MNBound Eagles Inquisitive M18 Notices Cam 6-20-18

M18 was the first of the bobbleheads to pop-up & gaze beyond the nest bowl. Curious, observant, always watching Dad & Mom to learn the ways of the eagle's world. Many thanks to the cam operator. Recorded at 1: 42pm CST.

I wonder why the camera caught M-18's attention. Reflection in the lens maybe? Does it make sounds? Once interested, M-18's focus and concentration are a wonder to behold.

Hi Linda! I saw a photo of the cam after it was installed. It has an egg shaped white dome on top and the cam itself is metallic so it might catch the light. I too wonder if they see their reflection in the lens. I love the way M18 watches and studies things. I think M18 might be one smart eagle! Thanks for watching Linda :)

I hadn't thought of them seeing their reflection. That would get their attention for sure. I agree M-18 is super smart. I love watching him ponder things. I'm sure he's thinking deep eagle thoughts. Thanks for the reply. :)

I think M18 is a male. Just my eagle-intuition lol. I don't know about M17, though - I don't have a strong sense either way.
