Kurt Cobain’s Death and Final Days in Seattle | Exclusive Tour on the 25th Anniversary

- This video has been 25 years in the making for me. My main reason for visiting Seattle was to see the home of Kurt Cobain and sit on his bench in the park beside his home. Finally I got to do this...and a whole lot more. In this video I take you on a tour of Kurt’s final days in Seattle and go inside places where was last seen. Places never before seen on camera. This was a personal odyssey for me and I’m so glad you the viewer, you the Kurt and Nirvana fan, could come along with me.
If you would like to become a patron of mine and donate to my channel so I can continue to create , please go to / scottontape
Thank you all so much for the continued support here. It’s appreciated sincerely.
Kurt Donald Cobain (February 20, 1967 - April 5, 1994) was an American singer, songwriter, and musician, best known as the guitarist and frontman of the rock band Nirvana. Cobain is remembered as one of the most iconic and influential rock musicians in the history of alternative music.
On April 8, Cobain's body was discovered at his Lake Washington Boulevard home by electrician Gary Smith, who had arrived to install a security system. Apart from a minor amount of blood coming out of Cobain's ear, the electrician reported seeing no visible signs of trauma and initially believed that Cobain was asleep until he saw the shotgun pointing at his chin. A note was found, addressed to Cobain's childhood imaginary friend Boddah, that stated that Cobain had not "felt the excitement of listening to as well as creating music, along with really writing [...] for too many years now". A high concentration of heroin and traces of diazepam were also found in his body. Cobain's body had been lying there for days; the coroner's report estimated Cobain to have died on April 5, 1994 at the age of 27.
I was 20 when Kurt died. I was driving my little 1991 Honda CRX on Route 3 in NJ going home from NYC. My boyfriend and I were listening to 92.3 fm k-rock when it was announced. I remember my mouth dropped open and I couldn’t believe what I heard. I had to pull over because I couldn’t help but cry. Kurt spoke to my mind and heart in so many ways. From the childhood similarities that drew me to him, to those incredibly emotional/angry screams that made him “the voice of MY generation”. He didn’t like to be held to that height but he was like nothing before. And nothing since. So much talent and so much potential. At 45 years old, I still miss him and think about him a lot. My 15 year old son has discovered nirvana. He’s really into Kurt and we’ve done a lot of bonding through me telling him all about that time period. He has my original Bleach CD from 1989. Plays a lot of nirvana on his guitar. I’m proud of my boy. We discuss Kurt a lot. Not only the music. But the man. Kurt still lives on! ✌️ ❤️
I was almost 29, and my son was almost 7. He was really into Nirvana. I liked them, but was more into Alice In Chains and Soundgarden. I remember him coming to me, crying, and telling me. I just held my little boy, and cried with him.
@@roxannemoser Your story really touched me, I was picturing me in your shoes on that sad day, thank you. Cheers.
I still cry every April that week. I hate that week cause it makes me sad the whole time. The hardest part is when kids discover that music and then they always ask, Where's he at, Or Whatever and you gotta tell them they're gone.
Heather Thnx for sharing that I'm 47 and your so right wen u say that there has not been anything like him since, but if not listened to Layne Staley other band Mad Season I'd advise u to listen to that really special in my mind anyways 🤟🇮🇪.. Kurt said he visited Cork in Ireland and then found out his ancestors were from there, some real amazing stories from Kurt Cobain especially after his death, but all true in every way..
@@roxannemoser I hope you have check out Layne other band Mad Season, I'm sure you have, but lots of ppl that love AiC have not which is hard to get.
Subscribed not because of Kurt or nirvana but because of YOUR PASSION. It’s awesome to see someone take the time to show us places. Living through your eyes. Nice job man!
Thank you so much Taylor that’s lovely to hear. So glad you enjoyed the video and for the kind words. Kurt has inspired me for a long time and to literally walk in his footsteps was an honor, a privilege, and a dream come true.
