I ve seen about 7-8 of these infinity war spoiler videos so far and you guys have been the best by far at analyzing the movie. Nerds with extensive comicbook knowledge truly are the best.
that was the first time that when a movie ends, a complete silence take the whole room... people leave walking like zombies, with emptiness in his eyes, like they dont have soul anymore...
Did any of you guys notice how Loki has referred to himself since the first Thor film as "Loki of Jotunheim" and "Not of Asgard" yet before he sacrifices himself he says "I am Loki, Prince Of Asgard" and "Odinson"
@@joeymerk3706 and now we know he didnt sacrifice himself it was a projection, mcu is getting better and better cant wait for phase 4 to properly kick off
This ending definitely sets up something good for the next movie...because the original Avengers, with Rocket was left. I wouldn't be surprised if Rocket is used to help create or build something massive in Wakanda. Because, let's just be honest Shuri may have the brains, but don't underestimate Rockets skills in building and using technology. Just think what he can build with all that Vibranium.
one of my Favorited parts of the whole movie was when Thanos first arrives on Titan and is talking to Dr.Strange about what happened to his planet and his motivation. That scene actually made me route for Thanos.
One thing that I found underrated about this movie is the continuity of the disconnect between Cap and Iron Man. The fact that Iron Man never called him and they were fighting Thanos in two completely different places just builds up to them being reunited in Avengers 4. Really can't wait for the next one and great review guys!
I think the whole situation about the Hulk is way simpler than people want it to be. The driving emotion to his strength is anger. His encounter with Thanos made him feel, for the first time, fear. As soon as he felt Thanos strength we see the Hulk, eyes wide and fear on his face, before the first hit even lands. I think this fear is what is crippling the ability to the Hulk being unleashed. Also the Hulk has more agency than he did in the first two Avengers. It's not surprising to see him act in a independent manner this time, being able to refuse his involvement further. Banner has now to try and figure how manage the Hulk in a new way, like he said at the end. Complicated ideas make for empty expectations. The best explanations are usually the simpler ones.
I have one thought of this movie "horrifically terrifying master piece"..best moment- when finally Loki calls himself Odinson and also Thor's landing on wakanda... obviously.
Hulk is not playing chess. He refused to come out because he's never truly been beaten like that, and after 2 years of being Champion, he doesn't know how to deal with it.
For real. Hulk is scared of Thanos because Hulk is supposed to be the strongest there is... and one purple boi with a golden mitten put him into the floor
Man, this review should go down as one of the best reviews of all time. The video contains everything that should be covered and given time. I have the same thoughts man. God! You guys really made me feel like a child who just listens carefully and I'm all into this shit. Subscribed!!
Loved seeing that little glimpse of Strange and Wong just being "normal" people talking about who is paying for lunch. I always love seeing those human "this is what we do when were not doing hero stuff" moments. Gave me the vibe of the scene in Ultron where everyone is trying to lift Thor's hammer.

I see some otherwise savvy people are confused as to how Heimdall knew to whisk Banner away to the Sanctum. It was established in Ragnarok that Thor is capable of mind-melding with Heimdall, therefore one can infer he did as much one last time...
I hurt so bad for Tony. You can tell that Tony is just done, hes lost so so so much. If I were Tony I'd be like "why didnt I go with them...?" And the thing is, he wants a family. I just want him happy for once

This movie snatched the edges of the world completely off, I had no idea this movie was going to go this way. Feige & the crew ripped the pages out of the comics and put in the movies. Right now i’m sad parent who lost their child. Great review guys and hugs for all of you.😔 ~Mo
41:40 That’s not what happened. Peter told him to make a distraction. Ned didn’t even hear peter because he wasn’t paying attention. Then when he looks up he notices the ship all on his own and freaks out naturally. It works for Pete’s distraction ends, but it’s a comedy beat since Ned just reacted naturally and it worked out anyway.
Yeah, the scenes with Strange vs Thanos were fantastic. I'm really glad they had Strange fight more with magic in this movie, as one of my only real complaints about his solo movie was the fact that he spent way too much time fighting with melee weapons and not nearly enough time casting magic. I don't wanna see the Sorcerer Supreme fighting with a laser whip or a glowy magical disk on his arm (even though yes, those are technically magical weapons), I want to see him casting illusions, launching magic blasts from a distance, doing fun counterspells. Pretty much exactly how he fought Thanos here and more. Hopefully that carries over to Strange's future appearances and they get away from the melee combat more.
