  • M17 & M18 have experienced plenty of extreme weather in their first 90 days: high gust windstorms; record high heat; the "Friday the 13th Snowstorm" and record breaking rainfall. The high water makes fishing difficult - Mom & Dad are working double hard to provide enough prey. Recorded from 10: 10am ~ 10: 45am CST. Edited.

Good grief. It's not easy being an eagle. They don't even know if the howling wind is going to end. I hope the weather improves so Mom and Dad can get fish.

Me too, Linda! Fishing has been difficult due to high water. There was a quick panning 2 days ago and I've never seen the water in pond so high. The little island in the middle is completely covered. In year's past ducks and geese used to nest on the island. Not this year. Thanks so much for watching :)

Poor babies! Better keep their wings closed cause if they open them, they may end up in NY! lol