I don't even like Nirvana (lol.. and I'm from Washington and that 90s era) but I respect and still enjoy the videos on Kurt or Nirvana. It's still interesting. It's how it's represented. Scott has the gift of still making you listen. (Just like Grimm does).
So sad about Kurt Kobain was so gifted musicly. Rip
I couldn't agree more
So true 👏👏
Always wondered why Courtney didn't go back to Seattle to find Kurt when he was missing. She was telling anyone that would listen that he was about to kill himself yet she stayed in her 5 star hotel and did nothing. Great video.
Well, she didn’t exactly do nothing. She manipulated seemingly everyone around the case, and the press, and lied, and withheld info, and faked an arrest, and impersonated someone, and threatened people, etc. etc. Oh yeah, apparently she did a shit ton of drugs there in the hotel too.
@@keef7224 you simplified that timeline so well. Lol.
Because he wasn't missing and she only told Tom he was suicidal.
If you've committed a crime, why get the attention of an investigator? That's not very smart. PS: Nobody did anything about his disappearance.
@@leof2497 Grant tried. Ran into a bunch of junked out story tellers though
Hi Scott from Queensland, Australia.Thank you so much for the video. You take me to places that I will never be able to go to.I think Kurt was a troubled soul.He now rests in peace. God bless you mate and keep them coming.
Diane Sainsbury hi I’m from Sydney I am a huge fan too I would love to go to Seattle to see some of these sites
I live on the Gold Coast in Queensland. Small world lol.
I’m in Melbourne..with shitty weather! Can I move in with you? 🤷🏻♀️hehe
You seem like a very genuinely kind person. You handle a contentious question that’s of great importance to a lot of people with so much grace, respect, and level-headedness, even when you know how people might react. And of course, you have a very sincere love for Nirvana and Kurt, which I appreciate. Great video.
Thank you so much I deeply appreciate that . Long live Nirvana✌🏽✌🏽
@@SCOTTONTAPE lovely sentiment Scott keep finding out about Kurt and I'm sure there will be more things around the corner so to speak..I know you do other videos but it seems like Kurt was your number one persay 👏🦋🇮🇪
Thank you so much scott. I was a huge kurt and nirvana fan. He was a huge inspiration to me and the reason i started playing guitar. I was a sophomore in high school and was shocked and horrified by his death. I went into a big depression from it. This is a hard week for me it still hurts. But his music memory and him will forever live on in my life. Thank you again and i hope one day i too can see his house. God bless you always and have safe travels
I’m only 19 but I still feel that older generations had it good in terms of music since you guys where able to talk about people like Kurt and genuinely say that his music was good
life cereal we definitely had a great variety in music back then. Everyone kind of listened to every genre. But there is still some great new artists today. Is there a voice of a generation quite like Kurt? I’m not sure about that tho. Thank you so much for watching!
i remember watching mtv and nirvana would absolutely dominate the network, Kurt was known to everyone even if you didnt like punk rock. Theres a doc on netflix that explains his murder
Nirvana is always gonna be my favorite band. Kurt Cobain was the most intelligent, kind, sweet , moody , empathic and authentic person ever. Listen to his music every day. #GrungeisCobain
I listen to Breed and About a Girl each and every day without fail
@@SCOTTONTAPE " so, you don't have a mind and you need an easy friend?" That's cool... I can get behind that 😝🤘🏻🍻

Scott I appreciate you so much. Thanks for ALL of your videos on Kurt and for taking us to these incredible places. Very emotional content for anyone who is a fan and/or has a heart.
I was 21 when he died and was lucky to be able to see his last tour in Vancouver.
It was such a awesome show.
I'm gonna have to check out Linda's restaurant next time I'm in Seattle.
RIP kurt 😥
Definitely stop by it’s a cool spot
Zenith Paris February 94... i was there... 🤟💀🖕... we are a little bit lucky... a unique guy a unique band for a one shot life... peace my friend... 🤟💀
I was at the January 4 1994 show at PNE FORUM. Nirvana played 2 Sold Out shows in advance in Vancouver.