As far as the Hulk is concerned, we forget the "vision" he had in Age Of Ultron when he goes crazy in NYC then leaves. We see everyone elses vision except his. Now that he returns to Earth, he's afraid to let lose again. We have yet to know what his vision was, but it has to do with "the end" of everyone. Plus, he doesn't want to hurt humans in the collateral damage of everything. So no, itsynot because he got his ass beat. It goes deeper than all of that.
The fact that we discover that Tony Stark knows Thanos because of the his vision in AOU, and then to hear Thanos say he’s also been haunted by Iron Man, like holy shit he said we’re both haunted by information
Hi guys!!! Love you videos I wanted to point out that where Thor gets the stormbreaker, there wasn’t another gauntlet, that was the mold from the one Thanos has. And that one is fried now. Big hug.
I think one of the best parts of the movie are the parts without music. An example is the fight on Titan. The music worked epically with the fight, but when they finally got Thanos under control, the music stops. That’s when it really feels tense, and you feel the desperate rush the heroes felt to get that gauntlet off. Same with the heroes disappearing into dust. Instead of hearing sad music over the deaths, you here silence. This makes it seem much more emotional, as you know that this is what the heroes would be hearing. Amazing movie.
Can't agree with Hector more about living in the moment with these movies rather than living them through a "it's all gonna be fine in the sequel" attitude.
My theatre was so quiet when the screen turned black. Everyone was just speechless. I was in a daze and my mind kept going back to the movie but everything was a mess. I wanted to remember but I was just so shocked at the brutality that they were willing to go. Marvel had the balls to go there. Wow. I feel proud they changed their formula and took a huge risk.
Strange said he wouldn't save tony or peter if it came down to the end. Strange gave up the stone to save tony which leads me to believe strange didn't give up the stone to save him except once in all the outcomes he saw, and tony turned out to be the key. (Still watching don't know if y'all pointed that out.)
AWESOME review guys! Some people give me crap because I didn't grow up actually reading the comic books but instead I became a fan when the first Iron Man came out. From then on I've been hooked and really value your opinions because you guys have read the books and I actually learn stuff from you. These are my people. I’ve been watching all the reviews of infinity war and no one but these guys had the same emotions I had watching the movie. Real fans
Thanos has some of the best moments and dialogue in any comic book movie. Baby Gamora- “Did you do it?” Thanos- “Yes.” Baby Gamora- “But what did it cost?” Thanos- “...everything.” FUCK ME that moment was so powerful. You could see the pain he felt from all that he sacrificed to complete his mission.
I watched the film with my girlfriend (she is into the superhero stuff, lucky for me) and the moment the film ends she was so upset that she said, "did we come to theatre to see the villain wins and the heroes die, it's a superhero movie for god's sake". It was hilarious :)
what makes Thanos a TRUE VILLAIN is when he told Stark I hope they remember you that's the thing if everyone didn't remember the ones lost it wouldn't be so tragic.
*Beginning of Spider-Man: Homecoming* TONY: [opens car door] That's not a hug, kid. We're not there yet. *End of Avengers: Infinity War* TONY: [accepts Peter's hug before he fades out of existence] 😭😭😭
I think after the finger snap, Thanos entered the soul stone where he saw Gamora as a child, which could actually be a representation of her soul. I think she will play a part in the 4th installment, to return all those eliminated by the finger snap. And who knows, maybe her return from the soul stone gives birth to Adam Warlock for GoTG3.
I really loved this movie. It is definitely in my top 3 MCU movies. Gamora's arc was wonderful in this movie. Scarlett Witch was a beast in this one. Okoye's face when T'challa was taken and Spiderman's plea to Tony were the two most emotional losses for me. I did love the Nick Fury post credit scene though. Last note, Thor came to Wakanda like a bull in a crowded stadium. Excellent movie. Great review.
I think that we finally got the actual comic book Thor power level, and the beautiful thing is that it makes sense, like in the first movie they wanted to make it grounded but now it has been unleashed to it's true potential with the storm breaker. And my favorite Drax moment is: Starlord: - Where is Gamora!? Tony: - Who is Gamora!? Drax: - I'll do you one better!, Why is Gamora!? I almost died with that 😂😂😂
The movie was shot in IMAX. I watched it in IMAX and it was so perfect you couldn’t notice any CGI moments so guys I absolutely recommend watching it that way.
