Outofdarts also has a cage for it. So you can use your own choice of motors. The original one has the motors glued in unfortunately.

@@randomblueberry5019 not with a single stage micro flywheel setup. No matters what motors you put in. Dual stage maybe, but there's no cage for that (yet).
@@koenkooiman1490 i there a chance you could change the pushing mechanism to an automatic one (it would have to be really small) to make it full auto?
I think the Nightingale is a very excellent blaster that is going to be used in competitive enviroments as a promising secondary for a while. However, while I was thinking about the new and upcoming AEG blasters that are coming to the market, I ponder of when they are going to make an AEG pistol of some variety. It surely mixes some of the rate of fire from a flywheeler with the accuracy of a springer.
I have a hard time thinking about an AEG pistol simply because of how chunky it would be to package a motor, gearbox, and plunger tube all into a mag-in-grip package.

I think I'm even more excited about the new mini talons.
Got mine in the mail today and very pleased with it overall, since I only play in a gym I can pretty much run this as my primary. I did notice the motors get pretty hot, but since no one else seems to be mentioning it I'm guessing that's normal.

JT Splatmaster Z100 holster fits the nightingale perfectly if you bob the sling point from the trigger guard. Comes molle compatible plus a belt loop. 10 bucks plus tax and shipping.....

Neat blaster, as expected from Worker. They are cranking out some real bangers.
What I find interesting about the new mini talon (according to Luke's review) is that it almost seems like you can make them generally compatible with older angled talon magwells with just an adjusted catch. This might make it *so* much easier to adopt the new mag style, as while the hobby will likely make new blasters with dedicated mini talon magwells, new catches could also be made to keep the older blasters compatible.
I want one of these but at the same time it doesnt fully appeal to me. But sounds pretty powerful for a sidearm at such a cheap price being preassembled high tech stuff.

I have the gray with orange accents and it’s the high power version. I was under the assumption that the color depends on where it’s sold. US is orange and other countries are black. 🤷🏻♂️
On mine, I went orange for the LP and Teal for the HP so I can keep track.
I wonder if they do or plan on doing a magazine that sits flush and holds less ammo. Low profile magazines fit my gear getter encumbrance-wise and i can carry a bunch easily

Hi Captain, I have a lower powered version and mine came with all the black bits like your ultra version, exactly the same colour.
I apparently have a high powered variant. I picked it up at foamcon and the label said it was the high powered version. I do not, however, have a lipo for it so I cannot chrony it yet. With that said, mine is the orange&orange version with less black plastic.
I hope dart zone makes something like this, duuuude they'd make such a cool one, that hot red

I heard rumours that there were/are/will be metal mini-talons (since we seem to be calling them that), but I don't remember if they are supposedly from Worker or someone else. I think it might have heard it from TWIN, but don't quote me on that. If so, would those be the first metal magazines in the hobby?
No, I believe the Fie Rat already has optional metal mags. And people have custom made them in the past as well.
I believe the original release of the Katana mags were metal as well

I noticed a couple of feeding issues during the range test. I hope that isn't common. This is a pretty cool blaster
When? I had no feeding issues or no jams. A few heads tore off causing the foam to fly put erratically but nothing I would call a feeding issue.
What about a voltage alarm? I need just a bit more space for one.
Then get a slightly smaller battery.
I don't think there is any way to distinguish the base model from the pro externally.
