It will be my first time going into flight sims. I am about to order a cheap hotas system from thrustmaster hope it will be enough to enjoy this game. I cant wait
The cockpit upgrades in this game compared to FSX are massive. It's pretty cool that I can now go through a complete pre-flight checklist in all of the aircraft without having to pay extra money for a third-party addon for the experience. Of course the third-party aircraft will have even better upgrades, but I'm quite happy that you can do pre-flight checklists with default aircraft.

The Temperature around FL330 varies between-40°F to-70°F. Icing can occur even on sunny days if the humidity is just right. Kind of like when you can see a halo around the sun even on sunny days. Kinda cool.
its weird because the General aviation planes have really bouncy suspension and tires...but the jets for some reason just land like a rock...I guess for whatever reason the haven't fleshed at that aspect of them. Hopefully its good on release because the game mechanics to allow it are clearly there.
yeah, like a boat on water. not realistic imo and very obnoxious. I dont get seasick on sea, funny enough, but in games this would prevent me from flying for more than 5 minutes tbh. I hope it is a bug that gets fixed.
I havent touched a sim in years, but i used to fly the Wilco A320 and PMDG 737, it took at least a month per airplane to learn all the systems good enough to not having to read the manual every 2 minutes, haha. I think that, for a stock aircraft, this A320 is awesome. I remember those paid planes cost more than the game itself, but this one is included and really not THAT far off, at least from the Wilco.
Icing is common between the thermos layer of the two different cloud types as top cloud blocks sun, and buttom clouds block heat from the earth, so you get a really cold area that you are flying through no patch is needed. In a thunderstorm the area would be called the cap the altitude that water droplets are cold enough to condense. To avoid icing in high altitude try flying your plane in broken clouds either bottom or top. The area in-between cloud layers is called the thermos zone and heat from the lower atmosphere is transferred in that area to the upper atmosphere in what you call thermos columns. Better to go right through the cloud deck then through the clear sky in-between the cap clouds and the regular clouds.
"Remember this is just a default aircraft, so it may not be up to the detail level we're used to" It's amazing that the default aircraft in this have a similar level of cockpit functions as the PMDG aircraft of 15 years ago.
Keep them going, it's good to see anything to do with FS2020, looking forward to getting to grips with it. It is great that some developers are working on new aircraft and airports already. I like the IRIS aircraft like the PC21 and the Jabaru, that are being developed, I was still still working on the Jabaru and light aircraft until the virus hit Australia. The Jabaru is a little different from the PR9, Phantoms and Lightnings I used to work on. The IRIS PC9 and the Jabaru and CT4 were given freely to FSX from that company and they are very impressive. I will be buying their aircraft and Orbix Australian airport scenery for FS2020. It's all very exciting and I need something due to stage 4 lockdown in Melbourne ! Keep up the great videos Chewwy. Ian
Hey Chewwy94, is it possible sometime in the future that you can do a video covering the fundamentals of the auto pilot of the Airbus A320? Maybe just a quick tutorial on how the auto thrust works in correlation with the Autopilot/FMGS - how to use it properly?
They need to nail the buildings. Atleast give us like 100 cities with full details accurately. They can add extra failures like one gear not opening, water landing, landing on runway without wheels, so metal-to-tarmac contact would be a good touch. Landing on a highway with a cessna due to failures would be a good mission. Basically, use viral aviation videos to develop missions.