I never listened to Nirvana, but I loved this vlog and how much Kurt meant to you. I know how surreal and emotional it can be to visit locations like this. I'm sure I'll feel the same way for me when we visit Janis Joplin's hotel room, as you did visiting Kurt's. This was one of your best and the order was perfect.
I am an older generation and through my son I love Kurt's music, My son was devastated when Cobain died, it was Traumatic for your Generation...It's time to let go of the PAIN and in HIS HONOR....LIVE, LAUGH AND LOVE!!!!
Thanks for writing that Ivette. It truly was devastating. ✌🏿✌🏽
When I heard he passed, I was 6 years old. I had all of his cassettes, and listened to him so much before he passed. It was night time on April 8th, and my Dad turned on the news. Then I heard my Dad say "oh no".. I asked him what was wrong, and I looked on the screen of the tv. It was a very sad day, but it made me mire intrigued to listen to him. I'll be 32 this year, and to this day, Nirvana outweighs more than everything I listen to. Thanks for sharing, awesome vid. The best of puck to you
My word I now feel very old ..I was the same age as Kurt when he died ,I was 27 . Yet another awakening for me to stop hammering class A drugs non stop .
I was nine
@@SophieW-z9r still shooting dope non stop since 2012. The park next to Kurt's house was the first place I got high on heroin at 12 in 1996. He is still to this day my hero regardless of how he actually died. I can feel certain things and in my heart mind and deep inside of my soul I know that he was murdered for money
I was a sophomore in college. When I heard I was walking to a class in a cold, kinda rainy morning when I heard that we lost Kurt. April 8, 1994.
Thank you Scott for making this video with so much respect. The day before Kurt's body was discovered, I had just woken from a 6 day coma, I was in the ICU ward in hospital suffering from encephalitis (brain infection). I had been systematically poisoned for 4months, Drs tested my hair to determine how long it had been going on. When I heard about Kurt, I remember thinking I would gladly have swapped places with him as he had more to offer the world than I. It's a long awful story, I'm very grateful to have survived and I can't imagine the emotional pain Kurt was in.
Your comment touched me. It seems you survived something very serious. I hope you are well and happy now. Sending you all the best.
@@pennyinaz Thank you for your kind reply, Penny. Yes I'm well _ happy although I do have some ongoing health issues. Thanks for caring. Cheers
I'm was 13 when Kurt Cobain died will NEVER forget that day , am 37 now time flies, am listening to Nirvana and having a beer , RIP Kurt Cobain. Cool video by the way dude .
hey scott, im very grateful for all the hard work and dedication you put into these amazing videos! one of the best ways ive found to reconnect with many of my musical idols.
your awsome brutha! thank you for being you.
You’re welcome Swade!
Scott, I really appreciate all of your videos about Kurt. I hope that one day I too can visit these places and pay my respects. Until then, this is the next best thing. Thank you for the time, effort and heart you put into this tour.
I'm 59 years old, and just a huge music lover, of all types, but mainly rock. I watched MTV from it's infantcy. Well when the grunge bands pretty much took the hair bands out of the equation, I was a little PO'd. and pretty much didn't give the Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Nirvana bands a listen, then one night I watched MTV unplugged, Nirvanna, and I was captivated by Kurt's voice and message, just blew me away, then it seems shortly after I heard on MTV the breaking news of his suicide, for a guy that just discovered this man and didn't even own an album, I was devistated. Scott, I discoved your channel by accident when it popped up on the side when I was watching a Stevie Ray Vaughn music video and you were visiting the crash site, which is not that far from where I live ( Iowa ) and just loved the way you video taped the whole thing with information that's I never knew. Been watching you all the time now, keep doing what you're doing, you have a subsriber to the end.
