A little heart-to-heart between the dead, its kinda sad that Akechi just can't understand how he's supposed to live on due to his past crimes.. To continue with no regrets like Shinjiro
He's a young adult with psychopathic traits. Of course he's no regrets. Shinji made a massive mistake, but what he meant is that he's not going to let it dictate who he is, and won't try to avoid the consequences. Akechi can't relate, as deep down he doesn't care who he's hurt - his only "regret" is not meeting Joker earlier, but that's after he thought he killed the guy (not a normal circumstance), plus was still helped even after trying to kill them all after coming clean; he recognised that meeting Joker earlier may have stopped him from commiting his crimes in the first place.
Is Akechi dead, though? If palaces operate under the same or similar rules to Persona 4's TV world, then Akechi's death would mean his corpse would be forcefully deposited back in the Diet Building, which would've caused quite the stir. And since no such commotion occurred, to avoid death, he could've easily just returned to the human world under his own power just before "dying". To cause mental shutdowns, he would need to be able to enter palaces on his own, so him leaving on his own is not out of the question. There's no guarantee Futaba could actually sense him leaving aside from death, either. And, well, no one actually saw him die. What's more, if Akachi were to appear in the Diet Building, it would not be strange to anyone, since he's in contact with Shido, a politician. Worst case, he's found injured, and would be taken to a hospital. To put it simply, Akechi may have copied Joker and faked his death.
Shinjiro sees through akechi because he's a lot sharper than he looks. It's not just because he's similar it's also that he's interacted with some rather shady people so seeing what akechi and what he intends to do isn't all that unexpected or surprising for that matter.
Shady is one word for them concidering the top of that list is Strega he probably has spent enough time around takaya to see his and akechi's similarities

It's kind of funny how the Persona 3 and Persona 4 casts spend the whole game being like "Man, Akechi, you're so cool and dependable." And meanwhile, the Persona 5 cast is just over here like "Haha, this motherfucker." and plotting his downfall.
It sucks that a lot of Persona content is never getting a dub. Persona 5 The Animation, Persona 3 Movies, Persona Q 2. But somehow the dancing games got dubs.
I mean, the dancing games were easier to dub, Persona Q didn't do that successful so this was likely a cost saving measure for Q 2, and I think the anime was a bit flawed in animation so maybe a local release not coming isn't too sad.
I remember hearing something about how pq kind of affected p3 and p4 cast in some way and I like to think that akechi changed at the last moment because of all this not because he remembers but because something about himself changed ultimately :(

Perhaps Akechi finally get what Shinji was saying even if they'd forgotten each other after PQ2.
1:15 You're not allowed to just say yare yare without terrifying an entire generation
Shinjiro can tell the dark path Akechi's going on & where it'll lead him.
It's kind of funny how the Persona 3 and Persona 4 casts spend the whole game being like "Man, Akechi, you're so cool and dependable."
And meanwhile, the Persona 5 cast is just over here like "Haha, this motherfucker." and plotting his downfall.
I was a bit confused akechi calling shinji with "-kun" then I remember they are in the same age here
It sucks that a lot of Persona content is never getting a dub. Persona 5 The Animation, Persona 3 Movies, Persona Q 2. But somehow the dancing games got dubs.
They knew what truly deserved the fundings for a dub.
I mean, the dancing games were easier to dub, Persona Q didn't do that successful so this was likely a cost saving measure for Q 2, and I think the anime was a bit flawed in animation so maybe a local release not coming isn't too sad.
4:57 HOHOHO
Too bad Akechi forgets all about this too
I remember hearing something about how pq kind of affected p3 and p4 cast in some way and I like to think that akechi changed at the last moment because of all this not because he remembers but because something about himself changed ultimately :(
Akira Kurusu I mean Chie remembers Akihiko as her master in P4AU and BBCT so yeah
Because of P4A, not PQ.
Rutawind PQ as well. He taught her to box in PQ
Wait: I thought they forgot everything after PQ, did they not?
Shinjiro you deserve so much better.
He really did
Basically: Don't fuck it up, pancake boy
"Alongside time exists fate, the bearer of cruelty." Godspeed, The Royal, Godspeed.
Two thieves of life. One with a guilty conscience and one without.
One with a chance for redemption another devoid of one....for now.
