Behringer K2 Overview & Review

The K2 from Behringer is a clone of the Korg MS-20 Semi-Modular Analog Synth from the 70's. This version from Behringer is in a EuroRack form factor but also works as a standalone desktop synth.

Hi everyone. I have just purchased the K2, what a lovely synth! Can anybody help me figure out on how to patch up the K2 properly so that it reacts to mod wheel action on my controller keyboard and creates the classic "vibrato" effect when turning the mod wheel up. I cannot seem to get the patching procedure right to have this work. Any advice is much appreciated by me! Thank you guys! Tom

Now I understand your question. I just bought one of these. Why can't we find any answers on the mod wheel??

How do you send a output to total to control the mid wheel like the ms20?

Ordered a guitar and somebody added this synth to my parcel due to a mistake. Haven't been able to run it yet. Is it possible to control this thing via USB and PC or do I need a proper keyboard with MIDI connection?

yes definitely. in this video the machine is being controlled via USB with a PC.

You can control it with a guitar, using the External Signal Processor

So far nothing has worked except running from Noise Generator. USB connection has been tested today togther with SynthTool V2.0.0 but there is no Sequencer feature available. Guitars don't really work when there is no unconventional adapter to go to 3.5mm jack. I am going to get a MIDI cable and connect it to a Yamaha keyboard once I am back home.