To see a genuine video, and just a video in Kurts memory on UA-cam TODAY... Thank you for doing that for us all🤘
✌&❤xoxo
This happened roughly a couple weeks after my boyfriend at the time took his life...94 was a heavy year for me...i was 17 at the time Kurt passed.. i really enjoy your videos btw... keep doing what you're doing. Much luck to you.
Sorry to hear this hopefully it made you stronger and realize life is so precious 💖
So sorry for your loss
Hi.. my name is brandi. I'm a humungous kurt fan as well. I've never actually known of any other fans that are still as huge of fans now as they were then. That's awesome.
Anyhow I stopped the video so I could comment and tell u about when I found out. I was spending the night at my friends house. They were fast asleep and I was laying there watching MTV. All of a sudden kurt loder came on with MTV news I cant remember if they had a breaking news or if it was just the MTV news special report. But I will never forget hearing "kurt Cobain was found dead, from an apparent self inflicted gun shot wound to the head." I instantaneously started sobbing uncontrollably. I'm not sure if I intentionally ally woke up my friends or if they woke up because of my sobbing. I told them.
I COULD NO BELIEVE THEY WERE LIKE OK.. AND DIDNT GIVE A SHIT.
I CRYED until I fell to sleep. In the morning I went home. I thought for sure my family would devistated like i or was. They werent..
Nothing short of incredible when it comes to videos from Scott! Safe travels bruh
Awesome video Scott. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. 👍
Absolutely beautifully done Scott! Kurt may have been my sister's friend, but he touched my life too (along with millions.) Thank you for making these videos! Hope you're having a great trip. :)
How'd your sister meet him?
Hope your having an epic trip Scott!
I do believe it was a homicide but I still enjoyed your vid Scott. A thumbs up from me mate.
I'll take chris word over yours
@Aaron Julian No one gives a shit.
I knew Kurt a bit. Many of his friends and family think his death was suspicious, and also Courtney's father thinks she did it. Kurt was a genius, great loss for us. Courtney is currently in court for kidnap and attempted murder and trying to stage it as a suicide... the court documents make for a disturbing read.. Silva case.
I know, right. And the ppl who never believed murder are acting like it’s not weird to be involved yet again something so dark?
I must have known him alittle bit too...because I knew already every last thing you said!lmao.
Great video Scott! Watching this tour brings so many memories of that day. My wife and I had the chance to visit Seattle a few years ago and we stopped by the Moore, Pike Place, and Discovery Park. Beautiful city with so much musical history.
Thanks so much I’m glad you liked it! And yes Seattle is awesome !
Solid fan of yours, no question. Stating your opinion, which is in line with what I believe as well, in a direct concise manner, I have so much respect for you. I appreciate you taking us along, I was a big fan of Kurt's and hope he's flying high having left his pain behind him. Suicide is most painful for the ones they leave behind.
So well done, Scott, great video my friend!!! It's been years since I've been to that park and to see Kurts house, wow!! Makes me want to plan a weekend trip up to Seattle so much, I'm going to work on that soon. Such a gorgeous view, I could spend hours just sitting on those benches soaking up all the surroundings. I hope you make it to Aberdeen for more Kurt Cobain stuff, I'm sure you will. Loved this!!
Great video, fascinating to see the locations up close... I was fourteen years old when Kurt died and his music meant a lot to me then and has continued to be an important element in my life. Miss him always 💕
I can see the pain on your face, Scott, but you still made an awesome video. When Kurt died, I was 21 and pregnant with my oldest son. I was a big Nirvana fan, too. I think the park benches read it best. For 24 years, I thought Kurt had it all, wife, beautiful daughter, music and success, but I guess it wasn't enough to sustain him. Thank you for making this video.
Amazing video today Scott, it was nice to see & hear a more softer side of you.... I could see how hard it was for you at times. *** hugs***
Your face is so chiseled! Can’t get enough of your channel.
