Can a r7 be a beginner ? I know how to ride quads and dirt bikes but only done it on the sand
@@kudossuazo it really just depends on your preference. I say do a lot of research because the r7 is barely a beginner bike, it can be. It just depends on the person and your style of riding. If your unsure, I say get the r3 or mto3 or ninja 400, there really fun, still feel fast, and easy to learn on. It really just depends on you. So do research

I have had a 2022 60th Anniversary edition for 11 months now (bought a older stock one new from a dealer). I love it... It makes a great street bike. I have an old Triumph 1050 which I use for touring as well.

Nice man! I find a lot of aftermarket exhausts make it sound too "dirtbikey". I've seen some simple free mods drilling some holes in the stock exhaust that add some loudness to it that just may scratch that itch for many people. I had a CBR300R for a couple years and looking at the R7 as my next bike one day.
I’m also thinking about getting the r7 too in black. I want something new and different. Ducati v2 and Daytona 675 are also on my mind but I think the r7 is what ima go for. Buying a new liter bike is too much and buying more used r1s is something I’m not doing anymore lol
Ducati looks sexy but they are horrible to drive, except you have a lot of money and time
And also I think R7 is better than R1 because where are you going to drive that fast and for the R7 you need to more things, turns and just driving is way more fun than with the R1
Is your O2 sensor at the tip exposed ? I just want to know if that’s normal or is that black cover supposed to be flush at the tip on the O2 sensor
it just sits in there snug with the bolt, as long as it’s tight ur good it doesn’t have to be super flush cuz you’ll run the risk of stripping the bolt if it’s over tightened
Love the look of the R7 and am looking at getting one for my first bike. What's the minimum height requirement for the R7? I'm only 5'6".
I’m 5’8 and on my tip toes I can almost flat foot with both feet so you should be able to tip toe or flat foot on one foot

Currently have a Derbi Senda and will probably be getting a used R125 in half a year when I hopefully have the A1 license(European driving license system)

I adore my R7, the only bad thing about it is that the paint and clear coat on it is atrocious. I had swirls days into owning it and I literally baby my bike. not sure why Yamaha couldn’t apply 1 or 2 addtl clear coats, the quality of the paint job is just simply horrible.

One tip. Once u get enough money try stock market or real estate. Trust me u will be in a more comfortable position in life brother
traded for a few years and managed to pay off a portion of debt, unfortunately i ran out of capital as i invested everything i have into various small businesses i run along with running into legal trouble and lawsuits for personal reasons. the goal is to hopefully get into real estate and back into investing in the market within a year or so
Nice vid. I like the looks but I know after a year or 2 I’d be bored of it. Roads are too flat and straight where I live.

The dealbreaker for me is the realiability. The yamaha is gold solid, whereas the italians will cost more frustration, money and riding time while chilling in the repairshops 🙈
@@theabsolutealphathat isn’t that accurate to be honest. The aprilia rs660 is a really reliable middle weight sport bike
They launched it knowing it had major a engine issue, no thank you don't trust Aprillia. Also Yamaha has a more aggressive rider position out the gate.
@@Mt03Vic_ No it's not lmao. I was strongly considering getting an RS660 and even in groups I'm in they have issues with the bike in terms of leaks and failures in general. If you have an Aprillia dealer near you it's not so bad because you can have it serviced by them. But if you don't you're kinda screwed. I've done a LOT of research into the RS660. It seems like reliability has improved a bit more lately but again not having a dealer near me kinda blows and the fact that you almost need to have one near you is a big negative that a lot of people don't seem to catch when looking to get the bike. Because if you watch literally any youtuber who has one, they run into issues all the time. As well if you follow any groups.

@@RickyMoto and this is why I don't understand most seiko modders. Why would you want your final result looking like a 50 dollar dhgate replica? If you want a replica just buy the nice ones you can't eve tell apart from the real thing, if you want a seiko mod than make something unique lol.

@@redsview yeah but at least buy something worth the price cause I'm sure he paid more than he would otherwise for a dhgate rep, like with a hundred buck you could buy something from casio that lasts, maybe even one of those edifice models that look classy with integrated bracelets. Seiko on the other hand is overrated for the money, their quality isn't that good anymore, especially seiko 5. And most other stuff in this budget range just slaps movements from other brands and outsourced cases bracelets and what not and the end product just doesn't compete with these casios.

Hey Ricky can u do a video of all the problems u have had with the r7 ?? I’m in the process of contemplating getting a r7 cbr600rr triumph Daytona 675 I know the r7 is only two cylinders but very ergonomic on fuel just want to get your full opinion on the r7 and see if they have any problems besides the fact that they are two cylinder and have no top end power
i don’t have many complaints about the r7, it’s also been quite reliable and haven’t given me a headache at all. i will say there are many more options out there that can out perform the R7 for the same price. if you’re looking for more power the options you’ve mentioned like cbd600 or daytona 675 are great options. i stuck with yamaha more so for its styling and quality. i don’t have any experience on other brands besides yamaha and kawasaki so i can’t say for sure how those bikes feel to ride/sit on. but the r7 i will say feels like its feels stiff while turning yet nimble. seating position is comfy but requires getting a bit of used to coming from an r3 since its higher and slightly more aggressive. i do feel that the seat is a bit sloped forward so i often find myself scooting back on the seat during rides so i wont be so pushed up against the gas tank
