Another thing came to mind. “He whoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall wield the power of Thor.” Steve was fighting for a most noble cause, Midgard itself, and Mjolnir knew it.
Here's a question what if the cap from the past had his memory erase from the mind stone and since the future cap said hail hydra to the agents they(hydra agents) convince the past cap that hes a hydra agent, could we have a new cap movie?
Lol nice but I think his transformation in here was pretty underrated he's just standing there like a regular guy hands in sweatshirt watching Thanos with a blank expression on his face but you know what he must feel inside after killing this man once already then still living with 5yrs of shame afterwards.. then when he says "just so we're all in agreement *thunderclaps and lightning in his eyes* let's kill him properly this time" reaches for BOTH Mjölnir and Stormbreaker transforms to warrior mode now looking JUST LIKE ODIN man I wish he still had the eye patch. He looked like a true Viking warrior it was pretty badass.

The hammering sounds at the end of the credits are a tribute to the first Iron Man but also a reminder that Kevin Feige built this franchise in a cave, with a box of scraps!!
I adore that Tony Stark’s story ends with his daughter and Jon Favraue, the beginning and the future of his legacy, talking about Cheeseburgers. I adore that Natasha Romanoff gets to prove herself a goddamn superhero once and for all. I adore that Bruce Banner is the only one who could save half the universe. I adore that all the original six got to, either in death or in life, earn a *break* after all their hardship. I adore the A-Force moment. I adore Nebula growing into a sister and a hero. I adore that this movie somehow got me more excited for what’s coming next (gimme a Valkyrie movie or a Rescue movie STAT) while *still* serving as an ending. I adore that this film took THOR THE DARK WORLD and made it a truly meaningful chapter in Thor’s journey. I adore that Captain America is black. I adore this movie.
In the universe where Marvel didn't reaquire the X-Men, this movie could possibly be the most beautiful & epic ending of the MCU and would still be admired for generations.
56:36 Tony DID outsmart Thanos. It wasn’t a sleight of hand trick. The nanotechnology of Tony’s suit transferred the stones from the gauntlet because it was also made from nano technology. It was like a failsafe that was built in the gauntlet that was activated upon Tony touching it. How do you not count that as outsmarting Thanos.
AC - 527 You’re right and he did stick it to Thanos because Thanos said “I am inevitable” and Tony saying “And I am Iron Man” is him telling Thanos that he is smarter than him.
his nano tech is adaptable it can turn into anything, hence all the sweet weapons he created instantaneously in Infinity War it wouldnt be hard for his own suit to have the stones transferred
This movie has my favorite shot in all of the MCU. When all appears lost and Cap is the only one left standing. We see him standing across the field from Thanos and his army, but Cap keeps moving forward. It is one of the most beautifully composed shots I've seen in a long time.
Although I loved everything about this scene. I thought Cap was about to go out the only way Cap knows how, fighting til death. And everyone coming in to avenge him soon after.
the whole last third of this movie is a marvel (pardon the pun) of filmmaking. I've never had such an amazing experience watching a movie before. And the crazy thing is that I haven't felt the need to watch it again. It truly left a feeling of closure and finality for the first 10 years of the MCU.
Also on the Jarvis cameo part of that is because on Agent Carter Markus & McFeely basically were showrunners for S1 and Joe Russo got to direct an episode as well as Feige being more involved. Marvel Studios had more input in Agent Carter than any other Marvel tv show (until the Disney+ shows of course).
57:46 Disagree about the Tony vs Thanos thing. Brevity is the soul of wit, less is more. Us seeing that he outsmarted Thanos was enough. We didn’t need a Tony monologue in that moment. “I am Iron Man” was the perfect response.
I've never had a reaction to a movie like I did to Endgame. Cap wielding Mjolnir literally made me shake with excitement and fear, which is something I've never done before and can't imagine doing ever again. Just the little things in this. Hulk handing Ant-Man tacos while Supersonic Rocket Ship by The Kinks kicks in, Scarlett Witch and Thanos' small meeting, Ken Jeong and Yvette Nicole Brown's cameos, etc. I could go on forever. Like you guys said, it's hard to look at this through the lens of a movie rather than an event.
I don't think Bucky even wants the mantle, that's the vibe I had. He signals enough when he nods to Sam in approval. Sam to me was the perfect choice he's got the heart and honor.
Anthony Russo said Steve lived out his life in the alternate universe with peggy, and then eventually jumped back to the main universe to give Sam the shield.
