@@xuragentofthebedroom965 No, it is the wild card. Akechi could complete the whole Compendium if he wanted to but given his personnality, he only needs a Persona to reflect his dark side, Loki and a "fake" Persona that is Robin Hood.
As he has no need for more Personas, he didn't even try catching more as mentionned by Morgana during the fight against him.
Loki however has a special power to make Shadows and people psychotic but that's unique.
Morgana protects the twins and he doesn't even know why. So cute.

I love how many flags are raised from persona Q and 5, like Elizabeth and Theodore know what happened in PQ (the comment about the shop being a exemple, Theodore saying that "veteran shopkeeper" fits him and saying that he's used to situations where he is trapped) and about Caroline and Justine. That gives a "all knowing" vibe to them, since they technically are almost omnipotent

What's really interesting is that they obviously know who Caroline and Justine are, but still refuse to get involved because they're still tied to Ren's ongoing journey.
It's quite weird seeing them put the Fool's Journey above making sure their own sibling is safe and able to carry out her duties. To think the extent of their 'we can't get involved' supercedes family and their own master is very interesting to me.
Either that or the writers didn't think any of that through and forgot that Elizabeth has been sticking her nose in the adventures of the Arena games for years now.
Remiferia I'm going with the latter... The whole crossover seems convoluted as hell...
Ultimately they're all dolls of Philemon, so maybe that has something to do with why they won't interfere.

They're not REAL siblings bc they're dolls, but Margaret describes herself as 'younger' when she and Elizabeth sang the Igor song, so by all accounts they have grown up with each other and possibly even aged naturally. That is more sibling like than just people who call each other brother and sister like a cult.
So it's probably Lavenza grew with them and they'd consider her a younger sibling just like they call Theodore a younger sibling.
Well from what I got from seeing elizabeth and theos interaction with meeting them, they both already knew something was up but Elizabeth specifically said to theo not to interfere with it because that is left to date or whatever. From what I got from it is that she knew something was up but she also knew that she really shouldn't mess with it cuz it would impede on jokers journey.

From what I was able to gauge from the reviews and criticism people had of the Japanese version (which is obviously none too different from the English release), negatives of the game boiled down to three parts:
1.) A limited story too focused on the P5 Cast, if at all. Some have likened the scriptwriters for the game to people who have never even played a Persona game before, and even the most positive of reviews I’ve come across can’t help but lament the lack of satisfactory character development we’ve come to expect out of these games. Those who expected levels as enjoyable as the Group Date Cafe, the Pride Exhibit, and the like will be apparently very disappointed at what the new labyrinths will have to offer.
2.) Directly linked to the problem above, the lack of interaction between the casts of the 3 games leaves one feeling this is a fan service game with a sore lack of fan service. Sure there are 28+ members, but perhaps because some of their characters overlap or maybe because Atlus was too afraid of straining their budget on the monumental task of fleshing out a main cast bigger than a Shakespearean play, some fan favorites are quite invisible from start to finish (No spoiling who, but apparently it’s really conspicuous who the invisibles are).
3. The game is too stupidly difficult, while the labryinths are too convoluted. I can’t relate to this issue because I’m almost always focused on the story and gameplay flaws personally hurt less, but some feel even the Easy difficulty is unnecessarily too hard and there is apparently little sense of accomplishment or achievement for defeating some of the bosses in the game.
There’s no way to assess if these criticisms are warranted with the current lack of content, and hopefully everyone will give this game a chance up until at least when all of the characters are rescued/found.
Personally, I’m enjoying what we have access to so far. The Twin Wardens are just too damned adorable, the story is easy to follow, and most important of all this is the last Persona related media we’ll have to last us until P5 Royal.
Finally thank you so much Buff for posting these videos online. As somebody who again enjoys storytelling far above gameplay, these things are extremely entertaining and highly rewatchable.
Oh and you forgot one thing. I'm not sure if that is a stylistic choice or not but all of the first 3 movies are basically the same thing. If you are different from others you get executed. That's it on all of the first 3 ones and the game only comes to life at the 4th labyrinth.
It's still better than Q1 where the game tries to make you think that the dungeons are just randumbo then suddenly says that they are related, because the Q2 labyrinths just pile up clues in front of you.
Just treat it as a Phantom Thieves heist arc like you did with the individual P5 Palaces and you should be fine.
I personally just hate how the P3 heroine is handled :(