❤💚💜💙💛
Scott, One of the reasons I love your videos so much is that you are genuinely a really good person. I can tell by the things that you say & how you interact with people in your videos. Thank you for being a good person! 😃
Hello, I’m Shawn McLane from southern Illinois...thank you for the awesome video. I too am a huge Nirvana fan and will someday go visit Seattle and the places you showed. I grew up with the grunge era, was 16 when Kurt died and was in my friends bedroom half drunk and high when the news came on the radio. And yes it is very possible to take that much heroin, I was a 12 year heroin addict myself and only by Gods grace am I still alive today. Been clean 2.5 years and it’s a struggle everyday. I feel for Kurt, I almost did the same thing to myself just as a way to get away from the hellish nightmare of heroin that eats away your soul for ever. My 4th stint in rehab finally clicked and been clean ever since. So yes I completely understand what Kurt was going thru, with the drugs at least. I also read about a creek or River there close to Kurt’s house that’s called McLane creek or River where he used to go and contemplate or whatever? Very cool, McLane is my last name. I had never heard of that before. Anyway, awesome video and you have another subscriber. I appreciate all that u have done and love the hair, very cool. Thank you again.
Hi Dakota congratulations on your sobriety and thank you so much for sharing . A memorial for Kurt was indeed held close to McLane creek just outside of Olympia and apparently Kurt liked to sit by it.
Scott-can't wait to see your next video about Kurt Cobain. I was getting ready for work when I heard the news about his death on the radio and was in total shock. I didn't get a chance to go see the house when I was there so thank you my friend. Awesome that you got to see the rooms where he stayed. 💜🎸✌
So sad Scott.. big hugs. Thank you for posting.. stay safe xx
I'm really enjoying these Kurt videos your doing. His work means so much to me. I was 15 when he passed away.still hits me hard. This is so great walking where he walked. Thank you Scott respect.🌼💕
Really enjoyed this! Thank you and greetings from Sweden
Hi Scotty. I liked your video about Kurt Cobain and could see the sadness in your eyes and hear the sadness in your voice when you talked about him. Felt happy because you were in the place where you wanted to be to take some time to reminisce on the good memories of the man, whose music you love. I know of Kurt Cobain and his band Nirvana through the kids and also heard about his death. However his music is keeping him alive and I am sure tributes from his fans will always be forthcoming. Looking forward to the next one. All the best. Take care ❤️✌🏼💕
Wow thanks for making and sharing this amazing video. I loved nirvana and kurt. My first cd was nirvana nevermind. Was gutted wen i heard about his death. I was living in england and just had my first son who was 5mths at that time.
Can see how much it meant to u to be there and how emotional u looked.
Glad u shared it as i will never make it there.
Very interesting Scott seeing these locations all these years later, having watched the video I proceeded to play nevermind album in the works van on way home had forgotten how good the album is keep up the great work buddy 👌👍
Hey Scott thank you for everything that you do. You motivate me to wanna be a real life youtuber and the few subscribers that watch me like that approach. I love how you are doing what you love to do. It definitely motivates tons of people to live life in front of their cameras. It's really cool how you showed ur unfiltered emotions throughout the video. Thanks a bunch!
Scott I just found your channel and I’m hooked. Thank you
Why thank you so much Crystal ✌🏽✌🏽
I was at my grandma’s house, sadly my uncle took his life March 25 1994 and then Kurt shortly after it was a rough time. I remember walking in and telling my aunt that he died and she was upset and closed her bedroom door. She had nirvana posters up all over her walls. R.I.P Kurt and R.I.P uncle joe.
