As much as I am enjoying the Studebaker work, I have a deep appreciation for the work done your grandson is doing on the floors of the Buick. You and Ester are a lucky, you both set a good example for your grand children to follow by teaching them a valuable skills like welding and body repair. You are a true master, you make it look easy, I know it isn’t, that is why I watch what you do.
Hi there Brett looking good mate great idea mate it's makes it easy for you be of rooting around but pays off in End mate it won't be long for you driving the doors off it mate
I wouldn't mind you continuing on this Stude Brent, I think it looks cool and has a lot of potential. You don't see many Studeamino's around. Making it as nice as the GMC truck works for me!
I'm really liking the Stude. We already know who's most likely to own it after you and it isn't me. The build is true to name (Halfass Customs) and many things are not done to perfection but one look says it was crafted by someone who knew what he is doing. A custom you can drive and park anywhere because scratches and bird droppings can't hurt it and it will never need waxing plus washing is optional.
You know it really doesn't matter what you work on it's always great to watch what's happening at Brent's shop.you are totally amazing as a artist in every area of kustom fab stuff. My time well spent. Great video.
Mr Brent. First thanks for the new badge. That was unexpected but appreciated. For 5 yrs I've been watching your you tube videos. I love what you do. Please let Austin he's doing an awesome job on his Buick. The stud Camino . Is coming along nicely. As always Mr Brent thanks for the video
Transmission crossmember, in lieu of 1x2, two lengths of 1x1 stitched together is very strong. 4 vertical walls vs only 2. I tested the theory when i was building sled decks. 700 lb sleds teetering on a 6 foot span. Austin, just like not leaning over hot welds, you dont want to lay in wet sealant or paint. Floor looks mint!
Ian if you want to use a bench seat redo the hump on the seat to match the hump on the floor. Just an ideal God bless and have a blessed evening and night
I love how you just laugh at problems, Brent. It is inspiring. I am learning temperance through you and your attitude to solving problems. Next time I have a problem I am going to laugh first and then just figure out how to deal with it with a successful work a round. Works for you, so that's what I am going to try and do in future! 😅 😊
Amazing floor panel fabriction Mr. Brent. Intead of bolting screw on the break fluid resrvor cover, it would be nice if the cover was fabricated in a sliding locking mechanism mode or flup flop type cover. It makes it easier to check fluid levels when needed. Thank you sir
Its great to have a plan in your head and build to what the space and position allow . You are a master builder and the Stude is really taking shape . Love your format , casual but concise , till the next episode, Stuart in Ontario ..
Just a hint as truck mechanic we were always trained to put any bolts from the top down so if the nuts worked loose the bolts would always be there, not somewhere down the road.
Thanks for insuctional video. Great to know. I would screw some mud sheilds over brake switch and where brake lines enter master. For those dirt roads. Prevention better than cure. Good luck..👍✌️🇬🇧
I like all his video's. This time even though I liked it, I thought of Freddy Kruger with the hat and striped shirt... Good thing it was solid color stripes don't want to go full on Kruger... LOL. Fricken cool hat though, I've always like the style..
You have such skill as a problem solver. You scan the problem and the parts on hand with your eyeballs and out pops the solution. I really admire that. Just a question for my knowledge. I know the old cars had the under the floor master and it seems to work. Maybe incorrectly I've been schooled to not have brake lines above the master for possible air issues when bleeding. Any concern at all Brent?
You know more than you let on. Your ease with the fast cut shows it. I'm sure it has surpassed your expectations. The whole new shop has brought out a new you.
Speedway motors used to sell a universal firewall mounted brake pedal assembly that was very short and I'm sure it would fit behind your dash. With your fab skills you could make one. I don't have a part # for a diagram.
Fashion a brake stem grommet using tire sidewall, that hit me as you were saying you'll come up w/something. Bet you the tunnel really strengthened your flooring. Pablo is so expressive when he wags his head - the tail goes in the opposite direction. Is he an English hunting breed? If I had a dog I'd want one like him.
@33:00, Will you have to design some sort of weather protection for the rod end of the Master to keep out rain, salt, dirt etc. ruining the piston and bore?
Looks great, I asked on the last video if there is room for the transmission dipstick tube and shifter and I apologize if I was out of line I didn’t mean to insult you I apologize because I understand that this is what you do and I don’t
Watching you figure wich way to go, I wanted to tell you my vote was to use the original dash, but to extend it enough to use the swinging peddles.. As much as I have watched you do, extending a dash I have never seen.. Are you going to do anything to make the frame and body more ridged? A few weeks ago, you were lifting the front end and you could see that the body was flexing at the back of the cab on the drinkers side with the door open. You mentioned the body sag, but never anything more about it.
I enjoy how the original concept comes thru to the end product making each part do what it is suppose to do. The mixing of new and old and working together.
I like the swing pedal, could you cut the dash at the top flat area and just pull out 2 inches to and then fix the knobs and add some cool gags. I like the built look and the flat panel And the Studebaker signature name plate. D
If you're running out of those you got Everything to make more you should copy the one you do have that way you never run out of those brake pedal system
Brent put a new dash in that thing you've got plenty of them in the yard. Pick out a really nice one and stick her in there where you wanted to be. It's really not that big a thing I've changed plenty of dashes and the payoff is when you're done
Why not keep the dash that is already in it and bring it out away from the windshield some? Just 'extend' it inward towards the back of the car so that you increase the floor space needed for the pedals without actually having to replace anything?
Why can't you cut the dash at the corners so that you can bend out the dash toward the driver. So the bottom of the dash is pulled out where the top stops at the bend. Just a suggestion, maybe that can't be done.
Someone buy Brent a new set of step-bits! That one he was trying to blow through the floor with was duller than a mashed potato sandwich on white bread!
Considering that I'm 41 and facing a job loss, I'm reviewing my financial plan. What investments should I make with $425,000 saved for retirement, $10,000 in an HSA, and a property that could generate me an extra $250,000?
VENTURING into the trading world without the help of a profesionals, trading and expecting profit is like turning water into wine you would need a miracle.
My wife is willing to work for another 5 years if needed. Are we in good shape? Will we be okay if I begin withdrawing from Social Security when I'm 41 and my wife is 40? Should we hire a financial planner to help us navigate this?
These are crucial questions for a financial planner. I met mine at a NYSE summit, and with her help, my wife and I reallocated our $1.7M portfolio between a traditional IRA and a brokerage account. She's been making investments with our approval and has helped us recover twice our losses. We're holding steady and carefully navigating more markets
Is it time for a career shift or should I consolidate my investments into a single account? If I go for the latter, how do I do it right, and what could be the drawbacks? Plus, with a $200K property sale on the horizon, should I combine my investments or diversify them across different markets?

