Well done with the review and benchmarks. It is great and I am subscribing to your channel. I was a little bit confused by the display resolutions, which indeed showed 3340x1440p-check 16:42. Does this mean the resolution you mentioned as 3340p for the video is actually 1440p?
I just received it and I tested it with a 7800xt + Legion go, keep in mind that you need to use both USB ports. One for EGPU and one for charging, otherwise it won't work. I'm going to try with a 4080 super. When the power supply is disconnected it takes a while to cool down and you should wait a few minutes before turning it off.
@@rethBuddy Hi, i don t have this issue with my Mini PC, it s a shame that your legion go has only one single USB 4 port used as charging port, in this case 2 USB 4 port should be mandatory. Hi, Yes it will work but it is not recommended, the RTX 4080 is supposed to underperform if small power burst happen, the RTX 4080 Super Power draw is 320 Watt, but remember that RTX 4080 SUPER is powered by 3 X PCIE 8 pin cable and that a 400 Watt PSU has only 2 X PCIE 8 pin, it would work if your EGPU powered by the 24 pin cable is already feeding 2 out of 3 of the RTX 4080 SUPER PCIE 8 pin cable, the third and last PCIE 8 pin cable could be directly pulled from the PSU.