If Akechi could remember that conversation.. Would he have changed?
Sometimes, you realize things too late to turn back.
I have never seen such a b.s answer for Akechi, “I like to stay away from crowds”, like dude, we see you in a lot of them.
He doesn't like crowds though. In his confidant he gets annoyed when fans spot him and lives a relatively introverted life in his free time like going to the Jazz Jin alone to think or enjoying hobbies like reading.
Anything happens in stardust crusaders:
Jotaro: 1:15
I just realized something:
Shinjiro: "I've tried to undo some of it, but since i can't I try to live with no regrets."
No More What Ifs' lyrics (a song heavily based around Akechi's perspective): "I do not regret with my choices; im rather proud."
wouldn't, all of the phantom thieves know of Akechi's plans to kill Joker, the phantom thieves' are very suspicious of Akechi even before the casino palace, when PQ2 is supposed to take place.
I wonder which one is worse,
having a Horrible past and becoming Bent on nothing but revenge,
or having a Horrible past and becoming Apathetic and afraid to continue.
P5 Royal might give him a chance...
Raven the Dragon 🤞
Nope, he was a mass murderer before Joker ran into Shido.
_"Pancakes.... I don't want to hear that word again for a long, _*_long_*_ time."_
One dead person to another: Give...up!
One of the first Genuine things Akechi says around the PT 1:42
"go on without me" says akechi
Ouch.
The universe is better without Akechi. He deserved punishment for his crimes.
@@mystery8820 someone's a ball of sunshine
That aside, based on your comment, I doubt you played persona 5
Shinji: You are SO betraying them
Akechi: You are SO dead
Shinji: Fuck you
Akechi: Fuck You slightly more
Goro-Celebrity and prince detective extraodinaire-Akechi: I am no good with crowds.
Spoilers for the end of PQ2 p5 and p3
At the end of the game, Akechi really and I mean REALLY doesn’t want to leave. He knows he’s going to betray everyone, that’s what shinjiro was getting at. It doesn’t help that much more when you know both characters die after having this moment
elizabeth just watching in the background lmao
i just noticed how stupid crows mask is
just elizabeth listening in the background.
Masamune reunites with Yukimura.
Shinji has milllion IQ so smart to notice Akechi behaviour and confronted out of everyone tho to be fair it's easy to see his psychopathic tendency more than Adachi despite their name similarity.
Or he just wanted to see how he was doing.
I kinda hope this game gets a remaster on switch
1:15)
*_YARE YARE L O C A T E D_*
The limited time party members duo
You see that Shinji?
even weirder after royal true end
Shinjiro: Look Goro, I don't know your business but I do sense or feel some very bad intent radiating out of you in the invisible. Kind of hard to explain. I to just can't forget all the dislike rage society dealt me plus the rigid everything in the world. All I'm saying create your own little world stay in it, be extra picky of those who enter your little world, if the wrong people in your little simple world merely boot kick them out.
Crow and Shinji both killed someone's mum
When will Akechi and Shinji just go out for beers?
Me: *sees blue-haired Makoto* HE’S ALIVE!
kazuya nakai does a rly good job aah
Akechi got a lot of trouble just for single stab
Means nothing really
I wish adachi joined they’re group so he could be in pq2
IT WAS A MISTAKE READING THE COMMENTS BEFORE FINISHING P3 BYE IM OUT
Like Shinji, you saw that.
The relationship between Shinji and Akechi is very Similar to L and Light
1:15 yare yare
They do have alot in common...
They both Die!
I thought crow on the line
1:16 _Yare Yare daze_
Ok so when are we getting the scene where shinjiro makes akechi pancakes
Wait A Minute!??!
Zoro!!!!???
I know that voice anywhere!!
1:15 he said the line
I mean, at this point all the phantom thieves should've known akechi true nature?
Maybe Akechi might have a "change of heart" in the royal
Did not expect Jotaro.
1:15 he said the jojo word
Adachi missing
He fucking said the JoJo thing
OH BUT I THINK YOU DO
Akechi: I really am sorry... but I don't understand.
**Third Semester occurs**
Akechi: ...Now I remember. ****** it, now I get it. How is it that everyone seems to have figured that out about me?
Oof that ost. Anyone know the name?
When does it play?