I really don’t get how people think killmonger is even a shadow of the villain that Thanos is, in background, motivation, and ability. Like I liked him a lot and enjoyed the heck out of Black Panther but personally that movie is so far beneath this masterpiece
that's why I like you hector, you're the only one that understand why quill immediately punch thanos like that. every other reviewer I watched says "it doesn't make sense" when it was totally make sense knowing how quill react in past movie.
It's like other reviewers forgot things that happened in GotG vol. 2 movie where Quill beat the shit out of his father after he heard the truth about the death of his mother.
@@limelimelimee all of them. Thanos against all brought back people and 'Avengers Assemble' was basically every fanfic dream which somehow gladly made it into reality for once blowing everyone away. Whats more impressive is valid prediction of Adam about Children of Thanos being brought back. We now know it was time travel, but still, that wasnt expected, but most welcome suprise and was predicted here as well. Cap standing alone against Thanos army was amazing prediction though and Im glad we got to see it.
Just rewatched this again after rewatching your review for Endgame.. you guys have such cool and entertaining perspectives. Towards the end, it finally clicked in my mind (don’t know why it didn’t before) the final stone Thanos collected was the one he originally started out with. Don’t know if that was an intentional plan on Marvel’s part but pretty cool regardless.
@@KayAngel69 the first stone that the original commentor (J Gant) meant was the first stone that Thanos possessed which is the mind stone in Avengers 1. He hid the mind stone in the sceptre in order to hide its original form so that Loki wouldn't abuse its power but unfortunately the invasion failed and Thanos never got the mind stone back again in his possession resulting in Hydra discovering that main power source of the sceptre is the stone inside it which they dont know what it is yet up until Thor told them in Age of Ultron that the stone in Vision's forehead is an infinity stone
Almost everyone mentions spidy's death as the most heart breaking one, but for me it has to be the death of Gamora. For one to realise that her father loved her all along only to know this follows her death, and the pain Thanos goes through to accomplish what he believes, the sacrifice 😞 . Thanos was not the only one who had tears in his eye !!!
Couldn't agree more. Movies rarely give me the feels, but that scene had me literally crying. Spidey's death hit really hard too, but it was right on the heels of Starlord's death, and I was still so irritated at Quill for the idiot Gilligan moment he pulled when they captured Thanos, that it took some of the emotion of Spidey's death away. I'm sure that, when I watch it again, both scenes will hit me though. But yeah, I totally agree re: Gamora. That whole scene was just made of heartbreak.
AMAZING review as always guys! In honor of my pump from this film, and Adam, Hector, and Augustin, I’m going to crack open the marvel unlimited, a superhero playlist, and read comics all night!!!! Love you guys!
The romance between Vision and Wanda is what the romance between Scott and Jean SHOULD'VE been in the X-Men movies. It was heartbreaking, honest, and loyal to the comics. I loved it. I also think the Hugo Weaving's Red Skull is the most underrated villain/performance in the MCU. I loved we got to see him again! (Yes, I understand it wasn't Weaving in Infinity War...it's the acknowledgement to Capt. America: First Avenger I'm referencing).
Great review, guys! Such an entertaining film! For me, the best decision Marvel made was combining elements of the 1993 Infinity War/Infinity Crusade arc and Hickman's 2013 Infinity arc. I never imagined the Black Order would ever appear in the MCU, so their inclusion in this movie fulfilled dreams I didn't even know I had :) I also thought renaming Black Dwarf as Cull Obsidian was a good move. That name is much cooler.
With the old guard still alive and the new guard died, it makes Avengers 4 so important. If Iron Man or Captain America had died, we would have be expecting that and won't have much invested in A4 because they had their time. But once again we need them to step up and rescue the future of the MCU which is why if they die then will be harder but make more sense in the future and more heroic.
The Hulk is basically a terrified child, that's why he's refusing to come out. Also, the Guardians came to Titan in their ship. Tony and Nebula can just use that.
