I think that fender came out nice. Especially with what you're working with. Brent you are a master of seeing things others don't. Don't ever apologize for talking too much. Personally I appreciate hearing the thought process that goes into your fabrication. You talk about blindly cutting, but in reality you are cutting with a pretty well thought out plan
I enjoy your thought process. Reckoning a figuring is a major part of a build, and i find your elimination of problems really works. Dont worry about the talking....most of us sit here answering you. Thank you.
Glad to see you back doing what you do best and I want to say hi to you all. I wish you a blessed year and peace comfort and good health. God bless and have a blessed evening and night
Brent, No need to apologize for the real deal of hotrod and kustom building. Its a great thing that you do a video showing the real stuff. Time lapse vids are great for the viewers to see rapid results. But you have to take time and do a realtime like video too. Reason I say this is because so many people watch time lapse's and get intrigued and want to hammer a project out but then quickly get disgouraged when they find out building something does happen in a 45ish min. Video. Viewers need a slap of reality to know what it takes to do it. I haven't been involved in a full kustom build for almost 20+ yrs since my friend and I turned Scrape the 39 lincoln zephyer fiberglass body into the sedan delivery prototype for terry cook back in the early 00's. That was a crap ton of thought process etc. Thanks for sharing! Cheers!
I'm glad you didn't time lapse this because this is how I build talk run back and forth That's how things were built back then trial and error so I liked how this was filmed it gave people more what you do and what it takes to do is when you timelap something they lose a lot of this I didn't find this boring at all I'm used to doing the same stuff when I build things I think the truck is turning out awesome
Hello Brent, I enjoy the creative process. You look at stuff that I write off as crap and you make it work. I’m not into doing the fab so I have no real idea but love watching people put it all together. I follow Make It Kustom for the same content.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! Best wish to you Brent and your family!!!! Thank you for your content here, you don't know how much I look forward to your videos!!!! Love the International.... when I was a teenager the neighbor down the street had one that was unrestored and original, I always thought they were a good looking truck
Ian I like the way you are going with the fenders. It has a better look. I know you will figure it out. God bless and keep up the good work. I like watching you work and that no matter what happens you always manage to smile and joke about it. I try to watch ever episode cause you make my day
Creativity in progress! I have faith in what you come up with, will be just right! It will just challenge the imagination a little bit! If anyone can do it---YOU CAN! Enjoyed the talk! LOL!
With all the room in the front of them fenders , you could french in some like 37 headlights . Just a thought . Can't wait for you to get back on the coupe from the fire
What do think about body dropping the whole thing? Raise the fenders up until the peak is even with the belt line of the hood. That may hide some of the bubbly-nes of the big fenders.
I think the wing looks fine, you should become a contemporary metal sculpture, I would never have thought that one up. Perhaps if you tried plain steel rims it would look more the part? Great progress 👍
At 44:33; watching you and the music reminded me of a series of shows documenting some Cubanes trying to maintain or rebuild their cars while under the US, Cuban embargo. Their definitely innovative people.
15:11 love the music, very pink Floyd-esque. I can never see your vision, but you always pull it off in my opinion.. love your videos. You always have great music too
I kinda dug the whole process of envisioning. I thought you might round rod the opening on the big fenders, but I think these will look good when ya have 'em built
Excellent Video Brent :) , Pablo The Supervisor Dog 🐕 , would trim up back fenders so open door then have room put running board too! But up to if want try that out!
The Plan is Figure it out as I go, Now is that really a Plan? You are a hoot Brent, Love watching your videos. Stay Warm. D OHHH Cutting up the old fender to blend with the new one what???? You are scaring me now. Ah Ha I like the wire frame idea and fill in with blending segments, Maybe you could do that? I should say only YOU could do that. OK OK that did come together, push back 1 or so and start welding it up. You have a bed to fix too that will be another mess what do have for rear fenders??? Take care and stay Warm. D&M
The front fenders are from a 1937 1/2 ton truck, and the back end of the fenders meet the running board at half way through the doors. And they used larger, fatter tires, remember back then most wheels were 17" - 20" wheels 🛞
Seeing the thickness of that Bondo reminded me of my auto body instructor reminding us that Bondo should be no thicker then 1/32nd of an inch after Feathering. This requirement was nearly imposable if you worked in a production body shop, but it was intended for us to become skillful in our metalworking skills for custom and restoration work. ;-) Btw - I trained in auto mechanics and autobody but didn't become a mechanic or work in a body shop. Hm, some time ago, I made a comment about "clocking" the fender back, "Great minds think alike." ;-D
Diamond T or International ? Diamond T pick up trucks are Extremely rare. They mostly made Large construction T's, Pick Ups,well. Love what you are doing to work it out. Ty for taking us along
The more I look at those fenders, the more I think it would look REALLY COOL if you gave it 36-37 Cord 812 style retractable headlights.... and maybe even Cord 812 style exhaust exiting through the side of the hood.... I know it would be a lot of work but I think it would look cool.
Great viewing love to hear how you’re thinking it out The splitting the wing and the patch you’ve got on and they’ve probably stretched it on one side why the gap between the door and the offender is so small
You have more commitment than me bro. I'd have pulled that old body off and baled on that project. I'd have sat a nice early 50s chevy on that s10 frame and called it a day.
I think you're getting those fenders to the right look. I was wondering about the I watched all of them from them. I should have known you'd do great things. I was wondering about your 1937 Ford Pick up? I watched all the episodes from mock up to completion. I'm just wondering about it. I love that truck.
1ST Happy New Year and 2nd could you run a 15" or maybe a 16" steel wheel to fill in the fender gap once you get both the fender matching like the passenger
Brent for reference. Mechum Actions Kansas City 2024 Sold A Diamond T 1 Ton. red color. Should Be Able To Look Up On Website. Had good video of front and rear fenders. Maybe it will help
Kind of wondered if the small opening fender could of went inside and clamped on to see if it fit better. Going to the outside seemed to just not work at all for the finish look.... hard one to figure for sure
video not a drag, I enjoy the problem solving, if you want to call it that, LOL but I think like you said your working with a hot mess. You can only get what it basically given to work with. It definitely looks better than what you had, so yeah I think your on the right track! as well.

