We use the same two mower at MLC !! We got our Trimstar in 2009 and picked up the X-one when they were released in 2011. They've been great mowers and never given us any problems.
I have had my x one 60" for a year. I cut some pretty bumpy stuff and have only had the spring fall off once, and I wasn't even bumping around! make sure that the spring is at 9" when stretched.
Strange about the spring. I have owned a 2011 since it was built and haven't had the spring pop off yet. My property is very bumpy. But I have the 60in deck vx4. Look at the 60in deck and see how its different. Maybe you could modify it . The lower half of my property was a cornfield that had grass seed thrown on it. That's bumpy. Good luck great machines.
I changed the pully chain with a hook on an adjustable bolt. Took a bit of modifications but nothing too complicated. Best part is an easy adjustment to tighten belts.

Two of the properties are paying me more than the last company. what sold them is they believe that I truly want to make their property look better because I actually do. Quality is starting to sell these people, as before it was only price and they quickly found out that that's not solving anything!
Beach River Landscapes my go to line is always you get what you pay for..... you are pay this company x amount for shit service because you just told me all the things they do wrong but if you spend just a few $$$ more you can can get the quality you want and deserve! Man there eyes light up like kids on xmas morning. Quality always sells but you have to back it up. Btw I totally watch this after I said I wouldn't.
I'm sure someone has already mentioned this, but your tension spring is installed incorrectly. The tang does not through the chain hole, it is meant to sit at the end of a link. Never had mine come looks over some terrible terrain
I've been using the super z & the hustler z for 9 yrs with the same belt design. I have never had a deck belt come off in 1900hrs. You may have an alignment issue.
You don’t have both sides of a link captured in the slot cut into the deck. Do that and it won’t come out. I have a Huskter Fastrak SD, I have never had it come loose, 280 hrs. I have spots in my yard that will trigger the seat kill switch. I did take it all apart once to clean it. Hope that helps.
Just got an X one 60” yesterday. Out the door for 8,800. Can’t wait to see how it holds up this summer. Have a Scag turf tiger with 2200 hours that is gonna be retired to a back up mower. But it truly still runs like it has 100 hours on it. Absolute beast of a mower. Awesome vid man, thanks for sharing
Caleb Wright it’s been solid. The cut quality isn’t as good as I’d hoped. But it’s not really bad either. The hydro pumps have fans that help keep them cool, but no shroud protecting them..had a small stick bounce up and break about 5 plastic fins off. Dealer replaced it quickly (warranty) it really likes fuel. At least on the 27hp Kawasaki it does. But overall it’s been great. No regrets.
That isn't the way the chain hooks up turn the chain where it is flat and slide it in the slot it doesn't hook in the hole of the chain been there done that.

I love the spring setup and I mow pastures called yards all day long at full throttle never bounced lose for me. It's great setup something is wrong with your setup.

G. Dyer that's awesome man, but this is how it came when I bought the mower and it popped off about a month after I brought the mower home. I'll look into what you're saying. I notice if it is too tight it pops off, if it is more loose than tight it stays on
Same Here I've had 9 hustler mower over 12yrs and never had problems with the tensioner spring popping off. I love Hustlers! Great mowers and a great company to deal with if you ever have any problems.
HAY MAN THAT CHAIN FOR YOUR DECK BELT IS ON WRONG . I HAVE A X-ONE NEVER SEE THE CHAIN POP OFF AND YOU HAVE IT TO TIGHT . ONE LINK IN THE CHAIN SHOULD GO IN THE SLOT YOU HAVE 1/2 OF THE LINK IN THE SLOT. HAPPY MOWING LOVE MY X-ONE.

Jagthunder1 , which mower did you end up with ? And are you happy with the choice you made. I'm mower shopping right now and I like both , the Tiger Cat II and the X-0ne . I"m leaning toward the Skag for a couple reasons . Maybe a silly reason but one of them is I think I like the seat on the skag better . I've never had a suspension seat but it seems better to me and my properties are bumpy ! LOL.

Beach River Landscapes I have a 36 inch stander for back yards and I hate having to keep air in the front ones. I need to change them out. Good for you on knowing how to blow your business up fast. I'm a grinder (owner operator) with bobcat dump trailer and never have enough to time to keep up with everything. I have a problem putting trust into people to do work for me. Drives me nuts. I respect how fast you have gotten your company growing. Good for you and good videos
One of the main things I replace when hours get up there are the steering lever dampeners. Worth the money for the change.

Check and make sure the top part of slot is not bent if it is not in line with the bottom then it won't stay on

strange, I never had the deck spring pop off! Ive had my xoni i for 5 years!
Only time my belt broke,ran Over a ant bed that was higher than I thought, never had a problem.Fastrak 54 SD , bought it 8 31 2014. GREAT MOWER..
You have the tensioner chain hooked on wrong. Chain link goes in flat not hooked thru link like you have it. Mine has not come off in 8 years.

Yessir I figured that out. Issue was I got it like that but ever since I loosened it everything was good!
Call the MFG on the spring, I have never had a problem with the chain, something wrong,

I'm a skag guy. Don't you hate the front tires that are not solid. I can't stand the tires that have to be aired up in the front.