Idk why I am here this late, but I think the reason why Hulk didn't want to come out is the fact that they were on EARTH. He was all upset in Ragnarok when Thor told him that Earth hated Hulk and he didn't want to come back. I think more than the fight with Thanos, it is the Ultron eps that traumatized him.
I loved the movie! Watched it yesterday and watching it again tomorrow. Agree with everything you're saying. I think I may have been a bit dissapointed if they didn't do the Thanos "snap", but I didn't expect them to end the movie where they did. Most emotional moment for me was without a doubt when Spider-Man died in Tony's arms. Omg my heart can't handle that. Also loved the audience I watched the movie with. People laughed so much, a couple times so much we couldn't hear the next lines (the only good part about having subtitles). And when the movie ended I could hear wtfs all around the theater. About half the people left after the first part of the credits, which was a bit strange. And I think I was the only person going "YES!" out loud when the Hala star showed up in the end credit scene, but people loved the Fury cameo :) Final fun fact. It doesn't seem like cursing is as bad of a thing when it comes to movie ratings in Norway, because the subtitles had much stronger curse words than the ones spoken. Imagine replacing every "damn", "shit", etc. in the movie with the f-word and you get the idea :)
Anna Berg That’s amazing! And yes, it’s insane that they went all in on Thanos wiping out half the universe with just a snap of his finger. That Spider-Man scene is such a tear jerker. That’s also quite surprising to hear how some words were drastically changed like that. But, happy to hear you enjoyed it so much.
And I think it’s really powerful that Rocket and Nebula are the ones left from the Guardians. I believe Rocket especially is going to be hit in the face with the reality of not having his “family” around. His character continues to struggle with the idea of self sacrifice and I think the next Avengers he’ll have to do something risky to bring his family back.
Do you guys think Peter Parker has more time to react to his 'death' cos of his spidey sense screaming to him! Everyone else hardly has time to react except a moment of shock. I havn't heard anyone think this out loud yet.
It’s actually amazing how good marvel markets. Think about how much of the trailers are not really in the film or the dialogue is presented in different ways. Scenes like Cap getting the gauntlet or stitching words together like ready by Thor and Let’s Go by Cap just to make trailers epic. Even Thanos lines in the trailer are things he says right away or they cut snipets of lines like perfectly balanced which is actually in the flashback scene with Gamora and the knife. The iron spider scene swinging on titan is different in the trailers too.
The creation of Beta Ray Bills stormbreaker armor was quite amazing. Then the Norrin Radd with Bruce Banner warning Tony Stark, Stephen Strange, Wong about the coming of Thanos was nice. The interrogation sequence with Ebony Maw and Doctor Strange was straight out of the comic panel. Also the battle sequence that took place on Titan with Spiderman webslinging and shooting his Web on Thanos face was from the Infinity Gauntlet panel. The scene with Red Skull as the representation of Death and telling Thanos what he has to do was the best climax ever. That gave closure to Captain America The First Avenger. Mention of previous events from Civil War, Guardians of the Galaxy, Ragnarok, Thor were all great. Ross Marquand did a phenomenal job of imitating Hugo Weaving. The iconic moment with Thanos removing the mind stone and seeing him go offline have me goosebumps. Also the bicentennial man story for Vision was great. The couple storyline for Vision and Scarlet Witch was straight out of the comics. The Snaping of his finger and then rewriting reality with him back at Gamoras homeworld living a peaceful quite self imposed exile as farmer was a nice cliffhanger ending.
"You're strong, me. You are generous, me. But I never taught you to lie. That's why you're so bad at it." Best line of the movie.
Ian Houston yep. And there were so many great lines. Thanos was practically shakespearean.

Hector straight up giving me chills with that “Avengers Assemble” concept.
I couldn't sleep after IW. My jaw dropped at the ending. It was so quiet in the theater you could hear a pin drop; It was total silence.!!!!!
These three have been predicting Endgame since then. I'm a big fan.
I watched the film with my girlfriend (she is into the superhero stuff, lucky for me) and the moment the film ends she was so upset that she said, "did we come to theatre to see the villain wins and the heroes die, it's a superhero movie for god's sake". It was hilarious :)
Cap and Black Panther running into the battle ahead of everyone also had me HYPE AF. I audibly went, "OH YEAHHH!"
Kam Yeah that was cool but I couldn’t figure out why Bucky couldn’t/didn’t keep up.