I feel you brother. I know im late on this video (about 3 years) but I can feel you. I empathize with the way you feel. I'm a huge fan of Kurt's. Also of Shannon Hoon. I'm 42 years old. I remember when Kurt passed. I remember thinking that Shannon kind of went unnoticed because he was over shadowed by Kurt. It's a strange world we live in. I would of never thought I could connect to fans the way I do now because in our day we didn't have UA-cam. It's like if you lived in the 90's you totally get it. If not I fully believe you can appreciate it but it's not the same. Kurt was such a fascinating person and still is to this day. It's crazy but I know more about him.thwn ever these days because I can watch videos that would of never been aired in our day. People like you make me remember how important he was. He literally defined the 90's for me. Thank you so much for doing what you do. I can relate to you but also to Kurt. I was a hermon addict at one point. Shit I'm 42 and still go to a methadone clinic. Even though I own own business. I don't ever admit or talk about that to people because I'm a plumber and it's not something I'm proud of. Going through withdrawal sucks. I've done it then I end up using again. So for the last 5 years I've stayed on methadone out of fear of using again. I wish Kurt never killed himself but at the same time it's like I can understand why. When you're an addict it sucks. Imagine being an addict amd the world is watching you in your 20's. At this point in my life I'm like "I am who I am" and I try to be a decent human being. I feel like people like us can totally empathize with the human condition and know it's not all black and white like some people would like it to be. So I know I'm just a random dude replying to UA-cam but just like Kurt people like you mean so much to me. Keeping it real, as they would say. Brother, I'm so glad you make your videos because it allows me to visit Seattle with out actually leaving my house. I know I'm rambling but I usually don't respond too much to you tubers. You just brought me back. We all live such short lives that it seems like the 90's was a totally different universe. Did it even happen? Obviously it did but I'm glad people like you go out of your way to remind us.
When Kurt was on the BBC news I was at home in my Edinburgh,Scotland high rise flat with my 11 month year old daughter.. I’d heard it on the 6 o’clock news and was utterly gobsmacked.. I’ve always been a big fan. The news was so shocking!! 💔🎸 RIP KURT❣️
I don't know the right words to use, so I'll just say i thought you were clearly feeling the emotion of being there which really came through on the video. It's so nice to watch you as its how I would react if I was there so I really appreciate it. Thank you
And thank you so much for watching Joan

I thank him for getting the whole thing to main stream so we have the music to remember him and the amazing artists that came with grunge. so I say thank you kurt!!!!
Much love Scott and Kurt. I was watching tv when it came on the news i did cry. I appreciate you doing this video and sharing with all of us. I could feel your sorrow when you was at the park. I could feel your sorrow through it all but especially when you got close to the park and his house. Such a talented guy he was. His music lives on. I was 15 when I heard the bad news about Kurt's death, I was totally devastated, because I was a huge fan of Nirvana, which introduced me the heavy music, and I was a grunge boy in Brazil, and I still love Nirvana and all of the bands from that era.
Greetings from Brazil!
Thanks Scott. This was really emotional to watch. I was just shy of 16 when Kurt died. Living in Australia we found out on the Saturday, and it was being talked about on my local community radio station (3RRR FM Melbourne). I didn't leave my room for the rest of the weekend. The following Monday at school all my friends were just devastated, like me. Such a sad time. I was kinda suspicious from the start, because it just didn't seem right. At the time I would never have thought I would actually get to know Tom Grant 20 years later, and have an active role in trying to get Seattle PD to re-open the case- even from as far away as Australia- the internet has really shrunk the world! Anyway, thanks again for all your Nirvana vids. All the best. Dan
Wow thanks so much for sharing that Danoz and thanks for watching!✌🏿✌🏽

This is awesome! I'm a massive Nirvana and Kurt fan. As a pissed off angry teen growing up in Scotland his music spoke to me in a way no other music had before and for that I'll always be grateful. If I ever find myself in Seattle or LA then I definitely will be making the pilgrimages to his houses. I believe he was murdered but either way thanks for posting this video, it really is amazing.
