  • @justinmacasinag6258
    @justinmacasinag6258 Рік тому +6405

    Sadly, Sailfish, Swordfish and Marlins are an endangered species dwindling faster than a reel rolling.
    Edit:
    Sword fishes can be populous in some areas and are also dwindling more than they reproduce and not surviving up to adulthood and these family of fish are tens of years to grow before going full adult, but unfortunately for marlins and sailfish(malasugi) they are overfished since the modern fishing army industry began and they are hunted for meat to near extinction. See it for yourself on documentaries on fishing countries like us, china and the rest of the world where each have their own content on protecting these creatures. You can see upon hundreds of thousands or even millions of their cut tails were displayed in just 6 months in 1980's where these fish are popularly hunted in western u.s seas warm waters. There are spots where these apex predators only migrate and reproduce on certain seas. Not only these specific family of fish but other top apex predators as well like sharks and tunas and even families of whales are endangered. Human population grows rapidly and we need more food and resources everyday, all- year-round to sustain this growing population. If you think of it, of all the creatures on earth we humans are only the ones that have the intelligence, tools and power to protect and destroy by will on things we want living on this one planet. Most people are ignorant and do not know the negative effects of erasing such creatures in top of the foodchain. Mostly care only of what is at the present. Yes, these several crucial fish species may be replaced by other species in the system, but it is not the reason and doesn't mean we have to wipe them out to extinction that fast and these large creatures may be replaced, but it will take hundreds or even thousands of years before being fully replaced in their niche and wiping them fast little by little every year causes huge negative consequences on the balance of the foodchain quickly. Apex preds in the ocean hunts schools of fishes and even feed on other apex preds in the ocean where there wastes and eaten residues drops down to the bottom of the sea where most of the development of plankton and oxygen producing bacterias rely on. You know that 55% of the worlds oxygen are created by these small living creatures that rely solely on the apex predatory fishes living on the upper sea. 40% of the worlds carbon emissions are locked in these small creatures that if they all die by a huge margin can warm up the ocean and the environment causing more chaotic weather calamities. We people can be wiped out on the face of the earth and probably have little to no effect on the foodchain, but these creatures that live on large bodies of waters are needed by other species on earth to survive because they give the 55% of oxygen life support all living creatures needed and lockup the 40-45% of carbon that can have huge effect on the world environment. Sorry for the long message.

    Ok I once had a dream where I was surfing in the beach and suddenly I was wayyyy out in the open ocean after riding this colossal wave all the way through and this huuuuuuge and majestic Marlin approaches me suddenly and there I was without my board submerged in the depths of the ocean being able to breath under water. The marlin was angry at me and I was scared at first I could feel its anger and see it in the way it moved it wasn’t happy that I was there. It was twice my size and it was red ( odd color for a Marlin ) anyways it gave me this feeling like it was very ancient and old started talking to me telepathically. It told me a lot of stuff that I can’t remember now but I remember the feeling I had in the dream about the things it was telling me, it was pure amazement, wonder and understanding it was like it was telling the secrets of the ocean and I understood everything perfectly. The only concrete thing I can remember the Marling saying to me was the very last thing. “That life had began on the ocean & that life will end the same way by the ocean”. I then was sucked by an immense water current to the depths of the ocean where it was dark and millions of eyes were looking at me through the darkness as I was being sucked into a cave at the bottom of the ocean in which I did not wanted to enter because it looked terrifying and ominous but I had no choice couldn’t resist the current. As I was being sucked in I glanced behind me and saw that at the bottom of the ocean floor there was complex machinery and mechanical structures and they covered the entire bottom. They looked manmade and evil it’s the only way I can described them. Then suddenly as I went through the cave it was like some sorta portal because I was transported to the beach where I was surfing in the beginning. Then I awoke.