Especially when you look at the crap that is default FSX planes you realise how much additional functionality and detail we are getting. Very impressed with that scenery as well - truly stunning.
Audio level a bit to low
Apologies
Audio is perfect
@@archiemiddlefell4356 could be louder...
No kemah cuuu lol
Alex Boon then turn up your device...
Many thanks, just flown from East Midlands to Crete. Also managed to get the decent to work from 100 miles out. Well chuffed.
Will there be a way to turn off the names of the buttoms when you hover over them? I personally find that very distracting.
Black'nRed yes sir
I'm sure they'll implement that if it isn't there already
Yeah I agree @Black’nRed
I think that there will almost definitely be something like that. They have those for beginner simmers
Yes the HUD is already completely customizable
Can we all just talk about that icing issue for a minute? How terrifying. It just goes to show you, if he couldn't look outside the plane he might have never known until it was too late. Creepy.
Whoaaa that Icing effect!!! Damn that Looks so good
Loved the landing, spilled my GT all over the place
How did that landing sound make it into the "final" game XD
Those sounds are so insanely realistic! Love that we hear the PTU barking dog haha
that one dislike was from a x plane fan
Xplane developer😂
the third party xplane aircraft are currently better than the ones in the microsoft flight sim
@@lisztdylan7846 i agree, but the cost of the ff a320 is wayyyyy more expensive than this sim itself
@@lisztdylan7846 Obviously, those are payware add-ons. This is default
@@lisztdylan7846 Obviously this is default. Wait until there is payware addons for this like PMDG 737 and then make a comparison.
Asobo is trying to rock us to sleep...left...right....left....right
It will be my first time going into flight sims. I am about to order a cheap hotas system from thrustmaster hope it will be enough to enjoy this game. I cant wait
I think some of your passengers dental fillings fell out after that landing! LOL! Enjoyed emmensley!
Can´t wait for release :D
Awesome video chewwy, you've now got me very excited for this sim!
28:26 lords cricket stadium, A380 will come to the game.
As a Prop, you can't fly it yourself.
wow good to see a full flight video after 3 years
With landing like that, Ryanair would hire you on the spot!
Lol yeah
The cockpit upgrades in this game compared to FSX are massive. It's pretty cool that I can now go through a complete pre-flight checklist in all of the aircraft without having to pay extra money for a third-party addon for the experience. Of course the third-party aircraft will have even better upgrades, but I'm quite happy that you can do pre-flight checklists with default aircraft.
this is how big i imagine the GTA 6 map
Absolutely love they’ve got the dog bark in there! Insane detail for a bog standard aircraft
MAN! so sorry to say this.
but after watching just this little flight.
I uninstalled X-plane 11 and deleted all ortho that had like 7 TERA of my PC space.
Seriously !! default scenery is better than real life... no FPS issues with that magnificent graphics and details.
AAAAAAAAAAH -> anybody can tell me a medicine that makes you sleep until 18th august !!=.=
if you can't wait for something the best thing to do is to try to do other things and forget about it until the time is right
yazoy you’re so dumb 😂
FPS sucks for me and most of the systems are still buggy. At this time i still prefer Xplane.
The Temperature around FL330 varies between-40°F to-70°F. Icing can occur even on sunny days if the humidity is just right. Kind of like when you can see a halo around the sun even on sunny days. Kinda cool.
Why is the plane constantly wobbling side to side throughout the whole flight?
The wobble definitely seems very artificial, very linear, almost like the plane was on rails.
I watched another video of the same aircraft and it was doing the same thing. Very weird.
Great video yet again Matt! Just got to pray for the FSLabs now. Extremely good for default though!
The landing gear suspension looks so stiff. The landing effect is not good, and need to be looked at.
But it looks amazing!
its weird because the General aviation planes have really bouncy suspension and tires...but the jets for some reason just land like a rock...I guess for whatever reason the haven't fleshed at that aspect of them. Hopefully its good on release because the game mechanics to allow it are clearly there.
His plane was VERY light
Loved the video, the summary, the exact kind I was looking for. Thx for taking the time to put this together1!!
The constant sway in the air throughout the flight kinda makes me dizzy
yeah, like a boat on water. not realistic imo and very obnoxious. I dont get seasick on sea, funny enough, but in games this would prevent me from flying for more than 5 minutes tbh. I hope it is a bug that gets fixed.
THE SOUNDS THE GRAPHICS OMG
Would be amazing if they add livery’s to the Live traffic
this probably won't happen out of the box due to licencing issues.
They will do it I am an Alpha now Beta Tester an there are Liveries for United Airlines and Iberia I think they will do it
@@minecraftxd9634 Maybe only for the flyable aircrafts? Or have you spotted other airplanes than the A320neo in United livery?
I've seen United and Jet Blue so far in my flights. So could be a work in progress.
@@MoonScythe1 That sounds good. Thank you!
You should definitely do a flight to Denver, its amazing there.
Like denver colorado just got microsoft sim after 12k hours in x plane looking for some nice scenery any recommendations
It’s very in-chewwy-tive
I havent touched a sim in years, but i used to fly the Wilco A320 and PMDG 737, it took at least a month per airplane to learn all the systems good enough to not having to read the manual every 2 minutes, haha. I think that, for a stock aircraft, this A320 is awesome. I remember those paid planes cost more than the game itself, but this one is included and really not THAT far off, at least from the Wilco.
You seems to have a pretty good framerate on this video. What is the hardware you're using ?
According to his website, it's an i9 9900k, RTX 2080Ti, and 32GB DDR4 at 4000MHz
I would say at least a 2070. My rx580 cant cope at all.
jarcher get an RX 5700XT if you want to upgrade and stay red. If you want to go green, wait for the nvidia 3000 series and get a 3070 or better.
@@derickvo317 Cheers. Yes, that's the plan. It's gonna be expensive though...
The 3070 is rumored to be 400 when released
I don't realy like that things like the flight plan get filled in automatically I would rather do them my self
"Remember this is just a default aircraft, so it may not be up to the detail level we're used to"
It's amazing that the default aircraft in this have a similar level of cockpit functions as the PMDG aircraft of 15 years ago.
it’s too hard
Very nice flight! London Heathrow looked amazing. Just like when I went there, back in 11. Thanks for sharing this.
The icing is wayyy overexaggerated
Superb job! I love the sounds of the engines during startup. I always have! That to me makes it so realistic for me! Keep them coming! Bravo!
My PC: Send help pls
I have the Beta and its working on my PC I have a gtx 1060 6gb,ryzen 5 1600x 4.0 GHz,16gb Ram on Medium Settings

Ian
I think the real strength is flying smaller aircraft down around the ground to appreciate the great terrain.
33:05 Thank you for flying, *Ryanair.*
