Have carried mine for 7 months and use this great tool almost daily. Just ordered a flex companion for the modularity but will still carry the ks2e every day. Any thoyght of making a combo can and bottle opener like on the ks2e for the flex system?Keep up great work.
I've had mine for a few months now and love it. Stopped carrying my Gerber Armbar and switched to the KS2 as my every day pocket knife. Use it all the time, especially the excellent scissors. The D2 steel knife came razor sharp right out of the box. The overall quality of the tool makes it a crazy good bargain for $38 bucks.
Just received it a couple of hours ago. Didn't want to read the manual, which will probably be to small for my eyes, so opened UA-cam and an instant review and a much better manual than the actual manual. Mine doesn't have the oil on the bits btw. First impressions, for the price it really seems good. I also have the Nextool D1 which has the same square look but that one is still in the box to test later on. Btw have a look at the Nextool (cheap) multitools. I have a couple and they are actually amazing for the price. I serously like the Mini sailor with the scissors. I bought one for like 13 Euro (about the same in USD) shipped and I always tend to go for that one now. Small and the scissors are really amazing.
Very detailed review. Thanks! Yeah, that scissors on the KS2E performs more like a shear than a scissors. The 2nd best scissor (that I have tried) is on the Nextool Mini Sailor Scissors version and it's about half the size of the KS2E, but it's not nearly as capable as the KS2E.
- that’s a fair point. I think 95% of the world is right handed so manufacturers tend to only make 1 version of their product. I shoot a lot of firearms and the controls are almost always on the side you’d use your right hand. A left handed person has to learn to use the right on them
@@Steve-Goff indeed. It's not only about being left or right handed though, but also if every item is made right handed then you're less efficient because what do you do with your left?
- mine locks up really solid. In fact, everything locks up great. Did you just get it? I’ve used mine pretty much daily for over a month and have recommended it to several people. I’ll have to keep an eye on other reviews to see if people are having similar issues as yours

What is the difference between KS2U and KS2E?
- I’m not familiar with a “U” model. I know the elite has g10 scales, d2 steel, and the bit kit over the standard model

- they’re a little flimsy but they work. Overall, I really like the ks2e. Very useful little multi-tool
Hello guys has anyone got a slight rattle from the tool lock release ? It has a slight movement when you touch it ? Appreciate the help 👍🏻
- mine doesn’t have any rattle at all. My sample did come from amazon so it’s not like the company handpicked which one to send me.

Is your Blade lock up solid or not... mine isn't!!!! At all.... and there is a rattle from the lock part... CRAP !!!!!

Very poor quality..... mine has LOTS od blade play and on the screwdriver tool also...