You're forgetting than when Steve gives him the shield Sam says "I'll do my best" and Steve's response is "That's why it's yours." Captain America isn't who he is because he's strong, he is who he is because he's a fundamentally good man, a symbol of what humanity *should* be. Bucky can't be that symbol because he doesn't represent anything, his struggle is internal, against what he's been turned into. Sam, as a black man and veteran, has something to fight for, a way to show the world how it can be better.
The color of Sam Wilson's skin is completely irrelevant to being Captain America. The only things that matter are one's bravery, morals, and commitment to doing the Right Thing. That is why Rogers was selected for the Erskine formula, and that is why Rogers offered the Shield to Sam Wilson.
@@Stogie2112 The idea that context, i.e. the way the world actually is, determines meaning is a pretty straightforward one. You pretty much need it to understand statements as simple as "pass the salt". Being black and Captain America has meanings that being white and Captain America does not precisely because the world is a certain way. All those black people in the US going to Black Panther weren't confused about the statement the film was making, and neither were the cast and crew. That statement won't have changed once we get a Sam Wilson Captain America film.
@@ThatGuyMontag .... Your argument is based on irrelevancies and biased social agendas. The Black Panther film had nothing to do with Captain America and what he represents. Captain America had and has NO social agendas. NONE. Steve Rogers became a superhero and a symbol for freedom from tyranny in all forms. He wasn't a hero for light-skinned people or dark-skinned people. He was a hero for ALL people. He didn't pass the Shield to Sam Wilson because he had dark skin. Not at all. The skin color and social agendas that you see are just your personal bias. I will cite your own post: "Captain America isn't who he is because he **has light skin or dark skin**, he is who he is because he's a fundamentally good man, a symbol of what humanity should be."
@@Stogie2112 Saying that various parts of our culture have no social agenda is a luxury that only privileged people can indulge. The fact that you're naive to your own privilege frankly isn't a good sign. Speaking as a white man, the only time I've ever been stopped by police has been when I was in a car driven by my Greek Cypriot friend (they look Arab don't you know); every person of colour I know on the other hand can tell me all sorts of stories and that's despite the relative privilege of living in the UK where they're not liable to be shot by the police too often (though it still happens here and guess what those people *always* look like). At best you can say what Falcon as Captain America represents isn't something that matters to you, but frankly why the hell should the rest of us care? You're just another privileged white boy.
The 22 movie journey of the MCU has eclipsed every other movie series including Star Wars for its ability to engage its audience for so long with so many characters, plot threads and easter eggs. The quality of Endgame felt closer to the Winter Soldier in terms of its story telling crispness. The movie was thoughtful, engaging and totally satisfying. Just joined RPG Patreon. Your Pre-Snap recap was one of the best f%/=$ things I have seen on a you tube channel in terms of its throughness, effort and love. Shout out to you all! Great review! Totally agree Endgame was a cultural event, that may be impossible to repeat.
Red Skull: Finally....after so many years someone came and took the soulstone. I am free!!!! Steve Rogers: Excuse me! I am here to bring back this stone here Red Skull: NOOOOOOOO!
When watching the movie again, before Cap goes back to return the stones, Sam asks if he can come too, but Bucky says he's really going to miss Cap. When Cap doesn't come back, Bucky doesn't freak out like Sam does, and he's the one who sees Cap on the bench. It looked like Bucky knew what Cap was doing, and was ok with giving the shield to Sam.
They can't do a standalone Namor movie.. bcz Universal studio has d rights.. just like hulk.. but they can use Namor in other movies.. I think they will introduce Namor in Black Panther 2
I've seen this movie now 15 times, and EVERY time I tear up when the song "portals" by Silvestri plays and finally hear Cap say Avengers Assembled. Goosebumps every time, and you see that beautiful two page spread epic fight scene
Endgame showed me a hiccup in the MCU, there should have been more Johansson and Renner!! That soul stone scene was so tragic yet heroic, they are so damn good together!! The movie made me cry more than once, It's my favorite comic book movie of all time!!
As much as I loooooove Captain Marvel, yeah. Scarlett Witch would give her a run for her money. Maybe win? I don't want to live in a world where I have to see them fight anyway.
Thank you guys sooo much. Watching your discussion was almost as good as watch Endgame. I need that fix. My favorite nerds (no offence). PS. "This movie had very strong message against that". Well Hector, wait till guy from Slashfilms explain to you how it ALL was just US military propaganda. "Military base - check!"
