Extremely helpful having these checklists. Trying to fly add-on aircraft in X-Plane, especially those from Carenado, has always been a challenge because the checklist are either non-existent or incomplete. I can see that the ones with MSFS2020 are going to be very helpful, especially with the more complex aircraft. I really like how they show you exactly where the appropriate control/button is located. It was always frustrating finding these items in X-Plane aircraft. I can only hope that MS will REQUIRE any other 3rd party aircraft to include the same kind of checklists as they are providing with their included airplanes.
You should fly to one of the 10 biggest airports in the U.S and see the hand crafted and non crafted airports 1. Los Angeles 2.Dallas/fort worth 3.O’hare airport (chicago) 4.Denver airport 5.Harts-field jackson 6.John F kennedy(new york) 7.Orlando Int Airport 8.San Fransisco 9.George W Bush Airport 10.Miami Int Airport Hope u make a video about it :)
The checklists are great at showing how to do things. What I'd also like to see is *why* we do things. Some parts are obvious, of course, but as a non-aviator, I want to know *why* do we set the mixture to a certain value and under what conditions, *why* do we set certain lights on and off at different times, etc... Just a brief description which can be toggled on or off (as I'm sure many people either already know, or aren't interested). Just think it would add quite a lot as a learning tool for new pilots.
Great job Microsoft for these check lists that highlight what needs to be done. Makes it look a lot easier. Thanks for the great videos for this newbie flight simmers
The Cessna Citation and TBM 930 are probably going to be what I fly in the most, love those two in real life so it'll be cool to play around a bit more with them ^^
As a newbie to simulators and wanting to get into it. I wish you spoke with more detail on what all the processes were for. Just makes it seem more daunting like I’m never going to know what I’m doing.
Since we are striving for realism, I would have liked to see all the aircraft's nose, lower slightly as is normally seen ( on prop equipped aircraft ) when the engine power kick's in, on startup
Could you possibly do a tutorial on both ifr and Vfr because I feel like a lot of people are not entirely familiar with what each is me included. I would love to know the ins and outs of each before the release of the sim
the minimum requirements are NVIDIA GTX 770 | AMD Radeon RX 570 and the recommended are NVIDIA GTX 970 | AMD Radeon RX 590 so if your card resigned you must have a pretty shitty one then.
I wonder why the checklist for some aircrafts (e.g. Citation CJ4) is that short (incomplete?). For Daher TBM as an example, it includes all operations, starting from "cold & dark", through Climbing and Cruise parts, ending with Short Final and Shutdown.
How can I start a flight with a manual check list. I disabled everything assistance wise but all the battery switches are already on. Props are started and so on. I wanna do it myself.. How? :D
Nice video. My plan after the in game flight tutorial is to fly the CJ4. But I have a question regarding the checklist. When you did the engine start and had to wait for a mixture to reach 20%. where were you looking? I couldn't see any indicator on where this information was displayed.
I cant stand how in x-plane 11 i have no clue what item starts which item i really love this demonstration! thank you!!! i now know what i will be buying
Ah man I just realized!! Since the whole world has ortho imagery, it means that small developers can focus on just making the buildings for scenery and not worry about paying for the ortho license which is usually in the thousands of dollars... This is soooo good
I know you can put it on second screen but it would be so cool if there was an app that let you use a tablet or phone instead so you could have it in front of you like an actual checklist. Would be especially cool that way if the camera didn't move but switch was still highlighted
Could you fly around rural aus plz. Year or 2 back you flew a commander from Broome to derby, could u do that flight again as we can do a direct comparison. Then I who lived in derby can see the level of realism to how the town is irl to the sim. Perhaps in the caravan which fly's between both towns
Please show us multi monitor setup options, the bread and butter for flight simmers. For example, 3, 5 or 6 screen wrap around screens driven by single or multiple computers. Thanks!
Could you make a more dept video about options and bindings. I found no video going deeper into that. Is it possible to map button combinations? Are there dedicated buttons for "on" and "off" for everything, like it's important for complex HOTAS or Cockpit and stuff?
Would love to see some close ups of the non handcrafted airports (especially cvg since it's my home airport) to see how they differ from the handcrafted ones
I would love to have this check list go into a connected app on phone or ipad. GPS would be fitting in that app nicely too and maybe map of the airport just like in real life.
Is there any way to change the aircraft registration ID as all the included aircraft appear to have the same aircraft ID (ASXGS, which is not very realistic!)
Thank you for asking that and thank you Aus Flight Simmer for answering this. I've been a bit worried about it myself since I can't use rudder pedals...
Should`nt at least the beacon light be in the check-list before ignition on the first and third plane? In my understanding its a signal to people around the plane, that you should keep away from the propeller/engine area and that the plane is active or about to be....

The live traffic sounds awesome, but I think the only capture of another airline was an Iberian Airlines (i think?) that was just a snippet from one of MS's preview videos. Miss flying so much, it’s been more than 4 months, this is like a gift from the gods 😅
I love the fact Microsoft integrate these checklist inside the simulator. They are also quite accurate (for simulation)
Who else can't believe the realism?

Great that you can hear the left engine start when the fuel is dumped in on the Citation with the right engine running already.
I wish the cockpit had more shaking effects on ground after startup..

Absolutely love the Checklist feature!! Can’t wait to use them on study level planes when they come!
Yes, I agree.
Dont recommend to go by this checklist u will brake your engine doesnt say the correct ng u need to be