These ones were especially interesting Scott. I'm a huge Nirvana fan and your interview with his Uncle Gary and staying in his old apartment, etc. Very Cool. You're so gracious to people. So impressed with your work and your obvious passion. 💛
P.s. Your videos are all that much sweeter cause you're Canadian and we didn't grow up far from each other. 😊
I was 12, I was watching MTV and Kurt Loder came on with a news break saying the front man for Nirvana, Kurt Cobain was found dead in his Seattle Home..... I couldn't believe it. My heart was shattered to a thousand peices. I didn't want to believe it because I've been a fan of them since I was 9 years old. I still have all my original posters hanging up that I had when I was a kid along with an original 1992 smiley shirt in a frame. I am now 40 years old, and will always love Kurt, Dave and Krist amd their genre of inventing grunge rock!!!! ❤❤❤
I got to your channel through americanskyfox channel so that was awesome. Glad I found your channel .this is something that really helps go deeper into the time and scenes of that era in music . I'm 40 I'll be 41 in few days. So I was in high school and I was a punk rocker at this time. I remember this time very well. This is music was the soundtrack to my youth. Love this thank u so much for doing this
Thank you for taking the time to watch M C I really appreciate it. Soundtrack to my youth as well ✌🏽✌🏿
@@SCOTTONTAPE no problem! You're channel I'm so glad I found. Keep up the great work man!
Sweetie I am so happy for you that you finally got to go to Seattle. Enjoy your travels and remember my friend, stop and smell those rose's along the way. Love and peace...
Great video Scott. I was the same way with Jimmy Hendrix I grew up in the 60's-70's. Took me a long time to get to Seattle to see where he was buried.
Except it's JIMI Hendrix, fool. He 's been a part of popular culture for nearly 60 years. Least you could do is show him the respect of spelling his name properly.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this awesome video. Super cool speaker and dude. I hope I can go to these places someday. Stay positive 🙏
Thank you so much Kazuya I’m so glad you liked it!!
Thank you Scott for the awesome video!! RIP KURT!! Gone too soon!! Poor guy!! I love you and your great videos!! God bless you my friend!! ❤❤😢😢😢❤❤❤
I was 19. I was watching MTV when I heard the news. Still remember as if it was yesterday. Nirvana was one of my favorite bands. My Son who is 17 now loves the band also.
Wow! Just Wow!! To be right there in the places he loved. That close. I have to watch this again! I still listen to his music. Rest easy Kurt. 💜
Huge Kurt fan🖤💖 Read all the books myself as well. Thank you 🙏🏼 so so much for all of the Kurt videos!! Would love to see it in person.
Hey Scott, great video!! I was sadly to young by about 5 - 6 years but kurt has been huge in my life. I have my personal view on his death and that's all I say. Thank you for doing this as I live in the UK so not easy to do a quick visit. Keep up the great work much appreciated. 🎸🤘🏻
I watched a lot of yr videos, mostly about Kurt Cobain, and u r doing a great job for us who can't leave our countries and visit places and meet other, similar people with similar views, talk to them in person. So thanks for opening that window for me, and I am sure there are many of those like I am.
Awesome Video, Me And My Fiance Enjoyed It...
Rest Easy Kurt Cobain We Miss You!!!
brannewfreestyle thank you so much ! Congratulations on your engagement! Hope u subscribed I have more special Kurt videos coming. Kurt Forever✌🏿✌🏽
Thanks Scott. Awesome Vid
Man! I just wanted to say THANK YOU. It was awesome to see it all even from far. I live in Brazil... and its my dream as much as I see it was yours to visit all this places. The feeling is incredible even seen only on a UA-cam video. THANK YOU for showing us and thank you for all the emotion, respect and significance you put in every little bit of space Kurt was born, grew up, died and even where he rests.. I hope to see it live soon. Thank you man!!! It was incredible to see. Much love for you in your life. Thanks!!!!! God bless you!