Here is a deleted scene that I really want to see, Remember in Infinity War, right after Thanos snapped his finger, it jumps to the scene which shows Thanos himself and a young Gamora talking ? The "What does it cost ?" or something like that... This time right after Hulk snapped his finger in the Avengers HQ, there should be a scene of him and Black Widow talking in the same place as Thanos and young Gamora. Talking about "Let's go I am bring you back" "I am afraid I can't go with you Bruce, a soul for a soul" something like that... Can you imagine this scene ? So that's why Hulk said "I tried to bring her back." later in the movie... Really would love to see that.
But utlimatly it was not bruce that was on vormir and "made the sacrifice" it was Hawkeye so I guess I understand why he didnt see her after or maybe he did who knows
There was actually a scene when Tony Stark snapped away Thanos and his army he saw his older daughter telling him it was ok, but they felt it was too wierd so they cut it. Cause unlike Thanos seeing young Gamora we hadn’t seen an older Morgan Stark before.
Kudos to Disney as well. I know many people hate them, and worry about their monopolization of the industry, and I worry about the same things, too... . ...but even still, an investor, a board of directors, that has the patience and guts to take up a project pitch that would take at the least 10-years to pay off.. .and throughout the whole process, allow almost full creative control to the producers of the franchise... and resist the temptations to interfere every time... that's a titanic achievement by itself in the business world. . Just look at how screwed up, petty and short sighted people at Warner were, or how gaming big-names like EA or Bioware, Bethesda screw over their own fans for near-sighted greed and prospect of quick cash. . Give credit where credit is due. Endgame couldn't have happened without Disney behind Marvel's back, all the way, for 10 years. That's an incredible feat, Disney.
Exactly. Disney could've pulled the plug on distribution when Ike Perlmutter was deliberately stalling production on Captain Marvel, Black Widow and Black Panther movies back in Phase 2. If Disney has done anything right in my lifetime aside from the original Pirates trilogy and a few great animated films, it's the Marvel Cinematic Universe
Thank you guys for the analysis and review! This movie left me floored and I'm both satisfied with how it ended, but also excited for the future!!! A new chapter is about to begin.
Why Jarvis? Agent Carter (the show) was written by Markus and McFeely and produced by Feige. That's why. Feige didn't produce any of the other tv-shows.
I love you guys so much, thanks for the video! Now two point I thought you were gonna bring up, specially after watching your Pre-endgame recap: 1. We're approaching critical mass on the amount of villains in custody to start thinking about Thunderbolt Ross starting his own Thunderbolts team, specially after Far from home introduces the idea of villains posing as heroes! 2. There were THREE Snaps that happened on the planet Earth, and as Prof. Hulk said, the Snap was mostly a Gamma explosion... One could think this could possibly cause some mutations?
I can't believe no one is talking about this but I think it also set up the Eternals. When the Ancient One said the Infinity Stones are protecting our universe - but our original timeline doesn't have any Infinity stones because thanos destroyed it. Shit is gonna go down in a cosmic level now definitely.
Bucky killed Howard Stark, I would hate to see him holding that shield... I know he didn't mean to, but that would be to much, let Buck Be The White wolf
Im2 was never great. It's fine. An average movie, nothing special. The others are above average but an argument can be made for Dark world being average as well.
I loved exploring the nitpick about Tony grabbing the stones. Instead of being overt and in the moment with "I though of this," I took it as we've been shown that he's thought about it since 2008. Each move he's made, the suit of armor around the world, Ultron, the Accords, protecting the ones he loves and the world, drove him to never stop improving his armor. So, his nanotech armor being able to grab the stones IS the payoff to all that. He did it. That was the payoff to his years of research and developement. So, it didn't need to be a last-minute tech solution. He's been building to that moment all along.
Something caught me especially with the scene between Bruce Banner/Professor Hulk and The Ancient One. When Banner said to the Ancient One about Dr. Strange giving away the time stone to Thanos her reaction with the surprise was great. But when she said that the reason Strange did that was in favor for her. Strange new that Tony Stark was going to die in 1 out of the 14,000,605 possible realities. But I feel the reason Strange gave away the time stone to Thanos to spare Tony's life was because Strange saw that Tony Stark would figure out a way to save them by creating a time machine as the means to collect all the Infinity Stones from specific points in time to bring everyone that died at the hands of Thanos' snap.
Thank you!! This was so good! Everything was so well said and honestly you explained so much i was confused about! endgame was by far my fave--so many fan service moments. when all the women came to fight i literally said : "oscar worthy give them all best actress" didnt know i needed that scene but am grateful i saw it!!!
