my ass buying it back because I wanted it back so much. I tried a 2012 challenger for awhile and it just didn’t compare to my camaro
I have a system for these years. It is a direct fit and of near cleveland ohio will help with installation. Kicker 12s and a 5 ch amp.
The L32 WITH A 2 STAGE NITROUS EXPRESS IS A V8 KILLER FYI
Nice Camaro and the doughnuts was tight
Very clean, very simple example of an f body..I just sold my '02 SS for complicated reasons, but it made a lasting impression on me...the c5 z06 is in my near-future to replace the SS! I will always love 4th gens though...nicely handled donuts! I did the same when I had mine :P
I've always loved the C5's. I've worked on a ton of them. They have tons of potential
I have a 1999 Trans Am which is for sale right now on CarGurus. I bought it new in June of 1999 and have owned it for 20 years now. It has many upgrades including an Alpine/Infinity custom sound system, a Moser 12 bolt 3.42 gear rear end, Hotchkiss rear suspension, SLP intake and SS exhaust system.

Rick I got a 02 WS6 Trans Am last year. Had to drive from VA all the way to Arkansas for it though. I was considering walbro originally as a fuel setup as well. Then I found out that the 98-02 has a the bucket submerged fuel pump. So I will be going with the racetronix setup instead. I've been a long time fan of fbodies. Diehard Trans Am addict. Hopefully my setup will be done by September at the worst. Keep up the good work.
When I did the dual walbros I had to delete the bucket, If I would change one thing I would install a holley hydramat. I've got the raceteonix hot wire kit on mine. When o go turbo I'm gonna do some more upgrades including larger lines from the pump and clean up the under hood lines as well.
Camaro Rick nice. I was looking at the APS twin turbo setup. If I thought about going that route. Now I'm leaning more towards a procharger.
Man I need you to help me do a LSX swap on my 1986 Camaro IROC-Z, love this car man, brings back memories in the 90s lol.
Excellent video , subscribed. I’ve had a 98 Z28 m6 full bolt ons and now have a 97 SS m6 stock engine, most of the chassis and suspension has been gone over with aftermarket improvements
Thanks man! Love the M6, I want to find another t56 for another project
I had a 3rd gen which was ok but it had only a 305. I ended up selling it because I didnt have the money to fix it up. I bought a 98 z28 with the sport package and its been great for over 15 years. The car handles great even with a solid rear axle the suspension was set up well and maintains control when going fast. I was thinking of putting a turbo kit on it and its easy 700 hp. Still it would cost money but for the money you get a crazy fast car. I'm still holding off now it since the economy is having issues right now.
Couldnt agree more. Ive got a lot of things on hold rn as well. Great handling cars with a lot of potential
The last 20 seconds of this video is amazing!!
These cars would make excelent drift cars if a manufacturer would step up and make angle kits / modified spindles. Thanks for watching
Camaro Rick how long did it take you to run the car like that
Ive owned it since 2003, Got a lot of practice with going to local autocross events with unintentional skids. One location we had access to a wet skid pad but most practice came from other rwd cars in the snow lol
Camaro Rick lol right on!!!
Manual windows are the best thing ever, I wish they were optional on every single car.
Lol Light weight and will work forever! All the 1LE early 4th gens had roll up windows

T-Tops are rigid too! Don't hate....
No hate ment, one of the reasons these cars are so awesome is they are one of if not the last T-top car produced. T-top 4th gens are already verry rigid.
@@CamaroRick the t tops were also much improved in the 4th gens. they dont really leak. the have a seal around the glass and a seal around the body, double sealed. the glass tops on the third gens are well known to leak. the 4th gen fbody probably has the best t top setup of any t top car ever made.
This is exactly how i want my camaro to look and sound like
Thanks bro, Borla Catback with electric cutout was one of my favorite mods next to long tube headers!
3rd gens are my favorite. My dad has had alot in his life and just got the cleanest one hes ever had about 6 months ago, its a 91 rs t top with a 305. Since ive seen his i fell in love with them. I just bought a 91 rs t top with a 3.1..... gonna be swapping ti either a built 350 or a ls. But its ginna be my 2nd vehicle. My first is a 97 ranger 4.0. Im 18. Paid fir everything by myself.
That's awesome man my 1st was a 92 RS 3.1 I wish I still had it. I also had a Ranger they are great trucks. I was going to swap in the 5.0 from my Explorer but I decided to keep it together.
No more Optispark!
Opti delete kit installed!
96 ss is still the most incomparable car i've ever been in, the no power window/lock model with every option from SLP. plus t-top.
I’ve got a Sunset Orange Metallic 01 SS and I absolutely love my car. I get some hate because it’s a auto but it’s what I like
Nothing wrong with a quick shifting consistent auto. I've done quite a few mild cam and 3600 stall setups that turned out pretty damn quick!
This coming weekend im gonna pick up a 94 Z28 6speed for 3k$ it has around 101k miles and a California title (No crazy rust) looks really clean from the looks but im really looking forward to owning my first v8.
I remember picking up mine, took it straight to the beach. Was a great summer. The torque was so nice! Congrats.
Good price. I paid 2,900. My 94 had 98,000 miles. Clean. Only rust was a little surface rust on rear end. That's pretty common in Detroit but mine got replaced.
Ryan Semrau I’m in Detroit also, I just bought my Z28 for $2800 and I’m loving my first v8 !
Acdeportivo2 wait and get a ls1 car not a lt1 you’ll thank me later
Jrebel702 lt1 looks better. And sounds better
I have a 95 z/28 of my own and I absolutely love it
For me 100% gotta have t tops, just my opinion
definetly not, more weight, more to leak, more to flex and more bullshit in general.love the hardtops 5 to 1
Im with you. If it aint ttops, i dont want it.
Insane finish