Your vision for this stuff is amazing! I was struggling to follow and all of a sudden it comes together!
I agree, Larry.
Building your own fender filler with a rod bead would be the ticket. Your vision is incredible!
Taking shape nicely Brent--then again everything in the shop is taking shape nicely!😆
Much better fender combo. With the right size tire it will be mint! 👍😎
Glad to see you back doing what you do best and I want to say hi to you all. I wish you a blessed year and peace comfort and good health. God bless and have a blessed evening and night
Yes Brent!! I'm liking the front passenger fender now!!! Good call !!!
I enjoy watching your thought process and the end creations are amazing
I enjoy the thought process!

If anyone can pull off blending those fenders together it is you Brent.
The beginning of a really cool build. Thanks for the video Brent
Happy new year from all your fans in Australia

Put the right size tire and wheel with more dish. Build in headlights to the front of fender. 😊
A thousand % improvement . Well done !

You're making it work...looks really good, and a bigger tire will work, too.
Much better on a big screen 💯 Digging how its goingThanks for sharing 😎full skirts front and back
Ian I like the way you are going with the fenders. It has a better look. I know you will figure it out. God bless and keep up the good work. I like watching you work and that no matter what happens you always manage to smile and joke about it. I try to watch ever episode cause you make my day
Who is Ian?
@todddenio3200 he's talking about Ian on a other channel that does something with old vehicles like what Brent is doing.
Awesome build
The fender is looking a lot better Brent! If you move the cab back an inch, you will be golden!
Creativity in progress! I have faith in what you come up with, will be just right! It will just challenge the imagination a little bit! If anyone can do it---YOU CAN! Enjoyed the talk! LOL!
Thanks!
It's nice that you think out loud, it helps us to keep up and then the why is answered.
Brent I must say that I really enjoyed this episode. Really had me laughing. Thanks sir!
I have a 40 Diamond T project with the look you're trying to achieve. Shorten the door at the bottom & the door will open fine.
With all the room in the front of them fenders , you could french in some like 37 headlights . Just a thought . Can't wait for you to get back on the coupe from the fire
Its gonna work just fine just like all your projects 👍
Thanks for sharing kool going to watch on home screen. Always something good going on. 😁
It looks way better than it did . The pup is so faithful. Mans best friend. Thanks Brent!
Well Brent, I like listening to your brainstorming session, this is part of the build too !
Thanks brent
Looks so good the way you play with what you have
Happy new year! I’m kinda jealous of all of your parts.
I enjoy watching you figure it out on the fly. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
HAPPY NEW YEAR from the Black Forest in Germany! ❄☃🎊
Both your plays for the bed and the fenders is great.
Happy New Year, I think you did the right thing, it looks gooder. Cheers.
Paper it for look, change as needed!

Hello Brent, I really like the look your going for. Little more fine tuning, and it will be mint. 👌 Take care 👍
Happy New year to you and yours. Take care.
You'll get it done. Great job
Tack patent of well arch and fab on original fenders
Also hope your holidays up in Canada were good.
good show the right fender looks good now.like always Keep on Truckin.or in this case Slicing and Diceing.😎👍
Where the door hits you can cut it and reverse the curve to keep the look and have clearance for the doors
Thanks, brother. Great video.
Thanks for sharing 😀👍

Older fenders look easy but yeah they are tricky. Good start!

Being a country boy, that truck would look great on a 4x4 chassis with this fenders
Great work. I have been following you since the beginning, I mean, you can find an old 50's tricycle and make it awesome

I have faith in you. It's going to look really cool.... when your done.
You had a couple good ideas, take some pit of the center, wire form what you want to see then add metal to that.
Looking forward for the next video.😊
like the fender add on getting there
You have more commitment than me bro. I'd have pulled that old body off and baled on that project. I'd have sat a nice early 50s chevy on that s10 frame and called it a day.
Fun stuff!!
Brent, if'n U believe, WE believe !!
Looking good 👍👍

I was wondering about your 1937 Ford Pick up? I watched all the episodes from mock up to completion. I'm just wondering about it. I love that truck.
Much better, have you got something you can cut the Headlight Buckets from and put them in the Fenders ?
cool stuff , not boring .
Good video
You could flip the fenders on the back so the longer part is facing forward.