@@1969Makaveli Not saying i didnt like it, i thought itm was cool, im just saying its not realistic. Like why did none of the guys help aswell? Why did every single girl decide to help? How did they all manage to get there when they should be busy holding off Thanos' army? did they just stop attacking all the girls for a moment so they could all gather?? it dont make sense really
Steve went to another timeline, lived his life with Peggy. Then when she died and he had his life he came back to the prime timeline. The Russo’s confirmed this and that was my thought too after watching the movie. I could not see a single plot issue with this film. Everything made sense to me and I absolutely loved this film.
Did you see how old he was, maybe he was ready to let go? These were his friends. Maybe he lived his full life and his family let him go to return to this moment. Either that or he stayed in the same time and went all the way, didn’t interfere with anything cause he knew there was the version of himself frozen in ice and Peggy kept him a secret but that breaks all continuity with shows like agent carter and stuff. The Russo’s already confirmed though that Steve went to branched time and eventually came back.
I'm from the UK so annoyingly we don't do any of that in the cinema, even if it's the greatest movie in the world. The only thing you could hear was people tearing up. And sniffling. Still a great experience though.
@@RGerrard12 I think it depends on the crowd) I was at the premiere, so there were mostly fans, most of them are young people who probably can't even control themselves😂 And honestly, being able to express our feelings all the time is the most precious thing😊
I LOVED this and every single word you all talked about Steve? I felt and experienced all of that! After watching the movie 3 times, I've really been waiting for this video and you did not let me down!
In a way, Tony did think of it as he already had a gauntlet built into his armor. Remember, he didn't remove the glove, he just grabbed the stones and they merged into his nanotech.
i think what agustin meant about bucky being the one who should have gotten the shield is because it's been foreshadowed throughout every captain america film where bucky/winter soldier holds the shield at some point, and maybe for them that was a way to let people who are a fan of that storyline get some type of rep and they were always gonna give it to sam or perhaps they realized they can't really have another white guy be captain america after following steve for 10 years. also even tho i'm bucky's number one fan, it'd be weird in the universe of the avengers for a "war criminal terrorist" to be given the shield especially since today's bucky might not have huge ties to america as it is today. it will be cool to see him use the shield in later projects or even be cap for a day while sam has the flu WHO KNOWS but i agree with agustin that it is a bit of a let down because bucky would be the best choice on the emotional relationship side of things but sam is the most logical and moral choice.

Thanks so much! Joined the pateron just to be able to be excited around other fans. No one I know else where is anywhere near as excited as I was after this movie. I even ran into someone who claims to no like any MCU movie after the first Avengers! Happy to see Zac, he's always fun to have on. I can't wait to see what they do next with the movies. Not so sure about some of the Disney+ shows, but we'll see.
There were many great moments, but my favorite is seeing all the Avengers, Guardians, Asgardians, Magicians, and then Giant Man (Scott Lang) running with them. To see that technology and the mcu come this far was such a moment for me right there. We watched 21 movies come together in one. The whole view of them running needs to be a poster and a screensaver. One of my favorite mcu moments.
Great Spoiler Review! Love End Game! need to see it many more times! Cap at the end best part! I like to the second Old Cap Theory, that what I choose to believe right now, same time line just change name, had to avoid young cap, etc.. When comes to BluRay need to do commentary video! Keep up great work!
Sad to see the Russo Brothers and Markus & McFeely go from the MCU but what a run of films they have done with Winter Soldier, Civil War, Infinity War and Endgame (along of course with Markus & McFeely writing Captain America: The First Avenger and credits on Thor: The Dark World). Fitting the last scenes were with Steve and Sam and Steve and Peggy.
I loved the movie and it was definitely a cinematic experience. But why didn't we get a funeral for Natasha? They could have at least poured one out for her as a team
I literally stopped what i was doing. Went to Burger King, bought a couple of cheese burgers, then went to the store and bought a 6 pack of Modelo, came back and started watching like i was in the room with you guy.. Cheers!
Cap and Thor made me so happy, having the Hyper Heroes Assemble for this is review is great. Tony is a genius and why he picked BK over mickey Ds : P and for me this is easily the best mcu film and Cap with Mjolnir was my fave anything in the mcu.
And when Thor and Tony stayed on the ground and Cap stood up for another one-on-one against Thanos! The heart of a LION!! ♥️ This movie had, again, everything and was a great ending for the infinity stones storyline. Chapeau Marvel! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Honestly though, I would love to eventually see the Sinister Six team up in a similar way The Avengers did in wave one. Have each of the sinister six introduced in different movies over a period of time, then at some point down the road have them team up against Spider-Man.