@@tiawilliams5690 Bucky doesn't sssm to be as enhanced when not in Winter Soldier mode.
what makes Thanos a TRUE VILLAIN is when he told Stark I hope they remember you that's the thing if everyone didn't remember the ones lost it wouldn't be so tragic.
*Beginning of Spider-Man: Homecoming*
TONY: [opens car door] That's not a hug, kid. We're not there yet.
*End of Avengers: Infinity War*
TONY: [accepts Peter's hug before he fades out of existence]
😭😭😭
WOW Never thought about this
I think after the finger snap, Thanos entered the soul stone where he saw Gamora as a child, which could actually be a representation of her soul.
Cap to T’Challa:
“On your left”
I hate that Heimdall died, but I love that they gave him one more heroic, badass moment.
when iron man called the ebony maw squid ward i died.
I think that we finally got the actual comic book Thor power level, and the beautiful thing is that it makes sense, like in the first movie they wanted to make it grounded but now it has been unleashed to it's true potential with the storm breaker.
And my favorite Drax moment is:
Starlord: - Where is Gamora!?
Tony: - Who is Gamora!?
Drax: - I'll do you one better!, Why is Gamora!?
I almost died with that 😂😂😂
The movie was shot in IMAX. I watched it in IMAX and it was so perfect you couldn’t notice any CGI moments so guys I absolutely recommend watching it that way.
I really don’t get how people think killmonger is even a shadow of the villain that Thanos is, in background, motivation, and ability. Like I liked him a lot and enjoyed the heck out of Black Panther but personally that movie is so far beneath this masterpiece
Wanda Maximoff is a Omega Level Enhanced Human
that's why I like you hector, you're the only one that understand why quill immediately punch thanos like that. every other reviewer I watched says "it doesn't make sense" when it was totally make sense knowing how quill react in past movie.
It's like other reviewers forgot things that happened in GotG vol. 2 movie where Quill beat the shit out of his father after he heard the truth about the death of his mother.
exactly he straight shoots ego after hearing it. not even giving ego a chance to explain or anything
54:55 they called it ‼️‼️
Jesus Christ, he was frighteningly on point.
Wait the final stone was the time stone ,the first stone was the space stone
@@perredaobry3753 nope. Time stone was #5. Then Thanos goes to Wakanda, fights his way to Vision and takes the Mind Stone.
@@perredaobry3753 First stone is the Power stone from Xandar tho?
Prateem Biswas Loki’s was so sad
AMAZING review as always guys! In honor of my pump from this film, and Adam, Hector, and Augustin, I’m going to crack open the marvel unlimited, a superhero playlist, and read comics all night!!!! Love you guys!
Where is Gamora?
Who is Gamora?
Why is Gamora?
😂😂😂
The romance between Vision and Wanda is what the romance between Scott and Jean SHOULD'VE been in the X-Men movies. It was heartbreaking, honest, and loyal to the comics. I loved it.
I also think the Hugo Weaving's Red Skull is the most underrated villain/performance in the MCU. I loved we got to see him again! (Yes, I understand it wasn't Weaving in Infinity War...it's the acknowledgement to Capt. America: First Avenger I'm referencing).
HOLY SHIT. I never realized Strange pulling the Stone "out of" a star in the background.
They have The Guardians ship. Quill landed it there and they show it
The Hulk is basically a terrified child, that's why he's refusing to come out. Also, the Guardians came to Titan in their ship. Tony and Nebula can just use that.
damn never thought about that!!! I was wondering how they would return to earth
Just so you know when Groot says “I am Groot” for the last time to Rocket it translates to “Dad “ 😢
6 essential MCU movies you need to watch before IW
Avengers
Guardians of the Galaxy
Avengers 2
Civil War
Thor Ragnorak
Black Panther
The other half of the Asguardians sent the distress signal to the Guardians of the Galaxy.
And I think I was the only person going "YES!" out loud when the Hala star showed up in the end credit scene, but people loved the Fury cameo :)
Final fun fact.
I thought the suit was so advanced that it was trying to counter it somehow.
Valordar ive seen this Around comment sections i hope it’s true
Spidermans : i dont want to go Mr Stark broke me
It’s actually amazing how good marvel markets.
Gamora’s soul is in the soul stone. That’s why thanos sees her in that realm.
