This video was one of the most beautiful videos I’ve seen in a long time, with all the awful things going on in the world and everyone being mad all the time. I felt like I had a safe place to be, so thank you for making this.

Beautiful. A work of art. So refreshing to see handtools used in carpentry. Real and authentic, without all the noise and dust. It reminds me of my favourite Person who also was a carpenter. ❤

That is a wonderful use of something that would otherwise be overlooked. The care and craftsmanship make that a very special box. Also, I would like to say thank you for the idea of holding the plough plane in a vise and running the wood over it rather than the other way around. I've had issues with small pieces in the past and I think your idea is brilliant.

I think what you make look easy, but is actually quite difficult to do it right, is your stock preparation. Some that don't woodwork, or those that havent prepped stock by hand, might miss how difficult this step actually is; but I'm always impressed by this stage in your videos. I used to dimension my lumber with a mix of a hand plane, planer and table saw. Having lost access to most of the power tools, dimensioning lumber with only hand tools is definitely a challenge in itself that I have yet to overcome. Your joinery is superb, but I am always equally impressed with your stock prep by hand.

Until it doen't and figure another way. I like how you put both halves of a panel in the vice together, so the angles compliment each other, to make a flat panel. NICE