Pirate Dad I think magneto and venom would be good villains in the mcu but I don’t see them a world wide/galactic problems like the ones I listed. I don’t believe there’re villains that require avengers movies. They’d be good as villains in singular movies like a Spider-Man 3 for venom and an introduction to the xmen with magneto
Tony didn't sleight of hand the stones. The glove is Tony's tech, which is why he was able to get the stones. Tony's tech communicates with each other.
love this entire conversation - - one nitpick though; it's not sleight of hand. The gauntlet uses Tony's tech, so it is his nano-suit that wins the day - it is Tony outsmarting Thanos. Like in your batman analogy, using the batcave or gadget on his belt, etc., is part of the preparation. Remembering that his tech responds to his suit is the outsmarting and I totally dug it!
Dandre Lewis and also because like Steve Bucky wants to rest too, T’Challa said in Infinity War “this one may be tired of war” Bucky and Steve have both had enough fighting.
I think it would have been cool... Sam picks up the shield, says it feels like it belongs to someone else. Steve nods and says, "Then find them." BOOM! New and/or Young Avengers. Could be Lila Barton, could be Peter (unlikely, he's probably just Spidey), Morgan Stark, Cassie Lang, or someone totally new.
there were quite a few things i didn’t like after my first viewing, and i was worried i my mind wouldn’t change after a second viewing. but BOY was i wrong, i absolutely loved it the second time around. i honestly think it was so overwhelming and i just needed time to process. CATWS is still my fave, but this movie is definitely in top 5.
Main reason why Sam is taking the mantel of captain America is because they have a plan for Bucky to become the white wolf they have already planted the seed in black panther and in infinity war
I loved you guys gushing about this film. Adams reaction brought a smile to my face. Everything he said is how I felt in this film. Cap is my favourite character in this universe even though I love them all so for them to end the movie on Cap and Peggy got me hard ❤️
Cap Is My Absolute Favorite Character Too Always has been and Always will Be I have been Waiting since the End of First Avenger for him to FINALLY have that Dance with Peggy and get his Happy Ending that he so Rightfully Deserves😭👍👍 he sacrificed so much his Whole Hero's Journey from First Avenger to Endgame Peggy was Always The Love of his Life he tried to move on but he Couldn't because she was the Only Woman in his Heart his Best Girl his Soulmate, his True Love,he Got to Finally Live the Life that he Always wanted I haven't Cried so much at the Ending of A Movie than The Ending with Steve and Peggy Finally having their Dance and Happy Ending!!!!
I kinda disagree with Hector about Aunt May being part of the snap. At least from the Far from home trailer, i kinda thought that Happy and Aunt May are dating because when Peter was gone. Happy was there for her and naturally a bond was made. That's why Peter wasn't aware of them being a thing. At least that's what i think. But we'll see once Far from home comes out
1:12:40 I think the decimation doesn't work equally. For example, Thanos could wiped out 99% of city A and just 1% of city B, not fifty-fifty of all living creatures. So maybe this is the reason why it looked like that in Endgame. It could also be an explanation for Peter Parkers' classmates in FFH.
I believe cap gave Sam the shield because of respect to Tony knowing bucky was the person that killed Tony parents. When Tony gave the shield back to cap i think he knew then who he had to give it too...
But also bcuz he deemed Sam worthy. He's one of a few people that really trusted Cap & his judgement without having a single doubt. Bucky gave a nod to it as well.
This is my first review to watch of any MCU movie. I’ve seen every trailer reaction 20+ times. I honestly had a hard time connecting everything correctly in Endgame, and in here I’ve found another reason to rewatch ANY MOVIE YOU GUYS HAVE EVER REVIEWED cause this pow wow is awesome.
Objectively its terrible. The best moments are the Thor and Loki moments and that gets undone when we learn Loki faked his death. The side character jokes with Selvig, Jane and Darcy are even worse than in the first one and the villain was a waste of an epic comics villain similar to how they ruined Ultron.
I saw a theory that probably isn’t true, but when Howard tells Tony “shake it, don’t pull it” as Tony grabs his finger, it’s mimicked later, giving Tony the idea to “shake” the stones from the gauntlet instead of “pulling” the gauntlet itself off Thanos’ arm.
For a moment I was so thinking that Pepper Pots had died (in childbirth or since Morgan was born) since they wouldn't show her on screen, and the isolation was Tony's way to deal with it.
Tony was smart using the Stark nano tech on the Gauntlet 2.0. He knew all he had to do was put touch it and it would auto-move the stones to his suit. Saw again last night. I think i do see Ben Mendleson in Peter Parker's High School shot. It has to be him.