Just want to say keep up the good work and you will get it figured out. God bless and have a blessed evening and night to you all

Nice southern tech'n, up north eh! It is a pleasure to watch it all come together.
That's going to work out nicely ❤🎉
Can't wait to see it finish 😊
Coming along great Brent
Great job, I had an older gmc van with master below the floor
Amazing floor panel fabriction Mr. Brent. Intead of bolting screw on the break fluid resrvor cover, it would be nice if the cover was fabricated in a sliding locking mechanism mode or flup flop type cover. It makes it easier to check fluid levels when needed. Thank you sir

Like the room you have now.
Great stuff . Keep going on this build
Great build of a Studebaker UTE!
Just a hint as truck mechanic we were always trained to put any bolts from the top down so if the nuts worked loose the bolts would always be there, not somewhere down the road.
This is going to be really cool!
Bucket seats and a nice console.
Thanks for insuctional video. Great to know. I would screw some mud sheilds over brake switch and where brake lines enter master. For those dirt roads. Prevention better than cure. Good luck..👍✌️🇬🇧
thx Brent
I think it would be pretty sweet project to finish and paint. Kind of bad ass
Looks nice Brent
Coming together!
I'm ready for coupe action
Thank you..🙏🏽
I like all his video's.
This time even though I liked it, I thought of Freddy Kruger with the hat and striped shirt... Good thing it was solid color stripes don't want to go full on Kruger... LOL. Fricken cool hat though, I've always like the style..
You are number one because you do it all 😊😊😊
I like this project.
Happy Tuesday Canada 🇨🇦🛻🦮🐕🦺👍👍👍👍✌️
A simple, flat Studebaker dash like that might be cool in a Model A.
Thanks for sharing 😀👍
Looking good
Greetings Brent, good progress on the Stu, going to be a Kewl ride. Take care and stay safe 👍
Bring the coupe in.
She's coming along.
It's a lot of fun hanging out with you.Thank you
Brett it's looks like a beautiful
Mate
Looks great..

