MNBound Eagles M18's Gone Exploring 6-19-18

Where oh where are you hiding? M18 was not seen during a camera panning. M17 sits alone. It's unknown if M18 fledged or was in the upper canopy of the tree. M17 & M18 are 11 weeks old. Recorded at 2: 30pm & 4: 15pm CST

What a lovely comment Shireen! The differences between these two are subtle. M18 is slightly lighter that M17 and rose-y brown. M17 is darker and has more of a blackish cast to the feathers, especially around the head. The tails are different. M18 has lighter tips on the tail feathers and a thin pale edge on the sides of two of the broad tail feathers.Their behavior is different too.