5:34 makes me smile because, silly me, “Thor: The Dark World” was the first MCU movie I saw from start to finish. I thought it was pretty good, and wondered why so many people were down on it. Of course, now it isn’t even close to my favorite MCU movie, but I’ve always appreciated it for what it was: a chapter in a continuing story. The funeral scene alone makes it worth viewing.
I’ve honestly watched it over but just from the time hulk puts on the gauntlet to the end. The battle scene is absolutely amazing and is what I will watch this movie over and over and over for.
Zac, I sort of get your nitpic, but Thanos was dead for five years. Undeniably dead. I don't know how plausibel it would be for Tony to have anticipated this happening, especially concidering that they were going to put the Stones back as soon as possible. To me the trick WAS Tony outsmarting Thanos. He knows how his own technology works and used it to his advantage
LOVE this discussion. About Cap's choice about Sam over Bucky, I think you guys are right on about WHY he picked Sam, but I think you missed the metaphor with Thor's hammer. Cap was able to pick up Mjolnir because he was "worthy." That's EXACTLY how Cap felt about the shield! He left the shield with Tony in Civil War because Tony pointed out he wasn't worthy to have it. Then Tony gave it back to him in Endgame because he felt Cap redeemed himself. In fact, you even notice Cap was tentative to take it back. So now, ask yourselves: who do you think is more worthy of the shield? Sam or Bucky?

This movie has my favorite shot in all of the MCU. When all appears lost and Cap is the only one left standing. We see him standing across the field from Thanos and his army, but Cap keeps moving forward. It is one of the most beautifully composed shots I've seen in a long time.
It's a shot that tell you everything you need to know about the character.
I agree! What made it better for me was that cap was surrounded by sunlight while at thanos's side, the sunlight is covered by smoke....
Although I loved everything about this scene. I thought Cap was about to go out the only way Cap knows how, fighting til death. And everyone coming in to avenge him soon after.
“So long as one man stands against you, Thanos, you cannot win.”
the whole last third of this movie is a marvel (pardon the pun) of filmmaking.

Disagree about the Tony vs Thanos thing.
Dr. Bobcat exact same reaction for Cap holding Mjolnir. I’ve Never felt like that
Endgame inspired me to give 100% of myself and make something beautiful out of my life. It was a piece of perfection
I don't think Bucky even wants the mantle, that's the vibe I had. He signals enough when he nods to Sam in approval. Sam to me was the perfect choice he's got the heart and honor.
I feel like Bucky just wants to rest awhile after everything. Technically he can even go back in time and live his life.
Yup. With all that Bucky went through I think he was happiest when he was just chilling in Wakanda.
Anthony Russo said Steve lived out his life in the alternate universe with peggy, and then eventually jumped back to the main universe to give Sam the shield.
You're forgetting than when Steve gives him the shield Sam says "I'll do my best" and Steve's response is "That's why it's yours."
Captain America isn't who he is because he's strong, he is who he is because he's a fundamentally good man, a symbol of what humanity *should* be.
@@Stogie2112
The idea that context, i.e. the way the world actually is, determines meaning is a pretty straightforward one.
@@Stogie2112
Saying that various parts of our culture have no social agenda is a luxury that only privileged people can indulge.
Any new thoughts after falcon & winter soldier series (and a few years)?
I am here to bring back this stone here
Red Skull: NOOOOOOOO!
Steve, seeing it's Red Skull: "You gotta be shitting me."
I feel they made the Ant-Man and the Wasp moment small because Ant-Man didn’t think Wasp was gone for five years. He just had a rough few days.
I love y'alls review bc y'all talk about how you feel versus just recap the movie play by play.
Question how did Bucky survive all those years
Did you guys get the reference about the earthquake under the sea of Wakanda. It could be a hint to Namor.
FINALLY! Someone notice that reference too! Namor is coming guys.
I saw that too. And immediately thought of Namor. Mannnnn, I hope they do a Namor movie. Cause I know it'll be just as good as Aquaman.
They can't do a standalone Namor movie.. bcz Universal studio has d rights.. just like hulk.. but they can use Namor in other movies.. I think they will introduce Namor in Black Panther 2
@@debkinkarmaity8481 i was thinking the same because they mentioned water earthquakes in wakanda
He needs to be the villain in black panther 2
I've seen this movie now 15 times, and EVERY time I tear up when the song "portals" by Silvestri plays and finally hear Cap say Avengers Assembled. Goosebumps every time, and you see that beautiful two page spread epic fight scene
Endgame showed me a hiccup in the MCU, there should have been more Johansson and Renner!! That soul stone scene was so tragic yet heroic, they are so damn good together!!