It continues to amaze me how Brent manages to solve everything and it still looks like it was originally made, as always a big thumbs up 👍👌
Good video
Great show bud, too bad you couldn't get a big rubber gromet for that brake pedal. See you next time.
You know more than you let on. Your ease with the fast cut shows it. I'm sure it has surpassed your expectations. The whole new shop has brought out a new you.
So true allways fun with new toys an toys
Awesome work as always there’s always a answer to a problem 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Looking good Brent nice job on the mound and Hunter car coming along well
Love the new floor etc, looks mint inside, but looks like hell outside!

@33:00, Will you have to design some sort of weather protection for the rod end of the Master to keep out rain, salt, dirt etc. ruining the piston and bore?
You could keep the dash, but move it backwards a few inches to make more room to whatever you need under there.
side mount the break pedal to the right side of the metal hump by welding a bracket like the boat would have.like a jet boat
Nice Fabrication 🌄 work, Brent. Really like the old BullitCamino build 😊😊😊
That dash is really cool!
Great job as always
Looks great, I asked on the last video if there is room for the transmission dipstick tube and shifter and I apologize if I was out of line I didn’t mean to insult you I apologize because I understand that this is what you do and I don’t
you can get another 1/2 inch of height if needed by flipping the tranny mount to the top side of the lower frame rail.
Watching you figure wich way to go, I wanted to tell you my vote was to use the original dash, but to extend it enough to use the swinging peddles.. As much as I have watched you do, extending a dash I have never seen..

That master looks just like the one on my 76 c10
Looking good 👍👍
Really like what you're doing with this car !
Muy bueno.
One request: Please reset your vice immovably onto your work bench?!
Hello there all your old plasma cutting sheets of steel could turn into iron art pieces for sale maybe ? love to brake blister.👍👍👍👍😜
42:50 Is this from Karl Fisher?
Keep up the good work ..
I just love it.
Could you make a sand tray for your power hammer
Don't forget the parachute 😮😮😅
Hi My Dear Friend Very Very Great Job Sir ❤❤❤❤❤
If you're running out of those you got Everything to make more you should copy the one you do have that way you never run out of those brake pedal system
Looks good👍
Go Job Dude, Sweet!!!...

😊
I might have cut the dash out and moved it the 2". I'm scared of those under the floor things unless it's a truck. 🙂
whooo hooo coup
Is the stroke length long enough for that master cylinder?
Rather than change the dash, just move the existing one out. You keep the Studie flavour and get the room you need. Just spitballin'....
Nice mime shirt.
Yes cach you later Peace out
I'm thinkin' no way is he putting that master cylinder up against that floor, but yep.
I think my brake pedal has a flat thick leather gasket attached to the pedal.
Why not keep the dash that is already in it and bring it out away from the windshield some? Just 'extend' it inward towards the back of the car so that you increase the floor space needed for the pedals without actually having to replace anything?
👋👋👋👋👋
am i the only one who watches the Nightmare on Halfass Kustoms street???hahaha....another great episode Brent!!!
Yep the Freddy shirt 😂
Haha respectful observation glad it’s only the hat and striped shirt
😂😂😂, the hat with the shirt,, yeah it's definitely Freddy
With that hat and shirt u look like freddy Kruger. Lol!!!!!!❤
Why can't you cut the dash at the corners so that you can bend out the dash toward the driver. So the bottom of the dash is pulled out where the top stops at the bend. Just a suggestion, maybe that can't be done.

Totally looks like Freddy
Awesome as Always Great Update... Where's Ester ? Miss Her Laugh :)