Laleska Marques greetings to Brazil! I’m so glad you enjoyed the video Laleska and that you were able to pay your respects through the video as well. I truly hope you get to visit there someday and experience what I did . There are many other places I could have visited having to do with Kurt but I couldn’t possibly get to all of them on one trip. (I do have a couple of other videos about him coming tho ) Once again, thank you so much ✌🏿✌🏽
I imagine man... But it was already amazing! And I watched all the recent videos in your channel... I am amazed with the location of Halloween of '78.. with the fountain of Clueless.. some of the locations of Ten Things I Hate About You, Michael Jackson's grave... Really good the way you show those places, makes me want to be there... I really enjoyed. A coincidence: I was watching a documentary about the death of Judy Garland earlier yesterday but your channel was only recommend to me when I was watching videos about Kurt... And while I was watching your other videos it was a surprise to see you visited her graveyard. Hahaha "funny". Do the locations of Friends too.. don't know if you like the TV show but if you did and had the opportunity would be great. I'm gonna keep watching. ❤️
That was so sweet of him to give them to you. There are definitely some kind people in the world.
We all have our opinions but this video was done for us and you can tell it was done with caring and love thank you Scott
I'm not a Kurt Cobain fan or that style of music, but I felt your sadness Scott, it was a great vid, I do remember seeing on the news that he had passed. I'm so sorry for your sadness for a favorite artist. We forget our favorite singers/ actors are human and deal with issues too.
Would love to kickit next time your in town thanks for everything man you’re awesome! 🫡
I barely got to listen nirvana music and I love it so much and what wonderful video and I love listening to you talking and so much love to you too scott
I was on ur team until the 10 min mark. Lol Much respect tho. All love. I’ve taken my kids to that bench it’s so haunting especially with his home to the right. I was 17 when he passed. Still miss him today.
Awesome video! Thank hou Scott! RIP KURT!

Thank you so much Zoi ! So glad you liked it. It was a difficult video to put together but I’m glad I did
I was kickin' it with some friends in an indoor hot tub at a home outside of Chicago when I heard of Kurt's death. We were all college students and hanging out at this big lakefront home a friend of mine was "sitting." There was a TV on, we were watching MTV when they broke with the announcement. It was just silence for a long time after that. Cheers on a great VLOG, I have seen several "last days of Kurt Cobain" (sites, etc.) VLOGS. This is one the best. Good job!
You're the man Scott! That's my name also! hehe. Love it! Such great content. In my humble opinion, after years of intense research on both sides, I do believe Kurt was murdered. I was in the other school of thought for many years tho. Keep up the great work, I always love your videos!
I just came across your channel..I am also a HUGE fan of Kurt Cobain, to put it lightly. Hope to see more videos about him in the future ♥️
Thank you Bailey, I’m hoping to do more about Kurt when I’m back on the west coast in a couple of months. I’m currently in Baltimore and had a video planned about Kurt and Nirvana in NYC but it fell through and I’m hugely disappointed. C’est la vie tho. Thank you for watching and follow my Instagram and Facebook group!
@@SCOTTONTAPE will do! I'm binge watching all your videos now lol. I was actually just in Seattle myself but didn't get to do nearly as much as you. So cool of you to post this for all the fans!!
As a big Nirvana fan, I'm so glad you've made a few videos on Kurt Cobain! Last July 2019, I was at the same driveway & parkette to the left of the house that you were at. However, I didn't get to see his other homes elsewhere in Washington state or meet his uncle so your videos are the next best thing, thank you, Scott! Fellow Scarberian btw 🙌
Thanks Scott, I am a big fan (of yours). I am pretty sure the last days sighting at Linda's was never confirmed nor at the Marco Polo nor of Kurt sitting in the park, although he had been at Linda's and MP prior. There was another sighting at a restaurant (Cactus?) was confirmed where he had dessert with some unknown people who never came forward. He also was never missing as Courtney said - ie he called Courtney and left a message as he left rehab and turned up at his seattle house hours later and talked to 2 people in the house straight away who also told her... it all gets more and more odd and disturbing the more you look....