The movie made me cry more than once, It's my favorite comic book movie of all time!!
Hawkeye and Widow: Mission Budapest
Renner? Prob. But Scarlett? Nah she has plenty of appearances in MCU.
IDC, scarlet witch is the strongest. She nearly killed Thanos all by herself‼️‼️
I said that too. In infinity war she literary was destroying an infinity stone while holding Thanos back who had 5 stones.
Yeah she’s OP as hell. Wish she was killed off.
AFATASSCAT why?? She has so much potential.
One of my favorite scenes in the movie.
I'm looking forward to it, I have a feeling Endgame will be seen as having a strong message against militarism as the status quo.
Here is a deleted scene that I really want to see,
Remember in Infinity War, right after Thanos snapped his finger, it jumps to the scene which shows Thanos himself and a young Gamora talking ?
And to think 11 years ago, people doubted Marvel Studios.
22 movies, averaging a billion bucks each.
Bruh why would ppl do that
Not disney . They bought marvel right before captain America came out or some time early in the beginning
That's why. Feige didn't produce any of the other tv-shows.
mindwarr oh didn’t know Markus & McFeely were the writers of Agent Carter. That’s great.
No wonder. I was just pissed that they chose Jarvis over any of the Defenders
Alex Silva it sucks but they had no say in that department plus it’ll marvel tv kinda fell apart right before the movies
I literally cried four times when I first saw the movie, but I only cried once the second time. I call that improvement!😂
Riley Ashford same here I cried so much especially the last scene
There were so many people openly weeping in the first showing I was in, incredible. I never had that in any movie ever.
Just watched Kevin Smith cry multiple times breaking down this movie, then I seen your guys reaction is up! Can't get enough!
I love you guys so much, thanks for the video! Now two point I thought you were gonna bring up, specially after watching your Pre-endgame recap:
Been with the trio since phase 2 I literally feel like I've been waiting for my friends' reaction love you sob's keep up the good work
No one in my theater screamed about falcon becoming cap including me because we were to busy crying over cap
I can't believe no one is talking about this but I think it also set up the Eternals. When the Ancient One said the Infinity Stones are protecting our universe - but our original timeline doesn't have any Infinity stones because thanos destroyed it. Shit is gonna go down in a cosmic level now definitely.
I think they are planning for Bucky to be the White Wolf in the Black Panther franchise, thats why the shield went to Falcon.
Bucky killed Howard Stark, I would hate to see him holding that shield... I know he didn't mean to, but that would be to much, let Buck Be The White wolf
57:14 It wasn't sleight of hand though, it was nanotech. Tony just needed to touch the gauntlet for the nanobots to send the stones to his suit.
Do NOT recast Daredevil. Like RDJ, Charlie defines the role and shall never be surpassed.
Imagine if Season 3 was made into a two and a half hour movie instead. It would be Record braking and insane.
I would've paid big money just to watch you guys reactions alone during the the first viewing
Im2, im3, dark world and ultron were always great. It came down to personal prejudices that led them to be tagged as less than that.
Same with CM as well.
Im2 was never great. It's fine. An average movie, nothing special. The others are above average but an argument can be made for Dark world being average as well.
Yeah, I cried a lot.
What are the chances of a rat hitting all the right buttons in the right order?

give or take.😏
Or some film theory
I've been waiting for this review! Honestly I'm thinking about seeing Endgame again cause it was so good
I loved exploring the nitpick about Tony grabbing the stones.
Short review of Endgame: my 3D glasses got foggy.. and it never happened before...
It's a shame that there are a lot guys who didn't like that scene. They have a problem with women empowerment.
@@1969Makaveli it was a bit stupid, like I don't think in the middle of a war you'd be conveniently teaming up like that haha.
@@shayden2412 Oh well that's your opinion. Not mine I enjoyed it.
“Im going to enjoy it... very very much”
Steve went to another timeline, lived his life with Peggy. Then when she died and he had his life he came back to the prime timeline. The Russo’s confirmed this and that was my thought too after watching the movie.
I could not see a single plot issue with this film. Everything made sense to me and I absolutely loved this film.
WHY would he? if his life, friends, KIDS? were in the other timeline... he is alone here... makes no sense.
Silvestri also payed homage to the back to the future theme.
It was probably the best movie going experience for me. The crowd was cheering, clapping, laughing, crying as ONE!
“Is this the last act of defiance of the great Tony Stark?”
"Don't waste your life Stark."
