Did Trivium let go of their past drummers? Or did they quit? Cause I dont see how they would let go of Alex he wants it he loves being in this band and at his skill level, he's a beast.
@@noahfeikert7092 Their past drummers were fired. Matt has said many times that the drummers stay on the band is on the drummers hands. Playing good is not enough. They have to be as committed as the rest of the band, have the same vision for the band and get along on tour. If any of those things don’t go along with the rest of the group they have to be let go for the longevity of the band
Matt's said in a few interviews that he thinks Alex is their forever drummer after how well he's done for the band since he came on for Sin and the Sentence.

I've been a trivium fan since the beginning and I can't tell you how thankful I am that they found Alex. He is a God send. Just like Danny Carey and Chris Adler Alex makes stock verse riffs sound amazing. If you can do that then the truly amazing riffs sound even better.
It’s nice to see him find his place in the band. He’s such an. amazing drummer When you look at the first play through vids from sin and sentence, he’s a literal robot. So perfect and just dead pan. It’s astounding. Here he actually looks like he is enjoying himself! 😂😂
That face at "Waiting for all of it fall" says it all! One of Alex's best works in my opinion. Everything is perfectly placed and it's a true testament to his insane technical ability. That intro fill alone sets the tone for the song!

Watching this man through years has been crazy. This is so good, I hope they keep him. He had gotten crazy good now. He gets slept on, but man he's good and so in time.
I really love how in the last two albums they managed to give Ascendancy vibes with Sin and the Sentence sound. Partly because they're absolutely great, partly because of this man!

I clicked this thinking "Oh cool, Alex playing stuff of of Ember" and then felt dumb. This song has such an early Trivium sound that I already confuse it with the classics
Maybe not the best screamer or the best singer but he has a solid command of both and can perform better live night after night than 99% of metal vocalists

I believe they said they wanted him for years. I think he’s the guy going forward for years I’m and happy with that.

Absolute beast. Hiring Alex 5 years ago was one of the best things Trivium ever did.