@@Sune Trust me they ARE warranted. The original characters and the FEMC literally just steals the spotlight from anyone else and it defintely hardly qualifies as a "fanservice game." Hikari, Nagi and Doe are probably more well written than the Persona users sans FEMC.
For me it's just an incredibly weird phantom thieves heist arc, like a bonus Palace stacked on top of the original 8.
Oh and I forgot about this, sorry. If the game wouldn't have any of the well written OCs as I saw in Japanese playthroughs INCLUDING the endgame (And I CAN understand Japanese), I would not touch this game by a mile of the jar.

@@carso1500 not sure but P3 -> P4 -> P4 Arena -> P4D -> Ultimax -> PQ1 (interestingly P4 cast does not retain their memories, same goes for the rest of p3 cast except for Elizabeth and Makoto since the game starts after everything ended and in a way we are playing their memories, I also have a feeling Margaret remembers but decided not to tell since it would be a way of interfering and like she more strict the Eli) or PQ2 (i have a feeling they probably happened like in the middle games of each their respective game/timeline)-> P3D and 5 happens the same time but also P3D probably happens before the arena and in a way is probably eli's excuse to see makoto again, P5D probably when the game ends since its already lavenza guiding us not the twins. (well we all know the velvet is between mind and matter and probably in the middle ground of time for each series)

They didn't forget tho. Did you watch the thing? If Caroline and Justine (aka Lavenza) didn't recognize them, then there is something wrong, and it was best to not meddle if it was from a situation not created by the labyrinth (aka if it was a part of The Fool's Journey).

Yaldaboath never lets Akechi into his velvet room. He let's the main char in to even the odds.
Since Yaldabaoth is in charge Akira is called a prisoner not a guest, and Akechi is never given an explanation of his power, so some how the Velvet siblings know not to bring it up.

I don’t think Akechi has the wild card too. (Probably wrong). His persona is Loki who (for some reason) has the power to alter appearances, so I think Akechi just used him to alter himself to “Robin Hood” to seem less evil.
@@JRayPG Lavenza explicitly says he does. But he only uses 2 Personas since he cannot use the Velvet Room and so he cannot use wild card properly.

Same. And ridiculous that people defend it being on the 3ds saying it wont work since the switch isnt dual-screen. Im sure they can just change up the mechanics to work like every other first person dungeon crawler out there that uses only a single screen. The mechanics on the 3ds were made for the 3ds because it was the 3ds and if it were on the switch, then obviously theyd just have to make it work on the switch lol. The 3ds is dead, face it smh.
And also that its exclusive to a nintendo system....when the main series have always been on playstation only. Such potential sales are loss because of that, worse that its on the 3ds.

He can use many personas, but it’s implied that any persona user can simply use their initial persona in earlier games, so perhaps Robin Hood is merely his Initial. His personas are both of the same Arcana and he only uses two. That’s not enough to call him the wild card
He is, but between being a sociopath who doesn't have bonds with anyone, and Yaldy's mucking around, he only has two Personas he can switch between.

personally i wish P6 is about Elizabeth, now she is considered as a wild card and her card is the fool card (arena or ultimax), it would be interesting to see the siblings guide her and her quest to save makoto but...tbh isn't her quest sad since makoto can never be alive again (no body and the time changed), Eli is probably the most human then Margaret then Lavanze after Theo...im concern why theo is so chill despite Makoto and FemC literally kinda having the same fate..