I LOVED this and every single word you all talked about Steve? I felt and experienced all of that! After watching the movie 3 times, I've really been waiting for this video and you did not let me down!
Scarlet Witch Wrecking Thanos 1 on 1 was AMAZING

This movie had, again, everything and was a great ending for the infinity stones storyline. Chapeau Marvel! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
There are a few villains I think would be incredible for the MCU:
1.Doom
2.Annihilus
3.Galactus
4.Kang the conqueror
Ghazi Imran What about Magneto or Venom?
Honestly though, I would love to eventually see the Sinister Six team up in a similar way The Avengers did in wave one. Have each of the sinister six introduced in different movies over a period of time, then at some point down the road have them team up against Spider-Man.
Pirate Dad I think magneto and venom would be good villains in the mcu but I don’t see them a world wide/galactic problems like the ones I listed. I don’t believe there’re villains that require avengers movies. They’d be good as villains in singular movies like a Spider-Man 3 for venom and an introduction to the xmen with magneto
Ghazi Imran True, true.
I would nerdgasem if the next big event was age of apocalypse.
Tony didn't sleight of hand the stones. The glove is Tony's tech, which is why he was able to get the stones. Tony's tech communicates with each other.
This is the best review I've seen. OG super hero news.
love this entire conversation - - one nitpick though; it's not sleight of hand.
Some of the best discussions ever! Great job guys!!!
What I’d Falcon and Winter Soldier is Sam Wilson being afraid to take the mantle and ends with him taking the mantle
That's exactly what I'ld like to see.
No Sir He Gave it To Falcon Because He Deserves it.
Dandre Lewis and also because like Steve Bucky wants to rest too, T’Challa said in Infinity War “this one may be tired of war” Bucky and Steve have both had enough fighting.
but falcon isnt a super soldier..does he get the serum?
@@kennystephens7098 , Every Super Hero Doesn't Have Super Serum Coarsing thru there Veins. But it Would be Cool if Cap Gave Sam A Blood Transfusion.
I think it would have been cool... Sam picks up the shield, says it feels like it belongs to someone else. Steve nods and says, "Then find them."
BOOM! New and/or Young Avengers. Could be Lila Barton, could be Peter (unlikely, he's probably just Spidey), Morgan Stark, Cassie Lang, or someone totally new.
That 'Burger Tribute'...that was the most prefect send-off I've seen from fans of a character. Y'all are awesome.
there were quite a few things i didn’t like after my first viewing, and i was worried i my mind wouldn’t change after a second viewing. but BOY was i wrong, i absolutely loved it the second time around.
i honestly think it was so overwhelming and i just needed time to process.
The time travel they did in Endgame was like the superior version of what The Flash did with their 100th episode.
Just realised the similarity. Hahah.
Hector, you're being uncharacteristically non-hyper verbal :/ jk 😂✌🏼️
Zac looks so excited in that opening and I love it. I also really appreciate Hector talking about it being more than a movie in such a positive way.
You guys know the stones are gone in the main timeline right? Warlock won't be the soul stone nor will red skull be on vormil guarding the stone.
Hmmm not a single mention of Nebula despite her having one of the longest screen times in he movie
But we'll see once Far from home comes out
Yes, I guess we will, won't we ; )
"I'm a slow learner. It's true. But I learn." --Sansa Stark... this is what I thought of on the talk about the MCU learning. Love it.
I can’t wait to see Sam as captain America. You can feel the POTENTIALITY
Giving the shield to Bucky would just made him worse, preventing him to move on from his dark past.
THOR the Dark World IS a great movie. My wife and I watched it 2 years ago and we both loved it. No idea why it gets so much negativity.
IKR?!
Exactly
Who else was so into the review that they didn’t see what happened to the food???
5:34 makes me smile because, silly me, “Thor: The Dark World” was the first MCU movie I saw from start to finish. I thought it was pretty good, and wondered why so many people were down on it. Of course, now it isn’t even close to my favorite MCU movie, but I’ve always appreciated it for what it was: a chapter in a continuing story. The funeral scene alone makes it worth viewing.
I’ve honestly watched it over but just from the time hulk puts on the gauntlet to the end. The battle scene is absolutely amazing and is what I will watch this movie over and over and over for.
Thank you guys for mentioning the credits!!!! Those credits were the BEST overall! Loved how they did them!
Yeah " Take that future Kids I saw Endgame in theater ".😂 I'll remember this statement.
The line the white boy was looking for was given by Howard Stark when he shook hands with Tony and he says, "Shake, don't pull."
😉👍
I was freaking going nuts during the last battle.
Sam. 100%
